“These guys are jokes”
They really are. Only Kim could stumble upon “the holy grail” over a decade ago and still manage to be fumbling and bumbling his way thru the dark. This is a guy who naively announced in 2010 he’s got the holy grail and then naively pronounced in 2013 that they would be mass producing in 2014. Talk about missing the mark by a mile. I’ve been assuming that even HE will eventually stumble upon the light switch but it’s statements like that which remind me we’re dealing with profound incompetence here when it comes to running a business. Jon and Ken must be shaking their heads so much they’ve given themselves whiplash. Think about it. Kim actually thought he could run the company BY HIMSELF up until he eventually finally admitted he needed help in 2015. The ego it must take to think he could do it all himself. I’ll bet even today he micromanages every thing Jon does and takes months to make a decision. The holdup is and always has been Kim. I’m sure he’s a good lawyer. Couldn’t be a worse CEO.
“I still don’t know the answer for sure but I can see where it really is to Nam’s benefit for us to be there. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised to see Government help in our endeavor. ”
Yes I would say it’s a given that it is to Vietnam’s benefit that we are there. I think kblb and Vietnam will obviously mutually prosper from the arrangement. However , does that mean kblb didn’t have to still grease the wheels to get it or that they may have to continue to “pay to play” ? The problem is we likely will never know the true extent of it all as I doubt it’ll show up in an 8-k lol. However , I’m interested in seeing just what percentage kblb ends up booking in profits and how expensive it will be to operate in Vietnam.
Corruption within Vietnam’s government well known. As far as corporate espionage is concerned , kblb itself acknowledges it’s a real concern. Please don’t take my word for it; do your own homework.
You think Vietnam government is altruistic ? It’s still very corrupt over there where officials have to be paid off. You also have other interests, some of them may even be other governments such as China , working on making sure kblb fails. Corporate espionage and sabotage are real things , not just some Hollywood script. Of course kblb will have to pay a cut for the continued honor of operating within the country. Hopefully they didn’t give away too much in exchange for being allowed to operate there. Time will tell.
Speaking of the workers , here’s a nice video of the silk process from A to Z.
I think kblb needs to eventually bring reeling and these other processes in house in order to improve quality assurance and maximize profits. Right now kblb is just a supplier of raw silk. Subcontracting out this intensive labor gives them less control over quality. They need to buy a reeler and a textile to be successful long term.
This probably has been posted here already but for this like e who missed it...I found it interesting.

Well as we all know , nothing in life is free so one has to wonder what the cost of this “free marketing” would be. I really look forward to seeing real numbers once kblb starts selling silk. Let’s hope al these partners don’t take too big a bite oout of kblb’s apple. We still don’t know how much they have to pay out to the country of Vietnam for the privilege of producing there. There is a price to be sure.
Yes polartec already has experience working with silk. On the other hand , I do wonder if they will have to either use new machinery or re-calibrate existing machinery , similar to how the reelers had to. I would think by now , they are prepared for any modifications that would be required.
Not kblb’s silk though. They sell these military silk items already. You can find them on amazon.
Thanks for the tip :)
Well I think I’m done buying and selling kblb , at least for the first quarter. I’ve amassed a ridiculous number of shares and I’m ready to sit back and hold and wait for the “boom” of 2020. Parking it here seems as good a place as any. It’s been fun accumulating them for next to nothing with the house’s money. Ok , CEO Kim, I’m ready for you to dazzle me with your brilliance this year.
You mean we won’t see 100 dollars a share as Bob predicted ?! Lmao
It’s coming. I do think 2020 will finally be the turning point for the company. The only question is will existing shareholders get screwed in the process.
I’m aware of their filings thanks but that’s all they are at this point. Only time will tell if they are approved. Kim’s track record to date on patent approval has been dismal to say the least.
“
At 30 cents, Kim will rake in $65 mil in a buyout...he sells kblb and as hope suggested, Kim will retain the rights to whatever he and candy cane are cooking up and deal with that as a private company that he will fund himself...
If I were kim, that’s exactly what I would do.... ”
That’s what anyone would do and that’s why it’s likely Kim will; he’d love to rid himself of the whiny shareholders that email and call every day. At 30 cents , he can still claim he maximized value for long term shareholders as promised.
