bt48, did you happen to follow up on ATNM that I told you about?
When both issues were trading in the $5-6 range? Today was a $60,000 day for me which makes the pain I’ve endured here a tiny bit less painful. Maybe if they clean sweep the pitiful top management (and I use the term management loosely) CTSO can achieve a similar day of impressive gain. Time will tell. Not too late for the ATNM train!
Any cheerleaders with pom poms “backing up the truck” to take advantage of the outstanding opportunity today’s yearly low is providing? Oh, and before you accuse me of being a short, all I can say is “I wish!”
We’d probably be a lot happier if the glass was indeed only half empty, but at the moment it’s much less than that. Your unbridled enthusiasm is commendable. To put it in perspective can you give us a ballpark figure regarding your total investment here (not current value) in dollar terms; hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands, more? If I had, say $2k invested, I might be equally nonchalant. Set us straight please. BTW please don’t take his as a personal attack-it’s not. Just trying to understand how folks can defend this company and their abysmal performance.
Anyone here stupid enough to vote ‘yes’ “To approve, on an advisory basis, the compensation of the Company's named executive officers, disclosed pursuant to Item 402 of Regulation S-K”? Of course the BOD recommends ‘For’. How else can they continue to line their pockets at shareholder expense? I’ll vote ‘For’ if they convert at $10/share in the next 12 months but it won’t happen because they won’t see a dime in that scenario.
Anyone wanna take a stab as to when we breach $2/share?
They’re enhancing shareholder; are you blind? Isn’t that one of the primary functions of company officers and the BOD?
He’s probably being treated for severe depression and unable to process thoughts coherently.
“Although a majority of patients will achieve a complete response following a single infusion of CD19-targeted CAR-modified T cells (CD19 CAR T cells)2-4, the broad applicability of this treatment is hampered by severe cytokine release syndrome (CRS), which is characterized by fever, hypotension and respiratory insufficiency associated with elevated serum cytokines, including interleukin-6 (IL-6)”.
Goes on to state CRS can occur within days of T-cell infusion.
Ok, moron might not be the most appropriate descriptor. How about inept, lazy, incompetent, uncaring, not up to the task, indifferent, unmotivated, ineffective-did I miss any? Any idea what the purpose of the BOD involves? Goes something like this;
“ What Does a Board of Directors Do? In general, the board makes decisions as a fiduciary on behalf of shareholders. Issues that fall under a board's purview include the hiring and firing of senior executives, dividend policies, options policies, and executive compensation”. ON BEHALF OF SHAREHOLDERS!!
Can anybody here honestly say they’re meeting their obligations? If you’re happy with their performance all I can say is I have very different expectations. Share price is matching 10 year lows. Wouldn’t be surprised if SP reacts anemically when approved for DOAC removal due to BOD/mgmts poor track record.
If you can’t figure that out, you might want to get some help. And if you attribute yesterday’s 10% loss on so called shorts and manipulators you might want to mention that when you seek help. The days trading volume was nearly 3x average. That’s not Joe retail, it’s likely a large shareholder(s) saying “we’ve had enough of this”. I want this company to succeed as much or more than you. Just hoping we’re not flogging a dead horse.
I can’t believe my eyes, but I can believe my shrinking brokerage balance. Yet another “buying opportunity”. We’ve had a continuous stream of “buying opportunities”. Even if one only nibbled at these buying opportunities it would probably exhaust all the dry powder of those espousing said “buying opportunities”. Hoping this won’t go TU isn’t the best outcome before current trials are complete! Even the BOD’s must be thinking they themselves are complete morons, not to mention the top 3 or 4 company officers.
Been saying that for a couple years. People attempting to run the company (can’t call them management or leadership because they do neither and that would be an insult to those who do) are content with a prestigious title, a generous salary and yearly stock options. The Board of Directors is equally negligent, happy to collect compensation while sitting on their hands. All at shareholder expense. I’m with phantom, sell the company! At this point $10 would be a gift.
I can clearly remember when they initially announced the Fresenius collaboration. I was ecstatic thinking “this’ll jump start sales, here we go”. How naive, they’ve been nothing but a huge disappointment. There’s a reason no sales breakouts are given. It’d probably be too embarrassing for the people at the top (I can no longer use the term management because it’s misleading to potential new investors) to admit they were duped.
More like “any?” sales.
How many years before that bears fruit??
“CytoSorbents Provides Preliminary Third Quarter Business Update and Revised 2021 Product Revenue Guidance”. No news would have been better news; this is not good news! I’m taking a poll-anyone think now is a good time to get some cheap shares? They’re gonna be cheaper tomorrow. Unfortunately…
Another “buying opportunity”.
Only professionals or complete morons short stock. Short interest here is less than 5% of the float. Do you seriously think that’s enough to control the sp? I don’t. I’m an admitted amateur and once you learn to detach your emotions from investing you’ll be able to call yourself an amateur too. And if you think anything said on these stock “entertainment” forums has any bearing on sp you’re delusional. Research/input from a small # of posters might keep us better informed but has zero effect on the sp. Do you own any other stock or are you all in, pinning your hopes on CTSO making you a millionaire? Sounds like it or maybe your related to one of corporate folks you so vigorously defend. Bizarre at any rate. BTW I meant selling above $8, not $7. I’ll be paring my position on any strength here (it’ll happen eventually). This back and forth is over for me, good luck with your investment.
I think JGR was more on the money with the time stamp of 2030 for a $20 price target here. That’s if a competitor doesn’t beat them to the punch with their trademark snails pace performance.
Are you Pearsby? LMAO!!!
