Canada's National Post has been using ScanLife for months.
Dr. Mike
(QR codes all over North America by the end of this year) where's our revenue?????
she too was probably misquoted. IM has never been quoted correctly.
Dr. Mike
JP, IM was just misquoted. He has never been quoted correctly, so why post anything he says?
Dr. Mike
here's an example of some b.s.
http://www.sonytouchless.com/smart-phone/mobile-marketing-is-hot-and-growing/
Dr. Mike
I believe we hold the patent. As Poptech says, we need the technology to make it work.
I read that it is on the way.
Dr. Mike
well done VInes if it was you doing the grilling on options.
Congrats again to all who participated.
Dr. Mike
ditto
I was very impressed by that caller.
Dr. Mike
didn't we own Mobot and it did the same thing?
Dr. Mike
I don't think YA is our problem. Our problem, imo, is our revenues are exceeded by our expenses.
Dr. Mike
so we have NINE and also Stella beer using codes around N.A.
We know from Japan that everyone will jump on the band wagon and it's here to stay.
Dr. Mike
yes JP. Can you believe it is finally happening NOW?
The future is here now.
Dr. Mike
2 d barcodes are showing up NOW all over the place. I wish we could sell our scanners to airports.
2 d barcode connected with Stella beer in downtown Toronto (financial /entertainment district) tells me that in the next few months we'll see them everywhere in North America and confirms what I related to you a few months ago from the Publicis meeting.
Can we make money off of it?
Dr. Mike
I'm in for extras
Dr. Mike
yes claw, very clearly he is over riding legal requirements for SHM to a long protest by the caller who demanded a SHM.
Dr. Mike
Personalizit spoke very well. So did the guy about Feb 17 illegalities.
Dr. Mike
this needs to be stopped.
Dr. Mike
who earlier in the conference got fed up about the feb 17 3 yr conv limit?
Dr. Mike
who was that shareholder who said management has options to exercise and we have our money in there ?
Dr. Mike
excellent c.c. questions around SHM and voting for BOD....who was the shareholder insisting on a vote for BOD and said shareholders weren't being represented?
Dr. MIke
thnx for sharing your thoughts, hc550
Dr. Mike
thank you to everyone who asked questions.
Dr. Mike
the question is, does NEOM have one more poop, oops, I mean pump, and dump left?
There are going to be a lot of shareholders competing with YA to get trhu the exits.
Dr. Mike
YA is not the problem. Management is the problem for having revenues far below expenses. Management avoids a SHM o that we cannot elect a new board of directors. We have all been pumped and dumped and screwed and are holding increasingly worthless shares.
The end of the story hasn't been written.
Dr. Mike
look at this:
# RFID tag producer UPM Raflatac and Nordic printing service company Hansaprint launched a service that allows customers to design and order print products with integrated NFC tags. The new TagAge portal lets customers design labels, stickers, patches and other products, which can include an NFC tag plus bar codes, graphics, variable text and other custom input. "We believe we're able to offer a unique proposition to the NFC market. In the emerging market, most customers require low volumes of customized products, and we believe our offering fits nicely with their needs," said Jukka Saariluoma, Hansaprint's development director.
# The value of mobile payments transacted with near field communication (NFC) technology will grow from $8 billion this year to $30 billion in 2012, according to a forecast released this week by Juniper Research, a UK market research company. "Many people focus on the use of NFC for payments but in fact it is poised to revolutionize the way many people shop too. The ability to tap smart posters and receive coupons and product information also presents new channels to market for merchants," said report author Howard Wilcox. "Whilst vendors see widespread availability of NFC phones in the future, the jury is out as whether interim solutions will attract users or actually have a detrimental effect."

Dr. Mike
no Pop, I don't have a link to the Publicis meeting. I believe it is closed door in house for senior global brand managers.
Dr. Mike
Diamondtech, I followed up on your lead and went to the extremely busy subway entrance at King and University in Toronto and the the large 2d barcodes in Stella ads. NeoReader photographed the code successfully in the dark but a server error prevented my Canada's RIM's Blackberry Bold from linking to the website.

Stella Artois brewery InBev has confirmed that ad agency Mother will be responsible for representing the beer's global marketing presence.
The announcement comes after a battle for the contract between Mother and Publicis, and also follows the agency being granted the contract to represent the beer's four per cent brew earlier this year.
A spokeswoman for InBev said simply: "We can confirm that Stella Artois has selected the agency Mother, to work on Stella Artois' new global advertising campaign."
The importance of injecting new blood into a company's organisation cannot be underestimated in the face of growing concerns over the UK and global economies.
Many businesses are announcing severe job cuts in reaction to a potential recession, but adding critical new thinkers and fresh perspectives to a business could ensure an organisation retains its competitive edge.
Signing a contract with Mother means the end of a 26-year partnership with ad agency Lowe, which created the beer's infamous "reassuringly expensive" tagline.
Dr. Mike
hi Diamondtech,
I'm going to the ball game tonight so perhaps I'll see those ads you mentioned @ King Street.
Dr. Mike
As Publicis said to the senior mangement in Chicago several weeks ago, "2D bar codes all over North America by the end of this year."
btw, Publicis will be having another meeting in Chicago shortly.
Dr. Mike
yes Jeff, I meant NEOM management.
Dr. Mike
I think he's expecting a bounce to just under $2.
Dr. Mike
maybe some individuals need to take personal responsibility. I don't know....I'm not a lawyer.
Dr. Mike
where is the record? no transcript. No recording?
Dr. Mike
a phone call to Mike Zema will verify if YA is receiving a dividend.
Dr. MIke
what was that about?
tia
Dr. Mike
thnx for your post, YJ.
So, there is still hope.
Hopefully, a doubly rewarding Thanksgiving in the U.S.
Dr. Mike
what was that regarding?
tia
Dr. Mike
his response during the last c.c about no SHM due to lack of funding may have been a lie.
Dr. Mike
robo, that's what I was thinking. Takes months to negotiate deals. It has been only 4 weeks from the CH deal.
Dr. Mike
HD, I thought just a few weeks ago you were all excited about buying more hares.
Dr. Mike
#1 question for c.c.
when will the SHM be held in order to vote in a new B.O.D.
It is our legal right. If CEO again says they don't have the money then NEOM should go out of business.
