HOLLAND IS HAPPENING!
Talked to Company.
Tuesday was the closing date of the financing for the Holland project! Financing is complete! They actually pulled it off!! This project is moving forward and he said that they have plans in place to get things turned around!
I have always been a big supporter, but have to admit that I have had my doubts over the last year, but man this is fantastic! They did not give up and they are now going to build an amazing project! Very Happy for them.
Interesting. Thought this was dead.

I am sure that someone knows something. But I don' think it will have anything to do with the K coming out. If you follow the deals that they have done, other than the two in the US and those two don't generate anything yet, all of the acquisitions are mega leveraged with expensive money. Corporate borrowings are also expensive. So, I would not expect to see any kind of earnings. it might be interesting to see if there are any revenues to speak of.
I see that they are at the Gabelli conference in New York. Amazing to me that they have been invited. Gabelli typically is not a follower of tiny little companies like this. Maybe some kind of insights can come out of that conference.
Hi Hystart. Like I had mentioned before. My friend is not close to the company. He just has gone to some of the company presentations and has a little more insight I suppose.
Maybe you are right.
But i would read a little closer before making such a statement.
Hystart. No he is not working for the company. He was at one of the presentations that the CEO gave about a week ago.
This is "unfortunate" good news. It is unfortunate because they had to withdrawal at all. But good news because they really should have withdrawn a long time ago.
Bottom line is this. Their current assets do not cover corporate overhead. No mystery here and it would be a couple more years before these assets even get close.
With that being said. They do need to continue to raise money and complete or buy new projects. Again no mystery.
The issue is this. If they would have completed the up list and financing when they first filed, we would be having a very different conversation. But they did not. So now that up list and financing is off the table. Stock price wont allow for the up list and even if it would, it would be really dilutive.
I agree with War Machine. I hope they can put a small financing together that will get them to a couple more milestones. Maybe this could rebound the stock and then they can do a proper financeing at the higher value.
Of course, when people try to sell 50 shares at 1.30 they don't exactly help things. With the spread being so big right now and volume being dead, it is hard to get the stock moving when people are selling to raise lunch money.
Some of these trades are so small that they fee might cast more than the trade.
Hard to know what their next move might be, but from what a buddy of mine told me, they are not dead yet. The CEO has been in meetings in New York for the last two weeks. They are up to something. At this price it is going to be painful.
K Should be out in March i would assume. Won't tell us much since i am sure they are not cash flow positive yet based on everything we already know.
Something happend with the up list deal and that is what really dragged this down.
Maybe I will call and see what they have to say. let you all know if I learn anything.
"Just with renewable energy and making money from it"?
Wait a minute, aren't you the guy that keeps telling us all that you CAN NOT make money from this space? Pretty sure you said that they are all BLACK HOLES.
Now you are saying that you are making money from it?? You may be full of shit, but at least you are entertaining.
"Why does it change so rapidly when there is not public news. Smells Bad". Are you kidding.
If you are asking this question, you clearly have no experience in the OTC markets.
Ah, sorry. Love sarcasm. Hard to tell here. You are right. Good news or bad news. We only go down.
At least it is consistent.
PBA. What don't you like about yesterdays news?
This is fantastic news! It shows that they are once step closer to getting started on constructing the project in Holland. Remember, they needed to get started by a certain date to keep the grant. Formally singing the EPC and O&M agreement show that this is moving forward. This is great stuff.
But as usual with this company, people scream for news and then when we get news nothing happens.
Tell us something we don't know.
Yes, this is typical of small companies. We all know this, or at the very least should all know this.
The have to raise more money. We know this too.
My perspective maybe a little different. I look back three years. EVERYTHING with Blue Sphere was a MAYBE. Now they actually have a business. May be struggling business, but that is not a big concern for me right now. I am not under any illusion that this should be a profitable company at this point. Who would think this?
If you go back lets say 5 years. People were buying the Blue Sphere dream. They paid a heck of a lot more than the stock is trading for now. Then, all they had was an idea. Now they are executing. Might be sloppy. Might take years to make money on the current projects or maybe never make money on the current projects. But they are building on each little success.
So far, I still like these guys. Painfully sometimes, but I have not bet my life on them either. Just one position of many. Hopefully, everyone is at least a little diversified.
Well then we have a big problem.
At this price, there will be no up listing.
FWIW i hope they continue to release news about any progress they are making or updates they have.
Really?
I keep reading you post and I keep getting back to the same thing. Why are you here?
You claim to be in AD yet you keep talking about how it is a failing business. So why are you in that business?
And, if you are in that business, why would you put down the business that you are making a living from? Little confused about how you work in business that is "not making money"?
