I agree. Great post LaJrChamp!
I'm going with the 7th.
“Seven is the number of completeness and perfection (both physical and spiritual). It derives much of its meaning from being tied directly to God's creation of all things.
Biblical scholars point out that the number seven is quite significant in the Bible. In the creation story, God made the world in six days and rested on the seventh day. Scholars have found that the number seven often represents perfection or completeness in the Bible.
Lucky number 7.
I'd rather be lucky than good.
I wore number 77 as a HS football player.
I knew you were kidding. However, I do need to update that piggy. The piggy is hungry. Will get back with you Tues.
I was set to update several weeks ago, then realized the earnings report was coming in a week or two. So I put it on the back burner.... Lol sorry...
Are we at 53b now?
That sounds like a lot of fun. Be safe. Happy Memorial Day!
Deep down, this is what I have thought all along. Thanks for your analysis. Please excuse, I'm a little behind reading the board.
[quoteThe first 20 minutes apply to us. You can start at the 7 minute mark if you want to avoid the preamble. This is an excellent interview. Craig tells us what happened behind the scenes. Basically everyone wanted to stop the sweep including Mnuchin. But they faced an uphill battle from the hardliners. Mnuchin from day one wanted to stop the conservatorship. Wow. Everyone in the administration was against the sweep. Now it makes perfect sense the letter of agreement in January 2021. I understand the wording now. Mnuchin and Calabria basically gave instructions to the Supreme Court as to what needs to be done. Brilliant move. No wonder it is taking this long to write the ruling. We are in excellent shape.][/quote]
Thanks Robert. Let's hope SCOTUS delivers the government a fastball up under the chin.
That's a good question. The 5th circuit was after hours. Was the Lamberth decision after hours back in 2014? I think all the lower courts have been after hours.?
Anyone?
The answer is C. $10 in the first days and weeks. Then over time could be a lot, lot more.
Hank Paulson himself talked about when they nationalized the GSE's.
It sure does. I keep meaning to do that. What is our current retained earnings? Anyone?
Sorry! no chili.... We only have mayo, ketchup, mustard, relish and onions. Could I see your Costco membership card?
That's right
You beat me to it.
I'm about a year behind. Piggy bank will be changed tomorrow...
Great post Guido. I agree with you.
That's right.
I have owned Fannie since Sept. 2009. I'm riddin this train all the way into the station. I'm gonna eat me a steak when we git there.
You hit the nail on the head.
I knew it. After we win, lets meet up. I want you to take me for a ride, Mr. Spaceman. I promise I won't do anything wrong by touching any buttons or switches.
In after hours news, I have updated my currant status :
FNMA- Strong Buy and Hold
FMCC- Strong Buy and Hold
That's classic Rick.

I haven't said anything pro or con on his twitter, because he's doing okay as he follows Trump and Mnuchin's wishes. They are doing an administrative fix of the GSE's.
Otting spoke about it to a group of FHFA employees. Unfortunately, someone leaked some of the information and the blow back from it, helped cause some delay, as well as the 5th circuit decision. But regardless the GSE's will be released.
To your point, there is something to be said for holding someones feet to the fire. He's no dummy. He knows many are pissed and rightfully so. Don't be a stiff... scared shitless to say anything that "might" make someone mad. Be a fighter!
Yeah lets go ahead and make a recco, then say not a recco
What do you want to say to the pig?
Glad you're back. Now lets drag out that algorithm and gitter cranked up!
Sticky denied.
I'm good with retained earnings, for the time being, while we wait on the courts.
Right now we're sitting on 23.5B
A good 2nd Qtr should put us near 30B
This time next year 60B
Add in the over payment 100B
And the same Judge who is making Hillary Clinton testify under oath in Sept.
He put out the memo... We know the direction we're headed which is a lot better than it was when he took office.
Besides
I vote for who will do the best running this country. Any stock will always be secondary to that.
Mods... Why do we only have 2 stickies at the top of the page. Didn't we use to have 4 or 5?
I'm not talking about the plus one stickies. I'm talking about the Moderator stickies...
Cheer up Mike. The state of affairs has changed greatly for FNMA and the GSE's. We've gone from the wind down and receivership to retaining earnings and a future release.
President Trump put out the memo. These things take time... The courts take time.
I've been in since 2009. 11 years. Be patient.
That's got to be one of the all time best phrases. 3:10 to Yuma. We're are going to make it back to Yuma then on to Vegas
We need 135B combined...No dividends till 234B
@FHFA proposed capital rule would require combined $135.1 bn core capital (2.22%), but $234 bn before "capital distributions and bonuses" $FNMA $FNMAS pic.twitter.com/lkvM8SvGOx

Wow thanks!! I was thinking this was bad news after reading the Ackerman piece.
This is good news.

MannSinger, I've always enjoyed your posts. You come out of left field sometimes thinking outside the box. Keep em coming.
If I wasn't retired already, I would hire you.