Hope you’re right. I’m not feeling optimistic they will get the patents.
I can’t imagine the offers could have been much as kblb is worth next to nothing at the moment because there are no patents. Right now anyone can pretty much steal and duplicate their work. They have no protections from that.
I like Jon Rice. He’s the main reason I’m bullish long term. He’s everything Kim is not but should be.
I just bought another 25k shares at .19 to test the waters. This time though it executed immediately. I was surprised at that. Usually it’ll sit there.
With kblb you always have guessing games because you have a CEO who holds his shareholders in contempt and has never felt obligated to keep them informed in a timely matter. This is the guy , remember , who told shareholders commercialization in 2013 and then failed to update them on that progress until 2015 lol
I too think it will be a good year BUT I had also originally thought 2019 would end in a dollar. It should have , if could have but Kim really went and screwed that up with poor handling of the r/s overhang. Here we are almost in Feb and he still hasn’t bothered to address it. So yeah , I think 2020 will be a good year but don’t underestimate Kim’s incompetence and contempt for his shareholders.
That sounds about right. Kim wipes his arse with shareholders lol
Plenty of other good stocks to be trading while waiting on this snooze fest here at kblb land. Don’t miss out by starring into the empty void that’s kblb.
“That was a giant mistake”
So you’ve been telling all of us for years as we profit <yawn>.
That website is bogus. They always make false claims in regards to kblb
Church is in. Preach it Mojo!
Yeah I was suspecting the same thing , stock photos , but I’m not sure. If a picture was worth a thousand words , the army picture would have meant an army contract years ago lol. The argument that a picture equals “boom” is ridiculous.
Really , it’s not a surprise as Kim alluded to a period of silence in that letter he sent out. He’s cryptic as always but when I read his “in the months to come” comment , I took it to mean we’ll be waiting awhile. Kim has a pattern. Whenever he sends a letter out to shareholders telling them everything’s great , expect a wait lol
That would have been a fluff pr. I think he made the right call not putting it out. Better to hold off until it’s shipped to the customer imo
Gee you really think so ? Lol. You’ve only been saying it since 2011. You’re bound to be right one of these years.
“ A little too silent out there lately...”
Silence is golden, therefore , kblb must be golden. So sayeth Messiah Kim’s disciples. Ahhhmen.
If this is the best the competition can muster , a lame t-shirt that they can’t mass produce , then I’m feeling better for kblb.
“ If it’s dilution, it’s not likely to help the pps as much but will not hurt up listing..”
This is Kim we’re talking about. Of course it’ll be dilution.
Yeah that was a nice statement put out by polartec , conveniently timed to get the maximum sale price from Milken.
Proof of consistent quality in mass production and proof that the silk performs as they claim then yes , I agree the stock will pop. Simply announcing they made a delivery ? Nope , it won’t. If I recall , many claimed this stock would explode into the dollars once they get Vietnam’s approval and yet here it sits at 19 cents.
Kblb needs to prove they really have the holy grail and can consistently mass produce it. They also need to show they can profit from it. So far we’ve seen a lot of talk but have been shown nothing.
“ There will be a BIG freakin pop once that delivery is announced..”
No there won’t ; Not if that’s all there is to the announcement. It’s already expected and priced in. The announcement has to be more than a delivery of raw goods.
“Kim is a master at the art of obfuscation. “
Amen brother
Do you believe they would tell you whether things did not go well? Cmon. They always say things are going well, since inception. They never tell a shareholder bad news until many years later when it is no longer relevant and they fixed it. Always they say things are going well , when talking present tense.
We all apparently missed that news lol. No RS means no uplist then. Can’t have one without the other. At least not on the timeline Kim is pushing for.
Excellent post and agree. I think Kim is doing what you advise which is resisting the urge to release a fluff PR right now. At least I hope he is.
A fluff PR to me would have been to announce around Christmas that he’s shipped cocoons to be reeled. I suspect or at least hope he’s holding off on a PR until it‘s been delivered to the customer, where he can give details and more production news all at once. We don’t need play by play PRs that it’s being reeled or that it’s being tested in the U.S.
Wasn’t worth reading really. Nothing that other articles have not already said but if I can find it again I’ll post it here.