Maybe you work for a firm that provides technology or services to the industry? That would mean that someone is buying your services or technology. Why would they do that if this industry is doomed as you say?
Have you actually talked to Blue Sphere lately? Looks to me like they may agree with some of your claims.
Almost all of their pipeline is outside of the US and with technologies other than AD. Maybe they know what you know too?
As for their AD projects. You said it yourself. Buying failed developments can be a good investment. Maybe this is what they are doing? Their CEO even mentioned something like this in their last PR.
Listen, I and a lot of folks on the board are very frustrated and even angry with blue sphere, but those of us who have read their reports and talked to the company, know that the managers of blue sphere are not getting rich on blue sphere stock or what salary they are paying. So they must be doing this for a reason that has a longer horizon for success.
Clean-Tech is not going away. Waste will still need to be eliminated around the world. I am betting that this is a global industry that will see its better day. Maybe these guys will make it and maybe they wont. The good news for me, is at any point that I feel that they are dead, I get to see my shares. Or maybe i wont be able to. I am just betting that i will.
Are you are BLSP shareholder? If so, why did you buy the shares if you have all of the answers and know what you know? If you are not a shareholder, then why are you here?
By the way, your take on the article you posted was pretty misleading. There was equally as much positive information there as negative.
News Today!
Nice press release! Forward movement!
OK Mr. Shortseller. We will listen to you.
Are you kidding me?
First of all the two plats that they "own" in the US have only been recently completed or are nearing completion and from what I can se are still in the ramp-up phase. Secondly, they only own a minority position in these plants. Everyone is always so bent out of shape about the two US plants. I say, who cares. Those plants were a development play. They did the development got all of their money reimbursed, got paid a huge fee for developing the plants and then on top of that were given a equity position in the projects. Pretty amazing if you actually read and look at the projects for what they are.
So they take there development fee and go out and start to build a business. Oh, by the way. So far all of the other AD that they have bought or are developing is outside of the United States. In fact, IF You READ, the vast majority of their pipeline is outside of the United States. So I don't know what your posts are for other than to scare people.
I think everyone needs to stop thinking about BLSP like some giant company. They are the a small struggling company that have been able to make a few things happen. IF they can get some good backing, they will do very well. If you do some homework, you would find that there are a bunch of companies like BLSP that are doing very well. The problem for people like us is that they are private companies. So BLSP is pretty much the public play if you want to be in wast to energy. Other than Covanta of course. Renewable Energy and I would bet that waste to energy is not going away. Most likely will only increase even if only as a way to get ride of waste. I think this alone is really important!
If you think that BLSP is a US only play than you have not read anything about the company at all. One of the best things about them is that they are not in one country.
I will say it again. These guys have made plenty of mistakes and sometimes I wonder why I am in this stock at all. But, I personally feel that this space will find its footing and if these guys can tough it out, this could be a winner. Remember some key points. York Capital, the guys tat financed the US plants and paid these guys a giant fee and gave up equity are not idiots. THey saw something in these guys. Lazarus, who is the largest shareholder that I can see is not running for the hills. What do they know? And how about the Dutch Government? Do I really think that they would hand out a grant for over $150million dollars if the company that I was giving the grant to were not up to snuff?
I can be totally of on this stuff. But I think these guys will make it. Good news here is that if I did not, I would just get out and move on.
First of al, what the heck is a Gain Agreement?
Two, They updated us on the up-listing two weeks ago in a press release.
Three, "what part(s) are deficient"? Really? Have you noticed the stock price?
Are far as the new PR stuff. What don't you call and ask? I did. Shlomi and Matthew were in Europe two weeks ago meeting with new investors and all of last week they were in the US with the new PR firm doing a roadshow. So in the two weeks since these guys were hired, they company has been on the road and has release two press releases. So I am not sure what you mean be STILL quiet.
Two press releases in two weeks. So far this week there has not been one, but aren't you the guy who said they only want PR with "meat on the bones" or something like that?
And oh, buy the way, even when they do put out big news, nothing happens. Think about it, even the last release. It was actually pretty great news. It reminded people about the huge grant in Holland and the huge off take agreement as well, while pointing out that they are another step closer to starting construction with they positive report from their engineering firm. This is really important. But what happend, Nothing.
I know we are all down bad on this one, but, at least lets be a little real. These guys have just restarted their marketing and it will take more than a week or two to get going. Let's see what happens.
I am one of the most frustrated investors in this stock and I hate being the "positive" one on these boards and there are times that I just want to scream, but I keep getting back to valuation. Look at what they have. Do an analysis. It is pretty much impossible to come up with a value that is less then say $6 per share. There is a lot these guys need to do to get back on track and from talking to the company, for sure, but I feel that they will.
