I thought you had a nutty idea, but check out Alcoa's ancient commercials ("Alcoa Can't Wait!) on YouTube and if this Company ever figures their way, paint this concept, only substituting BMG for aluminum and Liquidmetal for Alcoa. Far-fetched, at this point? Yes! Just don't put Otis Bucanan in those commercials! Yikes!
Yes, VERY CHOICE!
With all due respect, Sykes has picked so many losers lately if you're not on the inside early on one of his "picks," you're losing money! He's already failed NUMEROUS times on his LQMT "pick," while hailing a "turnaround."
As for Lugee, had ZERO to do with Abdi Mahamedi, although Steipp doesn't get all the credit either! As it is, Mahamedi may very well be on his way out!
Nothing means NOTHING until they get the alleged 55 mill! Who cares about who introduced whom if they don't get the funds!
Time to water the daisies! Have a great weekend!
Correct!
I'm fully aware! My point is it's not like drawing money out of your ATM or a $500 western union to a foreign country. Thanks!
Great find on the deal! Any insights on the 55 mill? Thanks!
Don't blame you for severe skepticism, but do you have any idea about the Chinese money transfer laws about getting in excess of 50,000 out of China or US rules regarding transfers in/out of China? If they get 55 mill in within the 90 days, it will be a major/minor miracle! The thing is, they have until Aug 15th to report, absent an extension, and can schedule the c.c. when they want, or not at all, so why subject yourself to interrogation on the 55 mill in the interim, of the deal is not complete? But then again, maybe they like abuse! Or they just don't think at all!
Anyhow I want the money reported! Talk is cheap!
Very interesting thoughts! I'm not sold on Materion as a long-term valued partner either. And people understandably complain about Steipp, but Hipple is certainly not doing a lot to enhance shareholder value for the owners of Materion.
So do you think that means the money is in? If they got this money and deal to go through before 90 days, with the Chinese money transfer laws and the US stringent transfer laws, it would be a miracle. And that's not even considering the logistics of adding 2 board members, subtracting one and potentially changing titles of board members. Thanks for that info!
OK! Thanks! Looks like you're in the green already! That's great!
Ugh, I hear ya! Have a great weekend! I need the break to!
I wondered about that. I think with 99% of penny stocks failing after a run, it makes a lot of sense, if you only have the ability to naked short. However, if you plug in the top 10 ihub stocks into your source, you'll see almost all of them being heavily naked shorted. Some of them as high as 99% short - daily!!! On 100's of millions of shares traded! And at prices of .000+'s!
I don't understand the risk of a naked short in a penny because all you need is one crooked market-maker to manipulate and you're looking for the nearest corner to sing songs for pocket change! Better off putting it under a mattress, lol...unless you have connections to a market maker who has shares...hmmmm...
Thanks for that data. Very interesting!
Just a FYI, that's actually from the day before. They were already on their weekend yesterday morning. Wish I was to!-

China is 9 hours ahead from my locale. I made that mistake a couple of times also!
That's a great point that is often easy to forget. Lugee is putting in 63 mill. I think he's going to want a lot of say in operations, along with 3 Board seats. However, there's no counting on that until the other 55 Mill is wired in from China! I'll believe it when I see it!
It's going to be very interesting to see how Steipp and Lugee work together, if at all! No unicorns here!!!
Haha, funny! If they do move there, I wonder if they will have a better spread for the next ASHM, though! Hope so!
But maybe Lugee likes to shop instead of talking "shop"! Somehow, I don't think so!
Have a great day!
Not a good thing if you're a shareholder in Eon. Did you see their competitors, Ye Chiu and Zhuzhou Smelter?