Can you say FOS?? Guess I own more shares than you but not for long. I’ll be selling some shares of this dog with fleas to buy a winner that’s performing now, ATNM (up 50% over the last 8 trading days). Doubt you’ll understand what they do but even if you did you’re so completely in love with this company and substandard mgmt you’d probably never part with any shares. Other frequenters of this board might be interested in making money without waiting 18 months. There’ll be plenty of time to buy back here when it grows out of its “dog with fleas” stage, possibly in about 12 months.
Can you say FOS??
I’m looking for numbers, not a Kamala Harris style answer to a simple question. I’m asking for your advice on number of shares to hold and the pps that will make me a millionaire in 18 months. BTW, can you tell me where I can get a pair of those rose colored glasses your sporting??
“Well yes that one, but also the one that will make longs millionaires within 18 months”. Can you provide some concrete details on how this will happen? Number of shares required, milestones reached (hard one for this management), projected sp timeline, etc? Of course I want to be a millionaire. TIA!
Another example of the care team waiting til the drain circling begins before initiating CTSO therapy; “hey this guys gonna die anyway, we should try that cytosorb thing”. Reason the sp has been stagnant all these years. Thankfully the NOAC reversal will be at the discretion of surgeons and not medicine types. It’ll save this stock.
I felt like playing the game this morning so I bought 1 share at $8 to counter the moron who sold 8@$7.55.
Been a lot of folks here saying for a long time Chan isn’t up to the task. Most people doing OJT (Chan) get better with time, not so in his case. BOD isn’t up to the task of getting the right people in place either. So here we sit near yearly lows. Ad nauseum….
Seems to me the bottom is in. If mgmt can run the STAR-T study on schedule (dicey proposition given their track record) we’ll all be smiling and wealthier by the end of next year. I think it going to be a steady trend up from here.
For all of our sakes I hope your and Chan’s rosie outlook pans out. If not you’ll get a taste of what the long term “pessimists” have dealt with quarter after quarter, year after year. As they say, “hope springs eternal…”.
If they knew then how incompetent management would be that investment probably wouldn’t have happened.
Probably out spending their “ money for nothing” pay.
The apologists are what they are. Probably never served in any type of leadership or managerial capacity. Have low expectations and in general like to be told what to do and just go with the flow. Anyone who questions/criticizes our pitiful “management” team is either a short seller or should sell their shares. Heaven forbid we should expect company officers to execute a business plan, keep shareholders informed and last but not least give a sh*t about the share price! Sad to say still don’t believe mgmt is up to the task.
128,000 shares traded by 3:55. Volume at the close 441,835 accompanied by -.13 for the day. Not an isolated occurrence lately. Could it be all the “shorties” that are all around?? I think not, more like a money manager fed up with mgmts wordmanship and lack of execution in general. It’s obvious full FDA T-STAR approval is far from “imminent” as stated by the good doctor. On a brighter note my conversion of CTSO shares into ARWR shares resulted in making money instead of losing more. Amazing RNAi story.
Audience member; “Dr Chan, could you please use the word ‘imminent’ in a sentence”? Dr Chan; “when I used ‘imminent’ to describe the timeframe for expected full IDE approval during the annual meeting, it is now clear I should have used another descriptor, maybe ‘forthcoming’ or simply ‘hopefully by the end of this quarter”.
Meanwhile the SP slides. Anyone think the two aren’t connected?
fantom, while I still own an inordinate amt of CTSO, I also own a bunch of ARWR and ATNM. ATNM is 75%enrolled in phase 3 trials with excellent results so far. Complete enrollment is “imminent” (lmao). Radioisotope conditioning for BMT in the sickest. ARWR in mRNAi sector; up today after Vertex yesterday announced phase 2 drug a flop for AAT deficiency (liver). Arrowheads drug very promising and a robust pipeline for numerous conditions. Both worth a little DD.
Wow, that was fast. Maybe there’s hope yet!!
“Thank you very much for your email.
I concur that meeting communicated expectations is of the utmost importance in maintaining management credibility.
I would say "imminent" is more equivalent to "soon" (that even jives with the Webster's Dictionary definition!) and obviously we haven't provided a definitive timeframe as it is outside of our control. Rest assured, we will communicate with the market when we receive full IDE approval as soon as regulations allow.
As I get up to speed on knowledge of the company and the sector, I would certainly welcome a conversation with you in the future. I do not ignore individual shareholders or investors.
Sincerely,
Terri Anne Powers”
Anyone here care to share their description/thoughts on the word imminent? Here’s Webster’s;
adjective: imminent
1.
about to happen.
"they were in imminent danger of being swept away"
Similar:
impending
at hand
close
near
approaching
fast approaching
I emailed Terri Powers and asked the same question with regards to its use in the annual meeting when talking about full IDE approval. I’ll be glad to share the response if one’s forthcoming.
My “longer time horizon” started in 2011. What’s 2 or 3 more years of having a large sum of capital sitting idle while the market marches upward? At least I’ve fallen out of love and am reallocating to better prospects. CTSO may produce outsized returns in a couple years so I’m betting I won’t miss the train until then.
How dare you criticize this “mgmt” team! Do you think it’s easy cutting your teeth by way of OJT (on the job training) as this mgmt group has been doing for over 10 years?? But hey, they live in a high cost area so they’re deserving of the options and pay raises the dim witted board has granted them. Great product, (still) rookie mgmt!
I would venture to guess that nobody was cheering about the K+ontrol news because it’s another “kick the can down the road” event, this time for 28 months. Mgmt has an extensive track record of kicking the can (can you say Hemodefend?).Too many frequenters of this board have held for a decade or more, always anticipating the next quarterly report and “inevitablel” great news and SP taking off. So the absence of cheerleading for another PR with a 28 month (unrealistic for this mgmt) lead time isn’t at all surprising.
I thought I heard them say it removed the virus which gave me pause. One of these days...
