Anyone know how many of these new acquisitions are profitable and how much revenue they will bring? TIA
OT: Fair enough! Now go spend more time with Mrs. SOG. LOL
SOG, how is Wal-Mart opening more superstores considered relevant DD to NEOM? Try cutting down some of these articles and you might just have more time to spend with Mrs. SOG.
That is what I'm trying to figure out too and no one has been able to answer that. My take is that those previous patents that were supposed to give us the bridge were "LOI's" only and not real until the latest approval today. LOL.
Can someone clarify why we needed to apply for this patent? I though our patent portfolio already covered barcodes? Are we going to get other individual patents that will cover rfid and voice activation too?
OT: At least it has gotten NEOM to #2 on the active boards. LOL.
OT: I don't think he has accused anyone of committing a felony. He just inferred some things that seemed logical. There are worse things said here.
It doesn't pay to license Scanbuy and let them sign up Verizon, etc., and steal our thunder. It's kind of like Microsoft giving Google the right to build their own Windows OS bridge and then having to compete with them for market share when they already have a monopoly. Neom can have that monopoly if it has the sole right to that bridge and why give someone else a license to build another one?
One of the PPT presentations shows that Cornell's shares sold year to date equal 3.2% of total volume traded. I thought someone here mentioned it was 3.2% of their total NEOM holding. If it's total volume traded then assuming there are 240 trading days in a year with average daily volume of 2.5 million, then 19.2 million shares will have been traded by Cornell this year. What is the significance of this or is it negligible? TIA.
Makes no sense why he can't educate the public AND also show them how to profit from this. It's not like he doesn't have a hidden agenda with all his not so subtle hints like THE NEXT GOOGLE! He just like the rest of us are here to make money and why beat around the bush. NEOM is by no means a sure thing and we need all the coverage we can get. The only explanation I can come up with regarding his "quiet period" on NEOM is that he's waiting for them to bring him on board, otherwise he's not giving it away for free.
OT: There are plenty of shares to go around for everybody. I would guess that 25% of the shareholders came courtesy of Tobin Smith and 50% through word of mouth.
Drmyke, thanks for the great recap! Aren't you glad you weren't snowed in? LOL.
I said you could still be correct about the quiet period rule not being applicable to NEOM. No argument there, but that could very well be just one example of you always defending whatever shortcomings NEOM may have. I don't ever recall you saying anything negative or critical about this company. Surely, nothing is perfect right now.
success, why do you keep on defending this quiet period rule as not being applicable to NEOM? Don't you want to see NEOM get out of it so we can finally hear what they have to offer? Look, you may still be correct about this quiet period rule but your posts in general always seem to err on the side of defending NEOM. That makes you less objective and more accepting of any shortcoming NEOM may have. IMHO.
Other than the fact that the PPS is tanking and management doesn't give a crap, I'm doing pretty well, thank you. LOL.
No offense but your Nurse Ratchett and that thorazine thing is getting pretty old around here.
I've never heard any of these "true longs" say anything negative or constructive about this company. Everything is bright and rosy.
"Blank check" is not a stretch at all! They have the option to grant themselves shares at one cent and that's pretty much a blank check. On top of that, it adds to the ongoing dilution.
There are various reasons why I'm holding on to this and you telling me to sell because I disagree with the options is simply wrong.
It doesn't say one cent but it can be one cent. In other words, it's a blank check for them.
Can someone show me the exact wording of the one cent options? I emailed Chucky yesterday inquiring about it and he asked me where I got that from. TIA.
Drmyke, it's not entirely wrong to assume that little or no progress has been made as long as they don't communicate with shareholders. With the last PR being over a month ago and knowing how stingy NEOM has been with PR's, it's probable that even if the quiet period ever ends some day, they may only tell us the minimum to satisfy their SEC requirement. I've never been in a stock where the company is using the quiet period as an excuse for not communicating, let alone a quiet period that goes on forever. That speaks volumes about their ability to get things done.
I hope those who are going to the SHM will grill them and not accept vague answers otherwise it defeats the purpose of going. At this point we may not know what we own.
Telling me to ask the longs here about you is a cop-out answer. Since you can't tell me what you have predicted correctly about NEOM then I'm just going to assume that you can't come up with any. With that I'm just going to end this here and spare you any more difficulty of having to defend your track record.
Fine. Forget about the points I was trying to make. They're wrong and useless. Happy now? Now just give us a few examples of your predictions that came true. TIA.
Too funny Wooger! Calling me a basher when I tried to make a few valid points. With 473,000 shares I'm hardly a basher. I'm still waiting to hear about your predictions that came true.
Please enlighten us with a few of your predictions that have actually come true? All those questions you posted have to do with things we are fully aware of or expecting to happen. Geting 50 emails each time you have done DD doesn't prove anything other than that you're a great pumper and nothing more. Your invisible track record speaks for itself.
Shouldn't 4 months be enough time? It isn't like they are closing deals and signing contracts left and right that there's not enough time allocated to get Mobot done. If they're that busy then we don't know about it cause we haven't heard a thing from them.
I will do the same with my 473,000 shares. They don't deserve anything until they close some deals and generate real revenues.
Can't be the latter because he's been wrong too many times.
There was some talk about a funny feeling for something to happen this week. For some funny reason I'm not feeling it.
I can only base my opinion about them being incompetent from what I see or hear until they prove otherwise. Either they are incompentent, indifferent, or arrogant with the way they promote NEOM. Take your pick. Fact is we don't know what goes on behind closed doors and you can connect all the dots you want. All I need is for them to open their mouth and make some noise once in a while. What part of "talk to us" do they not understand??
It's always the same story, quiet period this and quiet period that. They just seem too passive and aloof with their stance and that leaves us all in the dark. Regardless of what big picture they see, we deserve to know what goes on.
Read my post again. I didn't say that they're incompetent people, just imcompetent in their ability to bring NEOM to the media.
You can never accuse NEOM of promoting itself, just the opposite, and there's nothing wrong with promoting either. Why don't you people just stop making excuses for management's incompetence on the PR front.
Once the Mobot deal is closed he may not even talk about Mobot by name only because it's a part of NEOM. LOL. Like I said, he might also have invested in SCAMBUY as well.
Well there's only one PP and we need him to say the magic word. LOL. On second thought he may also be an early investor in SCAMBUY. How else would you explain him giving SCAMBUY more attention than NEOM??
NEOM management doesn't give a damn about what shareholders think. If they do, they certainly have a funny way of showing it.
Not only are NEOM and TS in a quiet period, the same can be said for the PP too! I see no benefit of him not mentioning NEOM by name in his blog. Isn't he an early shareholder of NEOM?? We need all the exposure we can get at this point because I'm tired of seeing other companies getting all the attention for what we think is ours. Getting cute with his secretive "The next Google" message may backfire if one day someone else brings forth a better product to the market because NEOM is late to the game. For crying out loud, PP!! Just say it!! Just say NEOM is the next Google!!!
Just an observation. PP mentions Mobot by name in his blog but not NEOM. I wonder if he will still do that once the Mobot deal is finalized.
Not to read too much into their tiny investment in NEOM, CalPers has $167.6B in net assets.
