I see what you mean about the A/S, but I find it difficult to believe the company would do that to us. Danson has said several times in the past that he has no plans for an R/S in the foreseeable future, so unless something has change significantly, I suspect he has other plans to provide the necessary shares.
Keeping my fingers crossed...
Why a R/S? A R/S decreases the number of shares. If they need to increase, it seems a R/S would be the last thing they would want to do.
Or am I completely out in left field?
It seems more likely they would propose a vote to increase A/S.
Sorry, I thought you guys were talking about this latest dip. Yes, I bought a lot at .0005 back then too. My earlier comment was referring to this last test of the .0004's.
In this chart you can see where it took almost a full five trading days to get the profit takers out before it ran. Volume raised while price stayed pretty flat, then boom!
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=ADVC&p=D&yr=1&mn=9&dy=0&id=p42132586063
Also note the money flow this time compared to last. We have a lot more weight behind us this time.
Welcome! Glad you decided to join us.
Welcome all newcomers. Best of success to all of you!
Barryinla, I also had bids in at .0004 and could not get filled. I did manage to get a couple at .0005 but the majority filled at .0006
The last time we took a big run, it took several days to get the early profit takers out of the way. Once we did, it flew. Whether or not the same thing happens here is yet to be seen, but I am holding tight to my shares.
This is only the first phase. There is another acquisition yet to be closed.
The future looks bright for those who exercise patience.
I agree. I don't think we will ever see .0004 again.
Texas weather
Here is a good source for tracking weather trends: http://www.weather.com/weather/pastweather/USTX0475?from=search

LOL That was a good one, Roger! eom
"
Ya think all the other fewer and fewer posters PMd and got out or are they laying low?"
I'm hanging in there, but with fewer shares...with the company being so quiet, there is little to talk about, so I haven't been visiting as often. Otherwise, very busy and not a lot time to post.
Though I still hold a few shares, I must admit NVMG has lost its luster for me. Too many pr's promising things that never came to fruition, no reasonable explanations (are the streets of Texas still flooded? I think no...), and other things that just didn't add up, all made it harder and harder for me to continue to believe that they are making progress.
I hope I am wrong, though, so I continue to hold a small block just in case...
GLTA,
Frugal
They'll be back. They are still a good company who is experiencing tremendous growth.
I think we were just in need of a healthy pull back. We have had an incredible run, and it was only a matter of time before people started taking out some profits. Regardless of what happens over the near term, the future looks very bright for AFSI shareholders.
GL everyone!
Normally, it wouldn't bother me too much either except for the other, more recent incident. I thought that was an isolated incident, but this makes me wonder if it is a pattern.
Think I will do some more digging around to see what kind of info I can come up with.
It's not the same Raj? eom
lol Yeah, news is pretty old, but it does show a rather long history of questionable business practices on Raj's part. Still holding my NVMG for now, but I have to admit, this doesn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside...
My state voted Nay. Doesn't surprise me, tho...eom
Rhubarb, while we are obviously of opposing opinions on this one, I appreciate your contributions and efforts.
Frankly, I feel we should stay as far away from that "political prisoner" as possible. I am one shareholder who will never sign any petition to free someone who kills people. I don't care what his reasons were, he is exactly where he belongs, and to be honest, I really hate that the company has chosen to get involved in this.
And given the nature it, I think it would be unreasonable to expect people to say only nice things, or politically correct things about it. It is going to spur a lot of emotions in people, and personally, I feel everyone should be able to express their opinions about it, good or bad.
Just my .02 :-/
Why would they have two separate companies doing essentially the same thing? Seems odd to me that they would not roll them into one company.
a little more, please! eom
Given that they are at the mercy of those in possession of the rig, they may not be able to give an update. They may be as in the dark as we are.
Press releases are expensive, so I don't expect them to PR each delay, although an email to investors, even if only to say, "we don't know yet," wouldn't hurt.
Knowing how common delays are, I am not yet concerned, but I reserve my right to change my mind if it goes beyond another two to three weeks.
The problem I have with the "body" theory is that it would leave countless unfilled gaps in every chart of every stock traded. How often does a stock gap up or down from one session to the next? Almost daily?
It seems to me that waiting for a body fill would leave a lot of missed opportunities.
Personally, I believe each stock has it's own personality, and how they behave is as unique as you and I. The trick is learning to identify a particular stock's personality traits, just we learn the traits of the people around us. Once we understand what makes them tick (pardon the pun), we can work that to our advantage.
That's my theory, anyway.
Very true. The only thing worse than no PR is a fluff PR! eom
I have to agree. It is one thing to see delays, but when investors cannot contact the company, it causes even more apprehension. People are so skeptical about pinkies to begin with, transparency and availability is imperative. Not being accessible is not helping matters at all.
I am hoping they get those issues resolved quickly.
BMRA Chart: http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=BMRA&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p92076821278
Seems to be building a nice solid base here in the .70-.80 range. All it needs now is a little boost in volume (which has been picking up the last couple sessions).
GLTA
That is kind of what I am expecting...somewhere in the .025-.03 range.
But I don't see the .07-.10 range I have seen predicted without production numbers or a JV announcement.
"I talk via PM to many people that wont buy this stock until they PROVE that they are really buying a new rig"
Exactly! I know a few people waiting to see if it arrives before getting in. For them, it is a legitimacy test of sorts.
BTW, when I say I don't expect a huge run from news of it's arrival, I mean I don't see it hitting some of the outlandish numbers I have seen posted. Yes, I believe it will run upon news of the rig's arrival, I just don't think it will "explode."
The explosion will come with production numbers, JV's, etc.
The rig is the news closest to being realized, so for today, I suspect that is what people are waiting for, and we probably won't see much volume until we hear something (or other news).
As for how the stock will react, I agree. I am not expecting a huge run on it's arrival.
Yeah, it is. People waiting on rig news. Will probably be trading in limbo until we hear something.

Okay, but what language shall we discuss those in? eom
LOL Can you imagine if we had to press a number on our phone key pad for every language?
There are approximately 6,800 languages. The average voice greeting would last about two days. lol

Can't wait. It will be nice to have this chapter behind us, so we can move forward. Do you think it will close on time, Harr?
Agree, Bull. Rig may boost it a bit, but I am not expecting a substantial run from it. It's the production numbers and JV's that send it running, IMO.
