I think we see a $12-15 billion buyout. We see double to triple what Auris sold for as Sport has exponential value in terms of how it will be used and # of surgical cases it will be used. This is how ISRG measures their growth.
Makes sense, Airseal system has been heavily adopted in the robotic space so not surprrised these big league surgeons do proctoring for them.
Conmed could be a likely company as it would be a great compliment to their Airseal insufflator system. A high percentage of robotic cases are using the Airseal system so relationships with surgeons are already there.
305 in Da House!!!
Anywhere between $5-10 I would vote yes.
No doubt, but you do nit see any hispital matket Intuitive's SP platform. This hospital has both robots yet they refuse to use the SP robot. Very strange in my eyes.
Interesting today I was speaking with supply chain at a hospital where they currently just upgraded to the new da vinci XI, but they also told me a couple years ago they also purchased Intuitive's SP robot for a couple surgeons that requested it. Wierd thing is after the surgeons got their training offsite they came back and have never used the robot. This robot has been sitting for a couple years and never been used yet they upgraded to XI. Doesn't make sense to me. There is something wrong with Intuitive's SP platform that noone talks about.
Makes sense....Surgiquest who makes Airseal got bought out by Conmed. Airseal is used on every single robotic procedure.
If there is ever a time to get in this stock, it is NOW!!!I think we'll hear some great news this week. It feels great to finally have a leader that has a plan and actually executing!
Great news coming soon! Don't let the train pass you by!

I can guarantee your hospital is not getting those units at no charge, its illegal because that would be seen as an influence to buy which is illegal under the sunshine act. They are paying for it on the back end through disposables. Those disposables have an added fee per use which goes to pating the unit or rental if the unit. You see manh capital deals that are lease to own so that hospitals do not have to dish out cash up front. The reps sell it as a free unit which is incorrect.
Its more , da vinci's go 2mil plus!
Disagree, it doesn't specify he did consulting for them. I looks like they flew him out somewhere but not for consulting otherwise you would see a payment for that service. I think they flew him out to look at their product and he wasn't impressed, otherwise he would be consulting for them.
If verb has a protype for their platform and we are just going to start on our software wouldn't it make sense now to announce the partnership? Don't these two pieces align?
Its on the TItan website now.
Ximedica also attended this FDA workshop
I think he's done his DD. This is not your regular John Doe urologist. He must have seen SPORTS pltential and game changing technology to now be endorsing Titan. Dr. Patel has been a long da vinci user so this is why its so significant. Interestingly enough I found this 2015 FDA sponsored work shop with many of the key KOL's for robotic surgery which included Dr. Patel and also included Titan represented by Dennis Fowler. I do not see any other vendor on the list. Maybe the relationship started at this meeting. Here is the link to the transcript of the discussions at the meeting. Its all about challenges and opportunities in robotic surgery.

Seems like pure confidence, not sure why they would not PR this. This is one ISRG's main players. Surely this is a punch in the gut for them.
No,, Dr. Advincula was the Medical Director for their Gynecologic Robotics Program in 2009. Dr. Patel is a Urologist and Medical Director of their Global Robotics Institute and he was been there since 2008before Dr. Advincula.
The addition of Dr. Vip Patel is a HUGE addition to the SAB! He is a global leader in Robotic Prostatectomies with close to 10,000 cases. I used to sell OR products to Urologists and I can assure you that Dr. Patel was often referenced in conversations. His opinion not only weighs heavily in the US but across the globe. Thus is a MONSTER get!! See his profile attached.

If this was the case then why even unveil SPORT at Sages? That doesn't make sense IMO.
What is the email we are sending?
This completely wreaks of a buyout now with Fowler out.
Still here with 70k shares....worked with urologists and this is a game changer.
With all due respect, that is more than obvious...i do understand because I work in this industry and have seen first hand the amount of work it takes the make enhancements that a product. Of course technology is always evolving, but if they are making an enhancement now its probably because it will add more value to the end product now instead of 3-4 years from now. I don't know about you but I want to get the most out of my investment when they sell this company.
And how long has it taken them to make those enhancements? I'll answer that for you, its taken years. What you and CUIN don't understand is that if there is new enhancements we can make to SPORT, its better to do it now before we sell the first unit. If we do it after the robot is on the market it will take way way way longer than this 6-8 month delay. Guys, remember SPORT is a true "Game changer". Believe me I want to see this thing be very successful as I too have a good chunk of shares invested.
As an OR medical device rep now for 8 years, I would rather wait a little longer to get a superior product than launch a subpar product that needs a lot of refinement. It would take away the "wow" factor. Surgeons at the end if the day get what they want no matter how many companies out there have a similar product. If at the end of the day SPORT is the superior product, it will sell over everyone else no matter how many other options are out there.
Not only is China a huge opportunity, but the whole APAC region is where many of the large medical device companies are focusing on. APAC region is predicted to be the biggest medical device market within the next 5 years. Of course US market and FDA approval is our primary focus, but you are underestimating the impact of getting into China IMO.
I wonder if they will be present at the AUA conference in San Diego early May. This is the most attended international Urology conference globally.
