Holding on and have increased my position. Although disheartening on the surface, the ability to reallocate resources to marketing, distribution, and development will be a great thing long term.

Would I have preferred a PR disclosing their intentions/rationale for filing the Form 15...YES! But is this announcement only a bad thing; I don't think so. Here's a few positive reasons many companies file. Hundreds on the NASDAQ and NYSE did the same thing in 08'-09' to save money. While there are certainly disadvantages, let's look at the positive aspects as well.
1. Significantly lower operating costs and management time commitment for compliance and reporting activities. Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance is also no longer needed.
Securities laws and the Pink Sheets may require some level of ongoing disclosure to stockholders. Annual stockholder meetings are still required.
2. D&O insurance costs may be decreased.
4. The stock will continue to trade on the Pink Sheets
5. Less public scrutiny and disclosure, making it easier to keep confidential such matters as competitive business information and executive compensation.
5. The company will remain subject to anti-fraud provisions of state and federal securities laws
6. The company will have greater freedom to explore possible extraordinary corporate transactions.
7. Corporate governance requirements can be simplified. For example, it would not be necessary to have a majority of independent directors and the board of directors may be decreased in size.
KRED up 5.6% today... Anxiously awaiting their Q3 numbers.

Still see this as a GREAT buying opportunity. Increased my position over the past few weeks to a now blended average pps of .0428.

I can certainly appreciate the consternation many investors are feeling; I too would love to see a higher pps. That being said, if you've tinkered in the OTC markets long enough, you certainly know things can change significantly on a dime (positively or negatively) with release of performance reports, conference call updates, or merger/acquisition news. . To that point, early to mid-November's announcement of Q3 will be the most significant announcement in the past 24 months. Annual YoY growth coupled with amazing Quarterly YoY and QoQ growth for 4 straight quarters will raise the eyebrows of Institutional Investors. Then it becomes hold on to your hat time!

Shaun Roberts steps down as CEO (remains Chairman of the Board) and an MDA goes into effect with VDF. Both very smart moves that should align the vision and streamline the direction and philosophy that will reflect in even greater growth.
Looking forward to the Q3 numbers!

No one ever likes to see a 52-week low, but turn that frown upside down! Took advantage and added a few extra shares to my portfolio. Now sitting with an overall blended rate of .0465.
And remember, the only time to REALLY panic... is when you're trying to sell, and there's no buyers!
Nice volume to start the week!

Here's a few thoughts for your Tuesday trading!
-If you truly think this is a bad stock, why are you still in it? Even if you'd have to trade at a losing position, isn't 100% of something better than 100% of nothing?
-If you truly think this is a good stock to be in (which I clearly do) then relax and maybe buy more at these low prices.
Seems like common sense is all too uncommon these days!

Excellent point! Not a single share sold by executives/directors in over 24 months. And considering there's no law against them selling, you could easily conclude if they're holding things must be looking positive!
Thanks for pointing it out, Meima!
Happy to share my thoughts and rationale behind my optimism.
First off, in full disclosure I hold a position of greater than 1M shares, so clearly I have a vested interest in seeing KonaRed succeed. And don't forget, if someone 'sells', that means someone 'buys'. Would I like to see the stock higher, absolutely; am I taking advantage of this great buying opportunity, ABSOLUTELY!
Secondly, in order to truly understand the signs of a potential winner or loser, you need to completely understand the concept of 'shorts'.
Stocks with high short interest have a tendency to be more volatile and are commonly associated with stocks like KRED. To that point, follow the numbers. KRED's outstanding short interest positions are DOWN over 33% since July. Coincidence??? I personally don't think so. When you see the volume we've seen the past few days, the logical conclusion is that shorts are unloading before a spike, and nervous investors want to limit their positions. All of which is good long term for 'buyers'.
I posted the other day, an investor dropped 400k shares at close to 20% below the bid/ask run... my opinion it's an investor in need of positioning.
As for the concerns on this board about KonaRed management not holding calls, really??? We're looking at a stock that typically runs less than 100 trades a day. Hardly worth too much in the grand scheme. I'd much rather them focus on broadening their distribution (which they have according to their latest PR). They'll have a call when the time is right, and we investors sitting in the right place at that time will benefit.

My guess would be a final ditch effort by 'shorties' to change their positions before the get burned. Why else would someone dump 400j shares at
.044 when the bid/ask was floating above .05.
Anyway, thanks to whoever that was! I greatly appreciate the fire-sale!

Couldn't agree more! It's a perfect time to articulate some long term strategies.
CBC
Thanks for the insight and synopsis, Mamtae...Although I agree on many points, my overall takeaway is slightly more optimistic.
First and foremost, close to 1M in Q2 sales. That in itself presents a 300+% increase YoY. Taking into consideration the previous conference call where they stated 500k monthly would represent a possible profitability scenario I think the 10q clearly states the company is moving in the right direction...with a warm Q3 well on its way to another banner quarter.
Regarding endorsements, that's probably a local (Hawaii) athlete as KonaRed does a nice job of getting their name associated with swim, surf, and SUP board events in and around the islands.
Looking at the spread where the revenue comes from, clearly Cold Brew is leading the pack, but the addition of distribution of their powder additives to 20k add to the bottom line compared to zero the year before, much more growth is needed, but Kyle must have this segment on his radar.
Let's face it, it's a sub 5 year old start up with great products hitting shelves on both the east and west coasts, and now getting prominent end cap placement here in Colorado. It's going to take a little more time to actually turn a profit and garner the attention of the coveted institutional investors, but let's be realistic, Amazon, Chewy, Uber, Twitter and the like all post phenomenal revenues, while producing little if any profits.
Not comparing KRED to those juggernauts, but as long as they continue to make strategic reinvestment into the growth, distribution, marketing, and product development, we (and Institutional Investors) will come around and support the company at greater levels.
Cold Brew Cheers!

I'd much rather them hold off on needless announcements and focus on driving revenue. The irony is, if they were perpetually putting out PR'a they'd be accused of pumping and dumping.
Watch the insider transactions, nothing but buys and not a single sale. Trust me, if things weren't positive, they'd ALL be trying to make a few bucks.
Dollars to doughnuts says numbers will be exactly where they anticipate. My money's on $400k plus for May which will ultimately lead to a $1.2M Q2.
Patience is the name of the game, and shorties are getting nervous and starting to dump at low numbers.
