it says for an acquisition right in the release
so Altitrade, to put you in a position of knowledge to cast aspersions on “Willis’ character and integrity”, how many times have you met him? The guy is a family guy with kids - do you know him at all?
i agree - give the guys a little credit. they have made all of the investors money
i think his family is in Michigan - and Menards are in every corner there. so we can get negative and personal on Willis all day long - but none of us actually know. we just like to be negative because it’s easy, we can do so with no consequences, and we are not the ones in the hot seat actually running the Company
an uninformed, negative non-investor and merely a disgruntled fired former employee with an axe to grind. don’t waste your time engaging
management is actually blacked out as they are within 20 days of q1. board members have a slightly different test, so willis could not buy shares even if he wanted to. sorry to confuse everyone with a few facts
i’m not sure anyone on this board has run a public company, nor knows the pluses and minuses, difficulties or complexities of it. never thought this was a short term investment and doubling in size over past year with the brand and distribution they now have is decent progress by anyone’s measure. the 10k report said there are 162 employees - i think it’s about all 162 of them - not one two or three people. we can all monday morning quarterback here from our couches - it’s probably different than the team doing the actual work day to day.
once again - no facts, no logic, no evidence. Just negative, illogical conjecture - that just doesn’t help any investor
it was right at the company 18 months ago for continuity. now it’s a different co. c ence though from everything i hear is fully in place
agree it’s news, but the news is that they are will to do whatever it takes to be as lean and focused as possible to deliver - and are willing to make tough choices to do it
It’s not news - as it is normal course of business. the company has moved on from a low profit, family run distributor in 16 to a very different company that is more complex, more brand led, and global that needs different skill sets and people. they are clearly not afraid to make tough choices.
referring to run’s post purporting to have info in why and how new age gained the CVS expansion - run’s assertions are just not true - again
this is simply just another straight out lie from Run. for the moderator of this board - it really should not be allowed to continue. there are probably 2-3 people inside new age that know if any slotting was required, and not one person in the company that would know anything about any competitive different offer. that kind of information just is not available or ever communicated - even if it did hypothetically exist.
there has to be consequences for this continued behavior.
what goes unmentioned - irrespective of Run hating Willis, is the fact that the Company has >160 dedicated and capable people focused on winning and all confident in a plan - vetted and crafted in large part by a Board of Directors that is very accomplished and not easily fooled
there are only 8-9 grams of sugar in Bucha Kombucha. that compares to 6 to 7 times that in soft drinks and other beverages. some kombucha as have 6 grams - but those companies have both been fined (gt and Kevita) for lying about their sugar content
if you have information about misleading information it is your duty to report it to the SEC. if you are spewing BS as usual based on no knowledge, facts, or insight whatsoever, best to take your trash bags and your clothes back to the street corner
revenue growth, cogs improvement, opex reduction, positive ebitda. so disappointing.
once again Run, no idea what you are talking about, no idea of terms, just another unhelpful negative comment based on no knowledge whatsoever
and how would you have any earthly idea what the financial terms of the distribution arrangements were or are. you dont. no clue. if you have something logical or fact based to contribute please do so. otherwise - grow up
short article anonymous sl nor run have any idea about the company's fundamentals, operating performance, and they fail to realize that the company has 150 people, many with more 20 years of depth of experience, many that are very smart bev industry guys. this is not a company about willis, one one person, and anyone that things new age is a 'roll up strategy' has no idea what's going on in the company
there is no miss whatsoever. there is just no understanding of normal bev co seasonality on this board. growth is actually tremendous and the co is completely different and way way way stronger than it was 6 months ago
perfectly articulated and 100% accurate. well done NJM
The philly sugar tax affects mostly carbonated soft drinks. the good news is consumers still drink 64oz of beverages a day - and they move from CSD's to healthier options - like the nbev portfolio
lots of conversation on the ipo price on here .... given the expectation of current retail investors....contrasted with the reality of what institutional investors will do and how they operate. 1) the company got $15 mil cash - that's huuuge 2) the company now has no debt - just a 3.5% line of credit - that's huuuge 3) the company now has super long term major 5+ year holding institutions behind it - that will fund anything they need in the future - that's huuuge. Yes - it came at a cost - which for anyone in the ipo market today - knows is the current cost of money with these kinds of quality institutions that basically paid 2x historical revs of $50mil. that's very aggressive for them. now with the $, and the right financial foundation - that they never had before - even though they had to take a slight step back to get it, the firm needs to just execute, to get to a very different revs and profits and share price level in the future. so - the focus is on how to deliver big big big return year on year, vs. week to week linear growth.
r4c is not an investor in NBev or anything for matter, and has no money to invest. he is a disgruntled former employee that was fired so pay no attention
the previous CFO passed away on thursday. everyone should be a little respectful.
talking rain is $659 mil. I heard the company internal target is $400 mil in 3 at 20% profit - but to get to largest they prob have to be a bil. they are in the top 60 of non alch bev companies worldwide now - but want to be much bigger
lol - very creative njm
