No walk on the beach, whew! :)
Mark, I do not know how to tell if MMs are trading 144 shares or what. I have met you and lots of other investors along with HRCT management. I have gotten involved in the process and done some DD. I feel we are being told the truth and in time this all will evolve into what we are expecting.
It appears to me that there is nothing put out by HRCT because of the black out/quiet period. It may be worth a call to Long Beach, Monday.
I can see two things:
One is this message of peniding good things to come is made by posters I have come to know as high quality.
Two, on both Thursday and Friday there was last hour big buys!
I picked up another 1500 at 0.50
Now matter how long it takes it will be worth it.

Washington Post article:
China Asked To Join The WTO, Didn't It?
Investorman, I have been a dedicated long for a good while now. While I like this tid-bit you have supplied us,
"Meanwhile, just want to let you know that we have a
2-week news blackout, as we are in a very sensitive
phase of negotiation with a major capital group. I
don't know what the outcome will be, so we have to
keep our mouth shut. Nevertheless, we are also ready
with other options."
I wonder why this would not violate the quiet period? Who sent it to you and why HRCT can not communicate at all with investors? Does, quiet period, mean that?
I sent an e-mail to HRCT with no reply. I did expect to have a Phan mail by now, too.
EC
Second day when trades look like big buys at the close. What's up with that?
Small fries sell in the morning and big block at end of day?
Blackout before the IPO?
I do not feel the SA IPO will happen anytime soon. That we have had no official explanation from HRCT does trouble me. That they did not reply to my e-mail, also troubles me.
HRCT assets are in China. When will that be reflected in the share price?
Mark you have been a big time supporter of HRCT. That you voice concerns, does not bother me. No one can label you a basher.
Why don't you have lunch with Phan and ask him, Mark? You did before.
EC
This is not a good time to give up
I sent this, brief and perhaps not exacting, but they got the idea.
Dr. Phan,
Jack Westfield,
Fred Cohn,
When will the earnings of the Chinese subsidiaries be shown on the earning statements and balance sheets of Hartcourt? This would help valuation of HRCT stock, RIGHT NOW.
When will we get an official explanation of what happened to the Streaming Asia IPO?
I look forward to your reply.
Thanks Mark. I will urge an explanation from HRCT on why there are no earnings. Stock value is based on an earnings stream, even if many investors do not know this. Phan in his letters many times has mentioned the earnings of the subsidiaries. It is time to show them.
This BB market is the pits, agreed.
Mark, What do you feel about not being able to show revenues due to Chinese Laws. When I asked Jack about it at the meeting he seemed to say it was just too much bother!
Good Questions Mark. Dr Phan always has told us there was big money that wanted to get in, right?
He did not want to sell out cheaply.
Anytime would be great to see the Deep pocket partner, even now
SA IPO: Not if, when, is the question.
SA will go public.
China will grow.
Shareholders in HRCT will participate.
Buy more HRCT while the price is low.
I agree Deb. Getting the IPO out will retain a lot of good will HRCT has with shareholders. IPOs look good in HK too. Maybe not the best, and good enough.
EC
Dr. Phan is meeting with YUANTA, KOFFMAN and SA this week. They may still decide to go on with the IPO I believe.
Happy Easter to everyone.
EC
I agree that getting SA out soon will lend credibilty to HRCT. Even if the value is low, the goodwill created may be worth it.
Yuanta, Koffman and SA will have to agree that is worth it too. Will they? Stay tuned.
The FED making small steps keeps inflation in check. Remember the 22% (or so) prime in 1982?
YES Tin it could be years. Do you feel that we will have to wait that long?
WTO talks starting, or have them near an end and an upswing market would have SA IPO received well.
Very true 'uis_aol_money'
"The next news we all want to see is that the detainees are released. This has serious implications as far as the WTO is concerned. Not only that, but the PNTR vote is going to have to run its course through the house again. The longer are troops are detained, the more difficult China will make it for the US to do business in China.
This stock will see downward pressure until are troops are released, and there is no way in heck that the ipo will be announced until then!"
There is little doubt China and the U.S. will get back on the right track for Hartcourt eventually.
Why do you get that feeling Tin? Jack told me they were meeting about it in Hong Kong this week. Though HRCT will suffer short term if they postpone SA, it may be best in the long run for us all.
I agree we do need to see results. I also relize the SAm HRCT, YUANTA, and KOFFMAN will all want the most for the IPO they can receive. A delay in the IPO may be good in that regard.
HRCT share price will fall much lower without some results. The WTO is certainly not going to be happening anytime soon. If it is decided to wait, then the opportunity is to buy more shares and hold them, no matter how hard it will be.
Just spoke to Jack Westfield at HRCT.
I was not confrontational at all with him. I just wanted to hear from the company directly on what was happening.
On the IPO I directed my questions. Jack said they had been dragging their feet on answering questions in hopes of an IPO approval, which has not come yet.
Dr. Phan is in Hong Kong this week meeting with YUANTA and KOFFMAN to develop a strategy for the IPO. He told me hundreds of IPOs worldwide had been cancelled out right and HRCT was not doing this. (At this time of course) HRCT was in no rush to move. While everyone is a little nervous of the markets, they felt enthusiatic on the strategies HRCT has.
Hopefully there will be a Phan mail next week at a minimum. I personally do not see the market being receptive to IPOs right now. What do you all feel?
I too have come from the RB Dark board growin more useless everyday.
I bought more today. I do not know when SA will happen. I believe it will one day!
