“ Who cleans out the worm trays?”
Lol. That’s the only thing the company produces: worm poop.
Reverse split is imminent. See, two can play that game.
Not as far as CEO Kim is concerned. He went two years without updating shareholders on the status of commercialization from 2013 to 2015; think he won’t do it again ? He’s proven time and again that shareholders’ concerns are not his concerns.
Great post. Should be pinned.
Regarding: ““That’s the problem with what is being said...interspersing ones hopes and dreams with reality doesn’t work in the stock market.... “”
It reminds me of how every time there’s a mass shooting, many send their “thoughts and prayers” which is a cop-out and ignores reality. Thoughts and prayers don’t do anything for the victims and don’t stop the violence just like hope and dreams for kblb don’t deal with the reality that they’ve now failed multiple times to mass-produce.
You can believe all you want ; it’s a free country. One’s beliefs has no bearing on facts however.
Fanciful dreaming. Might as well close your eyes , click your ruby red slippers heels 3 times and say there’s no place like home. Just as effective.
Excellent post. Lmao.
“” It's fun to watch so many denigrate Kim as an idiot or a charleton or just a lazy bum who makes so many mistakes and can't seem to succeed.””
It’s more fun to watch so many worship CEO Kim as a god or deity who is going to lead the masses of his worshippers to Valhalla (aka the promise land of filthy riches). Doesn’t it say somewhere in biblical text “thou shall have no false gods or idols”. Lol
“ I believe in the technology and Jon Rice”
That’s a costly mistake made by many investors in KBLB imo. Believing. Having FAITH. KBLB is not some religious organization and Kim and Jon are not ordained ministers.
KBLB is a for-profit public company. As an investor, one should be demanding facts and proof. Not having “faith”.
Or maybe KBLB is a church and CEO Kim IS a god ? I don’t know if it’s coincidence but a lot of investors in kblb also are religious zealots.
KBLB does seem to have a CULT like following. KBLB does have a “compound” in Texas.
If Kim puts out a punch bowl in the next meeting , don’t drink it lol.
Great post. Especially :
“once the Chinese get going, they will flood the market with cheap spider silk...that's why the army deal was so important...the army wont buy from china...but kim screwed that all to hell.. “
Exactly. A buyout now would be disastrous.
Watching kblb is like watching the keystone cops. They should change their symbol to KRAP.
Nope. They haven’t proved it yet. Mass production is the missing link.
I can’t imagine anyone wanting to buy it at this point. The company is too high risk still. They have NOT proved capable of mass production.
Delusional is more like it.
Don’t confuse them with facts lol
Agree to disagree. No buyout this year. Company has a lot to accomplish first. Careful what you wish for as a buyout would surely be disappointing to many shareholders. At least the ones who could have should have sold at .50 cents but their greed kept them holding the bag. Company wouldn’t fetch more than .20 cents if sold today and even that is a pretty generous premium.
Won’t happen anytime soon. Kim has too much pride and he’s a control freak. It would be the prudent and smart thing to do : that’s why Kim won’t do it.
They are followers who can’t think for themselves. They just parrot what they think others are saying and are always just looking for the next idol to worship. Lemmings are more intelligent.
I suggest you go back and re-read what I wrote, only slower this time. I never said it was an epidemic or a pandemic in Vietnam. In fact , at only 8 infected , it is neither. I said the last thing those people need is one. See the difference ?
“ LOL's Just to let you know, the chances are less than 5% of dying from the Coronavirus, and the possibility of affecting KBLB are so remote that it does not pay to try and make it a reality”
Your facts are wrong. Chances of dying are variable based on many factors, some include country , age , existing health etc.
Your chances of dying from coronavirus in China , for example , are higher than in the U.S.
To make a blanket statement that one’s chances are less 5 percent is false and misleading. To say it cannot or won’t affect Vietnam’s workers and therefore won’t affect KBLB is also false and misleading. It could and it can. Whether it does , can’t be known at this point.
I’d hardly call 8 cases an epidemic either. I didn’t say they were in either. I said it’s the last thing the country needs (or any country , but especially Vietnam, which has long suffered)
This coronavirus could seriously impact their workers. I hope it doesn’t. Last thing that poor country needs after all it’s been thru is a pandemic.
I still suspect the moths may have come down with something besides the cold. If there WAS a worm disease that struck, they would not tell us. That would cause the stock to drop to a penny. Obviously they have been vague ; so as not to lie but also not tell the whole truth.
I wouldn’t be surprised for the “big name” in the closet to be another disappointment. I’ve got a very cheap Hawaiian shirt in my closet I use to cut my grass made by meinnoke. I’d be be pretty disappointed if it were them lol
Lol I love that analogy Mojo. Yes, BIG conference at Notre Dame. “We’ve achieved the holy grail ! When was that , 10 years ago ? Even ND lost patience. They’re lucky to have reached a settlement.
Gee, what happen to all the “go kblb” and “lol”’s or “know what you own” or “your money is good here”.
Like I said, gonna trade sideways in the .12 to 15 cent range for awhile until news.
I can tell you I didn’t know. I know nothing about worms. I count on the company having a clue.
I think he’s parsing customers from shareholders.
The problem is that if you look at the PR in Dec , Kim made it sound like everything was A-ok and they’d be shipping reeled silk soon when in fact they had to have known at that time they were looking at failure. As far as I’m concerned , it’s further evidence of Kim’s incompetence and/or dishonesty.
All of it could have been avoided if Kim was forthright with investors earlier about the chances of a “winter harvest” but instead he provided rose colored glasses for them to look thru. How hard is it to say “we are attempting a winter session but there are known risks. If he had done so , there would not have been the clear shock , disappointment , and crash to 9 cents that occurred.
I’m betting the Texas plot is now a Costco or Carmax.
The mulberry we are supposedly growing in Texas ? We haven’t had an update on that, for all we know it’s a parking lot now. Even if we are still growing mulberry in Texas, it’s not nearly enough for commercial use. I think it was meant to feed the worms in the labs for research.
What you highlighted in bold has not happened. The whole article is just click bait and you fell for it. Anyone can write a poorly researched article , as is the case here. Do you believe everything you read ? “Lol’s”
In the states? I don’t see that ever happening. The worms need fresh mulberry and lots of it. Too cost prohibitive for that reason and also the labor rate here.
Wish I shared your optimism. With kblb , one never knows. It could be news tomorrow or another few months of silence. What is consistent is Kim’s lack of good communication.
It would still take more than kblb has or will have this year. I don’t see a medical company going public with an announcement with kblb UNTIL kblb proves mass production. Otherwise it would be quite embarrassing for them if KBLB continues to fail.
I suspect you’re both right.
Uh oh. Trading at .14 now ! Down down down !
Sorry , I couldn’t resist lol. We will probably be stuck in a trading rang of .12 to .15 until next bit of news.
Exactly. Dilution. The uplist is dead for the time being. Not going to happen this spring. The R/S is not dead however. Notice how the company has passed on the opportunities to address the R/S elephant in the room ? Company has never been more desperate as now they are trying to sustain operations/ manufacturing without revenue. It was more manageable before as it was just r&d. Now, they are just bleeding from the jugular and need triage.