And the meteoric Hibei Sitong finally had some upside after topping at 120CY on July 11 and now at 83CY yesterday.
Ugly out there in the Shenzhen markets!
With all due respect, what does the activity of the Shenzhen markets, broadly, and Dongguan, in particular, have to do with LQMT though? Thanks in advance!
Thank you for the compliment, but I wish I was "smart" lol.
Truthfully, I don't believe in "rainbows," unicorns, or other fits of fancy, but I just think that if information is incomplete, it can be misleading - either way - and it starts to lose its relevancy and meaning; that's my only point.
If I posted Eon on a big up, but all others in its industry are up, it has no meaning. I don't really think, at this point, anyway, that Eon has meaning at all for LQMT, except for Lugee cashing out in presumption he is taking advantage of the rare government opportunity to sell, to fund LQMT, but that could be totally wrong. He may just be cashing out to have one heck of a party no one would ever forget! See my point? Not negative, not positive - just both sides.
Have a great day!
I don't really see it meaning anything. Just like when Eon was flying. If there is relevance, it'd be great to learn it, though!
Interesting chart, because on one of the "highest" volume days on 7/18, one of the lowest naked short percentages occurred. And the very next trading day, the lowest recent naked short percentage occurred. That short percent you referred to from yesterday is $15,000.00 - that's it.
Traditionally, as I'm sure you know, penny stocks are subject to heavy naked shorting by small-time investors.
Interesting chart, but when you consider light volume, small dollars, and how heavily all penny stocks are shorted, it seems difficult to reconcile relevancy. Just my two cents. Thanks for posting that. Very interesting!
Have a great day!
I saw that! Chinese manufacturers still taking it on the chin!
Their high-flying competitor, Hibei Sitong off almost double Eon's loss of 2%. Hibei lost 3.6%!

And Ye Chiu off 10%!! Yikes!!!

Agreed, nice thought, but I don't see it either. Maybe after they have 55 million on their financial statement in cash, but until then, unless they get a serious contract, I really don't see it either, although I hope they're right!
Thank you for the compliment, but I don't know about doing anything well, lol.
I'm not trying to get one "up" on anyone. I'm just thinking it's important to have complete information. It think it's more than OK to speculate negatively (although I wouldn't hold a stock I have no hope for), but I don't think it's fair to anyone not to have as much information as possible, but that's just my opinion. That information wasn't really false, it was just very micro and isolated to Eon when the whole industry got hammered. Thanks! Have a great day!

Those are just 2 of their similar industry companies, with similar market caps, but if you scroll down, you'll see they ALL got hammered last night. Crazy, right?
I guess it doesn't really mean anything if they ALL took it on the chin!!! Just my neophyte interpretation.
I wonder if this is more major shareholders pulling out or the Chinese market followed the U.S. selloff. I think the latter if you're considering a macro point of view, which when you consider the broader Chinese market sell-off, it appears to make sense instead of just Eon falling.
Double-checked - although China manufacturers got hit especially hard, the Chinese markets were off 2% overall! Yikes!

Anyhow, have a great day!
Gandalf?
Anyhow, OH NO!!!

Meaning? Nothing. Just like it tanked when Lugee was selling.
http://www.wsj.com/articles/china-stocks-slide-as-selling-ban-due-to-expire-1460008002
Want to read something really
interesting, though, check out how hard it is to get $$$ out of China. $50,000.00 is pretty much the max, but Lugee is allegedly moving out $55,000,000.00 after taking advantage of a government selling opportunity. Lugee would likely have to have some high level Chinese government connections to swing that transfer if it gets done.
Based on recent Chinese market activity, it looks like major shareholders may be locked up again. Talk about inefficient markets in the U.S. (smh)
Make it a wonderful day!
Thank you for the welcome!
No, all new. Been watching, and researching, this company for too many years and thinking this deal may have finally put them over the top. Just looking to join in on the fun and kill some boredom!
I'm sure your historical posts are more than worthy, and a great read, but with all due respect, looking forward and not backward. Good luck!
I don't think Tim Cook trades penny stock.

And it fell to .145 on a nothing trade. Whoop de do, let's have a wiggly party!
I agree. What's the big dealio with a $14.00 trade?