My biggest fear is that they get sucked down the rabbit hole. Stuck in micro-cap hell. Companies like this need to raise capital. These guys are not going to be able to do this until the stock moves up a little. OR there are going to do it at prices that we would all rather not see. Either way, at this valuation, it is a reasonable bet that it can move up from here. I am just trying to average down as much as I can to be in the best position.
Sorry for the rant. Just frustrated.
HOLLAND.
Looks like the Holland project is one step closer to construction start. Engineering firm signed off on site.
Press Release today!
Nice!
My bet is on the guy buying.
LOL
Are you kidding? They raised $4.5M in that time frame. Guess what? They are going to continue to raise money. Just like any early stage company. If you think they can grow with out raising fresh capital, then you are really dreaming. Even more than I am dreaming about this company being a home run. Only difference is that my dream has a shot.
I hear you. I tend to think it is you first suggestion about the MM.
If they are worse off then the filings show, why is the biggest shareholders holding on to their shares?
Also, this is getting dripped down on very little volume. People just willing to sell because they are scared. Makes no sense to me, but what do I know?
I think they should just give us all a bunch of shares for the pain
Don' think they could pull off another reverse. I think that there is more than price in the calculations for the up list.
I think there needs to be a certain number of shares or shareholders and then the float needs to be a certain value. If they reversed again, I think that would disrupt the apple cart.
This is crazy.
I just called Blue Sphere and talked to their guy Matthew. i told him how frustrated and angry we all are about this stock. You know what he told me. So is he.
My reaction was to get mad and i did. I said, well do something about it!
He said you mean besides, buying a new plant in italy, or getting a grant for 150 million euros plus an off take agreement for another 55million euros or finally having a positive shareholders value or showing positive earnings or refinancing the first four italy plants?
I said point taken.
He said these are just some of the things that have been reported in an 8K. He said remember the pipeline of projects? Well they are still working. They are not siting on the sidelines. He said that there is a lot of activity at blue sphere and that now they are talking again we would be hearing about their other activities.
Maybe I should ask if they can do a conference call? What do you guys think?
How can we?
Every time someone puts a decent amount of shares on the bid, someone dumps.
The smart guys is the one putting in the lowball bid. He or she has been watching the trends on this one.
No patients here Let these bidders move up their number before you sell. We could get going in the right directing with little volume if we are a little more clever.
This whole quiet period has killed us. Now that they are "talking" again, I think there can be some movement. When you think about it, based on the filings, these guys are in the best position they have ever been in.
Too bad OTC investors are only looking for quick hits. Hard for them to get their head around a company that builds things that take a few years to come online.
Just look at the balance sheet now verses six months ago. Big difference.
Big projects in pipeline. If these guys ever get properly funded it is such a home run. But at these prices, it is hard to get proper funding.
Still think this is a crazy good deal that these prices based on fundamentals. No way the whole company is worth less than one of their projects on its own. But who looks at fundamentals right? We want good old fashioned fluff to get us excited.
I have such a love hate thing going for this company.
Press Release.
Did you guys see the press release? BLSP has hired an outside IR firm. Looks like the silence may be coming to an end. I sure hope so!!
The Bid
By the way. Look at the bid. Not 100 shares. Not 500 shares. But 5000 shares. Someone want to accumulate at a really cheap price. Just waiting for some desperate seller to buy cheap. Why spend almost $9,000 for something that is going to die? This stock makes me crazy.
Like news makes a difference with this company. Do we really need some fluff pice of nonsense from the company to understand what they are doing? Look at the filings. Based on the filings, and the filings are what is really going on, this company is doing better than ever.
But apparently, we all need some fluff BS to think that they are doing something more that what is there. Good news or bad news this thing just keeps going down. I will keep saying it, there is nothing to justify this market-cap.
Funny how the largest shareholder has not sold any shares. I guess all of the people selling know better. So frustrating!
Well said! "undervalued" is so spot on!
This is excellent!
This is on top of the grant!
Now if we can get people excited about these guys again. They seem to be moving forward regardless of whatever road bumps they are dealing with concerning up-listing.
ciitoyen. i don't disagree with you at all. i am just trying to point out that we are not really in the dark. The S1 is what investors would look at. the 8Ks are what investors would look at. Three is a powerpoint up on the company website. Looks like the only stuff that is not out there are the more speculative things that generally come with a PR. Now granted, I would love to hear about some of the future stuff as much as anyone. I am just trying to point out that this thing is really undervalued even if we are only ale to go by what has been filed. You do make a good point. would be nice to get the price back up before doing another raise. That is for sure. This is what I was suggesting by putting off the current financing if they can. I am just trying to pick up as many shares at this price as I can. Really is helping to lower my average by a lot.
