There was nothing wrong with the "Classic" view. Change for change's sake is seldom appreciated. Please at least keep the option for your customers to select the view they wish.
Will an unanimous Jury decision be required for this case.
Is this a possible scenario??...
Jury awards a substantial settlement and possibly punitive awards too. Awards
paid directly to shareholders from GSE's assets. Then, the GSE's assets could
be depleted to a point that FHFA could put them in receivership. Gov then
gets first dibs on assets leaving shareholders with nothing except ulcers.
I think I'm starting on that ulcer already thinking about this scenario. Someone
please tell me this would be unlikely.
Anyone else getting a pop up advertising video when reading a message here?
Investors Hub claims it's not theirs.
SC calendar shows three SC Opinion days next week.
i think the good news is that once SCOUTS renders a decision, no appeals will follow. Then it's one and done!
Yah, no kidding Trader. What's the court going to do, send in the Army to force compliance?
Thank you sir.
OK, so Judge Sweeney's ruling for the Fairholme case means it can go to trial. Bench trial or jury trial...anyone know?
Whoops, my bad. What I meant to ask is: are the Fairholme plaintifs asking for a jury trial or a bench trial?
Anyone know if Collins requested a jury trial or a bench trial?
Thanks "lookaheadfuture" I was able to log on today too.
Thanks Crypto.
Before you go again though, what happened to "courtlistner.com" The site doesn't appear to be up.
Anybody know if Watt sent Treasury the GSE'S 2nd quarter profits? I think today was the day we get our pockets picked.
Thanks for your reply. I have also messaged Datascoops several times and received no replies yet. You are probably right about "worthless".
Anyone ever receive any acknowledgement from Datascoops of your converted shares? I haven't.
Watt will save FnF?
Watt is the head of FHFA is he not?
In the latest FHFA appeal filing in the Roberts and Fischer law suit, FHFA is still saying HERA gives them the authority to gut FnF and they intend to do so.
So why would Watt, the head of FHFA, not allow the full 3rd amendment dividends to be paid as scheduled.
It looks to me that Watt is the head of the serpent.
OK, thanks. Darn, I thought something (maybe good) was happening.
FNMA Second Quarter Results?
Anyone seen FNMA's 2nd quarter results? They were scheduled to be posted last Friday.
FNMA's 2nd quarter results...
I thought FNMA's 2nd quarter results were to be announced today (7/28) and FMCC's on Monday the 31st. Anybody see them?
Since my birthday is the end of the month I'm hoping for a nice present from Mel for all of us longs.
Thank you Rekcusdo for the huge amount of time you devote to this FNMA board. As you now seem to be our legal "hall monitor" would you mind giving us a brief summary of your legal background, and perhaps a hint to your age. Thx
I think most post on FNMA board.
Question probably best answered by obiterdictum
What if the appeals court decides that Judge Lamberth was correct in his interpretation that HERA as written, allows FHFA to rape and pillage FnF. Can the appeals court then amend or delete the parts of HERA that it sees as unconstitutional and hopefully render a positive verdict for the plaintiffs? Or, will a new and separate lawsuit need to be brought to 'fix" HERA and if so, in what court would that motion need to be filed in?
Re; Appeals Court decision,
Oral arguments held April 15, 2016.
Assuming that the decision is due within 150 days...
April 15-30 = 15
May 1-31 = 31
June 1-30 = 30
July 1-31 = 31
August 1-31 = 31
Sept 1-12 = 12
Total = 150
So...decision is "due" by SEPTEMBER 12th, not August 12th.
Sorry, I mean financials for 2016. The 2015 numbers I did see of course.
Thanks Axel. Can you post a link to it? I haven't been able to find it.
Anyone have a link to first half of 2016 financial results?
The Appeals court heard the case on April 15, 2016. The 150 day period for it to render a verdict in ends September 12, 2016.
Come on Pumper, pump, pump, pump. Let's kick this pig.
Would it be possible for someone to file for an injunction to stop the pending quarterly transfer of FMNA & FMCCs' stolen assets to the UST? If for no other reason than to add to UST's legal battles and delay the transfer for as long as possible?
