Jim,
seems to me "timing" is a legit issue/complaint, as well as consistency. iow, let's focus on Scottie, who would not deliver f/s divvy/shares on gvrp. They "protected" us so well, we never had the chance to make bank. OK, so they're super cautious.
Therefore, I watch for days and days and pass up chances to enter BCIT until I'm sure--based on Scottie's previous actions--that it seems safe to trade.
Then...whack--they restrict BCIT...*days after* the DTC warning. Highly inconsistent... and again "protected" me so well that I was denied a chance to cash in a 4-bagger... lol, how much "protection" can I afford?
Seems like some sort of "reasonable person" clause should obtain...
OT: gvrp/mamg--seeing an accurate post r/s pps would be valuable...
(this may have been addressed--did not "read forward")
Otherwise, if someone could get NASD *or* SEC to go on record re r/s without NASD/SEC posting...can *any* company do that? Has *any* company *ever* done that?
either would be a milestone...
Serious question: how can they trade it--f they can't trade it?
Maybe I'm reading your post incorrectly?
coming in late, so may be redundant but this was a very good post...we as traders should've started an Investors' Site re gvrp and released professional PR's. Imagine what Megas could do as compared to the GLUV getaway-car-gang, given that brokerages *still* act as though that last r/s was legal. By comparison, BCIT could make them and even GLCK look like crap shooters in the alley.
Basically, like this--You and I "brother-in-lawing" at the card table, or more simply:
"Hey, you want this $10 bill"
"Sure, here's two fives."
Level 3 has more info; what it comprises I don't know, but I don't think they can see "my account" as orders are first routed through individual brokers then on to the e-system and various MM feeds...Others here know how that works; I've seen it posted before. Best bet? Ask SSP over at Golden Threads...
OT: Thanks, H2--like it here
interesting play...
I tried a test sell on Scottie: "...currently unavailable for online trading."
O/T: adultfriendfinder--now, that's entertainment!
breakthrough, if it pans out
DTCC et al--including their subsidiaries, to which they have granted a "pardon" for crimes that might be committed--is a BRICK WALL. SEC allows them to be set up as a corp/non-public entity; which means they are not even subject to Freedom of Information Act...
dead-end, imho...
good post
lol, they deal only with "member firms"
This is typical of Scottrade: branch staff often out of the loop and likely to know little about actual market operation or regs n rules. I quit dealing with locals on gvrp/mamg and only deal with compliance, now.
Scottie becoming balky is indicative of a real problem: very conservative in terms of their own risk position, yet they took gvrp/DCT "line" on the July r/s as gospel when, in fact, it has violated several regs.
iow, the fiduciary duty to clients takes a beackseat to CYA for themselves.
Of course, the difference here is gvrp execs are/were on the line: BCIT exec is trying to straighten it out...
worst case: GVRP/MAMG--reg agencies do not force buy-in (so far), therefore, it languishes
best case: GCKL(E)--forced cover, therefore, multi-bagger
Thanks, knew i recognized the name. Is the "current trouble" via CMKX? If so don't care, just trying to keep up, lol...
the essencse of this post is, imho, the difference between this one and gvrp. I mention because it's been posted that some hesitated to pull the trigger having recently been beat up by the GLUV play. I hesitated to enter, until I was confident of no suspension. Not saying I know so much that suspension is ruled out, but I waited for my comfort zone to enter. Watched it for days...finally pulled the trigger and am content with both decisions, ie (1) caution (2) buying in.
OT: DANG, Walters' name rings a bell, but it's been a loooong weekend--can anybody fill in me quickly?
The way I read that, they're simply selling a "gift package," sorta like "buy a star for your loved one." They have no idea about NSS, counterfeit shares, etc. They simply markup the pps, buy a share, and wrap it up in a bow...
legit concern. kept me out in early phase, for sure. I wanted to be reasonably confident of no GLUV re-run.
There's differences, for sure; however, the similarity is "authorities" were alerted pre-play in both cases.
However, as Art has pointed out, CEO in this case is on investors' sides as that aligns with his interests. Pearce and the "crash-the-getaway-car-gang" *were* the crooks. This time, the company/CEO is fighting the crooks.
Bottom line: imho, if it were going to be suspended, it would've been. Noon last Friday was my personal deadline...got in as soon as possible after that.
This "quacks" much more like the GLCKE duck, to me...
Great week, great thread, great leaders
Fringe is trying to buy new charting software that can keep up, lol
please accept my best wishes, also (infrequent poster here, regular at Allstocks)
lol, you are nuts--crazy good at charts: never seen em explained the way you do
best to all
single-best, quick, accurate summary I've seen. Nice work. Gonna re-post at Allstocks
What if traders at I-hub and Allstocks chipped in together for half- or full-page ad in something like USA Today or WSJ? Probably be cheaper than retaining an attorney seeking an injunction...
Sorry if I'm disturbing etiquette; 2nd post on I-hub, preceding post is on Golden Threads re same issue: yet another apparent "bone-head divvy" play re NRCNA. Apparently company has announced cash divvy of .09 (trading at .5-.4 range with HOY of 1.09) with a Pay Date of 8-11, yet Ex-date is 8-12.
Tried the search here for a thread, perhaps poorly executed...apologize in advance if so...simply looking for any info I can find...
by the way, as mentioned in other post, I have read/benefited from much DD/experience here, reposting on Allstocks some info re gvrp/mamg. AS well, some of my stuff has been re-posted on relevant threads here. fwiw...
thanks for any help and maybe somebody here will find a way to play this NRCNA fuggup...
great board, great thread here in particular: am learning from the great annotated charts, too
best wishes,
bt
Hello, first post, although I've lifted (& attributed) quotes from here for posting at Allstocks. Might mention, some of my stuff has shown up here, too, re the GVRP/MAMG fiasco.
Am onto a possible "bone-head play" re a divvy: NRCNA, which apparently has announced a cash divvy (.09 currently trading .5-.3 range). looks like another ex-date confusatron, as they set pay date for 8-11 yet ex-date is 8-12.
Simply wondering if anybody's already DD'd/posted...aware...or even cares?
Tried your search function, but may be using it poorly...
Thanks