Boy do I agree with you.
These guys could have dumped shares many times over. I mean, they are a fund after all. They show gains and losses in terms of %. If they thought that there is nothing here, they could have sold at any price. That would give them a smaller % loss. But they did not sell.
They are holding on to this for some reason and I totally agree, they know much more than we do about the inner workings of BLSP. This is one of the reasons that I am not so stressed at this point.
I am Frustrated, just not too stressed.
Why is that a question at all?
Should everyone that finances assets at the project level invest directly into the company?
This look like a great deal. Basically this fund is paying for half of the project but only getting 38.5% of the equity. Sound pretty good to me!
The real question is, with the company seemingly moving forward regardless of what is happening with its move to NASDAQ and the price being as low as it is; why are we not all buying as many shares as possible? The best argument that I am hearing for not, is because there are no press releases.
Yet, there are 10Q's, 8K's and S1's that seem to be telling a pretty nice story.
I will say it again. This company is worth much more than the market cap!
I saw that somebody made a post saying that they are "hiding behind the quite period".
Hiding from what? That they are buying more plants? Common!?!?
I hope these guys figure out this financing thing soon, or maybe even just scrap it if they are able to.
It would be good to have the CEO or somebody do a conference all get this back on track.
You know. I have been feeling the same way. But I have to admit, I still think that there is something going on here.
Ok, so we have had no press releases. Lets ask why. The company says it is because they have been advised by legal. They are in a quite period.
Based on the filings, I think this is probably pretty accurate. They have continued to file s1 registration statements. This means that they are trying to do a financing and because of this they are not able to say anything that is outside of the filings to the general public. This makes sense.
The problem is, when the hell are they going to complete the financing???? I ask the IR guy. He says they are as anxious to complete this as any of us and that they wished that they could bring everyone up to date with the different things that are gong on. But in the mean time, there is much to be positive about. I said really? He said sure, just look at the filings. So I did. He may be on to something.
1) The last 10Q shows great progress. for the 3 months ending June 2017 they went from negative 2,812,000 in revenues for that time in 2016 to a positive 6,076,000 for the same time in 2017. For the 6 month ending June they went from negative 6,693,000 in revenues for that time in 2016 to a positive 4,095,000 for the same time in 2017. They also went from a negative shareholders equity in December 2016 to a positive shareholders equity in June 2017 of 6,401,000. This is really great!
2) Charlotte and Rhode Island are now operating.
3) They closed on 4,500,000 in equity financing.
4) Based on the last 8K they just closed on another plant in Italy. And it looks like they bought it for a far better price than they paid for the first acquisitions in Italy.
Lets not forget that at the end of the year they received a grant for the Holland project of something like $150,000,000!!
He said to me 'ask yourself a question". "With all of these things going on, do you really think that we would not want to be screaming at the top of our lungs if we could?"
I have to agree. There is something more here than meets the eye.
I asked him if price of the stock is keeping them from completing their up-listing. He said he could not comment on issues surrounding the up-listing other than to say that a certain price must be met.
That really sucks!! But like I have said before, can anyone really say that this company is only worth 8,000,000???? I mean common. Press releases or no, these guys seem to be marching forward and making things happen even without the up-list financing.
My personal opinion is that they forget about the up-listing for now. Bring us all up to date. Start telling their message again and let the price meet the real value. Or at least something close to it because this is crazy. They market cap is something like 1.2x this last quarters earnings or 2x the 6 month number. That is just nuts!!
I know you guys think I must be crazy, but this is information right out of the filings, not exactly on the come.
Well that is my rant for the day.
Just curious. Who did you ask? I know that I have asked questions and they have been answered by a guy name Matthew.
Totally agree!
Have you all looked at the Q?
Went from negative net worth to positive net worth and from losing money to making money.
looking like they have turned a corner. Big time!
I don't think so guys. We have not seen a new S1a since they completed the $4.5m I think that we will see that before the deal will happen.
They just bought two more plants in Italy! Connected to the grid in Rhode Island. Completed a financing round This is all great news!!
Really great news.
Dilution argument is BS. Italy assets alone are worth more than total Market Cap even after the "dilution".
With RI being turned on the company now has a positive SHV.
I guarantee you that this company will continue to raise money. The only issue is this. At what point is the capital purely going towards assets and value creation? Once the company has no need to raise capital for "burn", then they can raise all they money they want for all I care.
Not sure what you are looking at. The financial statements do show revenues. The four plant is Italy are operating. Charlotte was turned on, but they are still in the ramp up. I think they are finished with that anytime now, Rhode Island just connected to the grid. Not sure what you mean exactly.
