I think most people don't believe in any reward. Just words.
You should read about the history of this company for the last two years (not two months). Its lost a lot of people a lot of money: http://ragingbull.lycos.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=MTDN&startfrom=112.
Maybe it was spite and anger why it was so soundly defeated.
In the long run you should be ok. It could be quite a roller coaster ride.
Some people think that nothing is wrong and that there just counting and verifying the votes. Others think there're stalling because of bad news.
We'll know soon enough.
I was surprised someone would put that much in a pink sheet stock.
Some of the people who invested last year - if the price ever gets to 3.125 will be down 70% fron their original investment:
http://ragingbull.lycos.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=MTDN&read=165
I think it still will make it to 3.125 one way or another.
Down 70,000 - WOW. To me that's a lot of money.
Hopefully there'll have a press release tomorrow morning and put an end to all this.
Normally I don't get involved in pinks and otcbb. I'm going to stick to nasdaq and and listed stocks.
No - I got this from: http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=6760460
About 8:30 PM EST, if not, then tomorrow.
Thanks - that why I ask here, I don't want to bother them.
Who was last to call them. Do we still expect a press release tonight?
All they need is 51% and the rest doesn't matter.
I really hope you're right, but for some reason it seems like there're dragging it on for some reason.
I'll bet they're planing what there're going to do next and probably a carefully worded press release.
no - don't know anything about it.
It just seems if they have enought votes, you would of heard something by now. What else could it be?
It's just my guess based on what has happening as of 7.09 EST.
Looks like they don't have enought votes and there're trying to figure out what to put in the next press release.
Those two RS is what got them in trouble. Stockholders are at the bottom of the food chain.
Looks like Formula might have to come up with some more money.
Maybe word about the vote is leaking out (I hope)
Looks like the MM are doing this to the stock because of the vote.
Anybody know why the BxA is 1.52 x 1.60 and all the trades are occuring at around 1.70.
I cannot figure out why someone wouldn't vote for the buyout because you can pretty well expect a sub one dollar stock price for a long time if it doesn't pass.
I mean they're starting to increase sales and a lot of good things, but bottom line this is only a eight million dollar company, a microcap.
I think the buyout will go thru, maybe not the first time but it will go thru eventually.
Still only 300,000 to 400,000 on a busy day - only a small fraction of the float. I'll bet most if not all of the people trading the stock the last couple of weeks won't even figure in the vote.
Don't have to be to smart to figure that 10% of 5,000000 is 500,000.
Whoever owns those big blocks will have the final say and the chances are some of them are in at much higher prices. I hope Formula got enought to pass the vote which is my guess.
On a question like that you definately want to call the company.
I got this from another link but I'll bet Formula purchased enought of the stock when it was under or around .10 (1000000 x .10 = only $100,000 as opposed to paying 3.125 per share) to vote the deal thru. I believe it stated in one of the news releases that Formula had been looking at at Motion for around a year.
Anyways, it won't be long until we find out!
Did the company tell you this?
Does anybody know that if they get the 51% vote - do they have to wait until Monday or would we know possible tomorrow.
As I mentioned I use Scottrade Elite and Esignal and neither of them have level 2 for this stock. They have it for most others.
What type of stock quotation software do you get this kind of information from? I have Scottrade Elite but it doesn't give this info.
Sounds like they're pretty sure it's going to go thru - one way or another.
Did she happen to say how long it will be haulted? Just one day?
This link about the buyout works directly, for me: http://www.motiondnacorp.com/PROXY_STATEMENT_051705.pdf
I read some gossip that the stock will be halted during this Friday while they are voting about the buyout. Any fact to this?
Just wondering because my www.copernic.com which uses 17 search engines couldn't find them. That's a first for it.
How did you find these link?
Yes - The only way I could get it to work was by saving it to my hard drive first. Right click on the link and select "Save Target As" and let it download the file to your computer.
This link is probably true (except for the 170,000) and the deal will probably go thru: http://ragingbull.lycos.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=MTDN&read=146
Diluted the old shareholders and Formula probaby has enought shares to vote the deal thru. This explains why they reverse splited the stock twice. I can imagine a lot of things like this are done with pink sheet stocks.
When you think about it, there're doing the right thing with a merger with Formula. There'll be faster in their eligibility for NASDAQ in a year or two. I perdict the deal will go thru one way or another.
Motion says that Formula will supply the needed cash to accelerate the growth of the company to their goal of 100 million within a few years. Without this cash infusion Motion thinks it will grow but a lot more slowly.
Talking about how risky and poor performing OTCBB and pinks are: there're one that I got a buy recommendation in the mail about a year ago. This is one of the FEW I noticed that made it. I don't own any but look at: http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=TRLG.OB.
I think this could be the potential with Formula and Motion merging together as far as price appreciation.
I think the reason why is because Formula 51 wants to issue stock as a public company somehow on the NASD as soon as possible. I got this from the interview on 6/2/05.
