Today's drop definitely a controlled one
So even our broker wouldn't have the answer? Wouldn't it have to state whether commons are to be wiped out or carried over somewhere in the BK plan?
Question: At what point will we know whether our commons shares will be wiped out after BK or not? Apparently, it's NOT 100% certain they will be wiped so how would I find this information out or is it too early? If all you're going to do is respond with a fear mongering post then save it, I have nothing to lose at this point, I just want honesty and a unbiased answer
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help with my question
They won't move the ASK, seems like a trap
Does RH not have support you can contact?
They keep making the bid/ask the same, you can't tell if it's people buying or dumping
I don't have an answer for that, hindsight is 20/20, but the investors/traders left holding the bag(myself included) will have a tough lesson to learn, but the gloating from bears saying "I told you so" and "You should have listened to me" is ridiculous, the same reason you shouldn't listen to the obnoxious bulls the same goes for the bears, everyone has their own agenda and you can't trust anyone
Geesh, NO, it's not trading in AH's!
Latest news update from Etrade
It won't let me paste the whole article, but here is a piece that caught my eye
SunEdison's bankruptcy case will kick off Friday, when the embattled company will ask for the appointment of an examiner, according to a court calendar entry. Lawyers for the company couldn't immediately be reached Thursday to discuss the unusual move. Typically, creditors ask a bankruptcy judge to appoint an examiner to conduct an independent probe of a company's business dealings.
SunEdison, which is under investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission and Justice Department and sued over its dealings with related companies, is likely to be the target of creditor probes in chapter 11.
By asking for an examiner at the outset of its case, SunEdison appears to be borrowing a page from the playbook of the bankrupt operating unit of Caesars Entertainment Corp., which last year asked for an examiner to probe allegations of insider-led looting of the company. The Caesars probe didn't end well for the company, however, as the examiner found creditors had potentially been wronged by prebankruptcy dealings.
SunEdison said it has secured commitments for new capital of up to $300 million in debtor-in-possession financing from a consortium of first- and second-lien lenders. Court papers say the chapter 11 financing may include a "roll-up" of up to $350 million of the existing second-lien loans and second-lien convertible notes. In a "roll-up" deal, prebankruptcy loans are elevated to the prime status of bankruptcy financing, which makes them easier to collect, as a condition of extending new money to a troubled company.
If you've never been to stocktwits.....DON'T EVER join that sune board, my God, EVERYONE with a 50 IQ and $100 to their name is there. I'm not sure I've ever read more retarded posts in my entire life, it trumps the Yahoo board by far
At this point I just don't care any more. It's like playing blackjack and holding 16 and the dealer showing a 10 or ace, you don't want to hit because you know you'll bust, you'd rather take the small chance that the dealer has a small card and then a big card to bust. This POS has fallen so much I'm not selling, but none the less....I HATE THIS PIG!!! I'm not sure that analogy made sense, but in my head it does lol
TTYL
Bid building while sune down 7%......
Nothing new, still the same old POS, day in day out! I'm just here praying for a miracle bounce into the $1's and I'm bailing and will never look back, if not then I've at least got my health and wonderful family! Hope all is well with you!
That's what people say EVERYDAY! If you post that every day eventually you'll be right someday
Sunedison Inc hired Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom as legal adviser and Houlihan Lokey as financial adviser as the company appears to be moving forward with its bankruptcy process.
Bloomberg, citing "two sources familiar with the situation," reported the company's advisers will help reorganize $11.7 billion in short and long-term debt that Sunedison raked up.

Restructuring and Ch.11 can go hand and hand so don't be so sure of what you don't know, time will tell
I sure hope so....praying there's no negative news in regards to the BK rumors, but as far as it being this week, I don't see that happening, but I guess time will tell. GL!
On time? It's been delayed for more than 2 months!
Honestly, I don't know. I'm just trying to put the pieces together, complete silence and delay after delay and now we find out they've been under investigation, my assumption is that it goes hand and hand
I have absolutely zero idea, but my own personal opinion is it's not going to be this week or next, my guess is the investigation could take months, but I'm no expert and this is all just a guess
The 10-K won't be released until the SEC/DOJ investigation is completed
The PPS doesn't seem too affected by the latest "news" in either direction so it's obviously not that important
Of course you leave out the part of the story where the writer says both options are very unlikely
Until it comes from the SEC or sune it's a rumor. I'm not naive enough to say it's a lie or there's no validity to it because I have no clue, but the constant, redundant articles the media is recycling is so incredible ridiculous.
Obviously I understand that, but if my investment is down 70% now then I don't give a crap about the left over 30%, obviously this is my opinion, others can feel however they want
What worse can happen??(at least for longs/bagholders such as myself) We're at .60 cents, WHAT if the "source" has something to gain by accidentally saying the SEC is investigating rather than the internal audit? I have no clue what's going to happen, but for myself I might as well ride this out
Only one problem here.....ALL of those articles are based on a "source", there's nothing factual from the SEC themselves
If it doesn't come out of sunes mouth then nothing else matters at this point
Wow, such an UGLY day and it's going to continue to get ugly until the company opens their effing mouth
Question for someone that isn't heavily invested emotionally one way or the other on sune. What's the chances here that they have been diluting the past month or so? Everyone wants to blame it on the shorts, but they did release news back in January of dilution. How frequently do companies have to update the amount of shares they've converted?
Thanks in advance!
I really wish they had a like option next to posts, I really liked this one!
You gotta be kidding! Even with bad #'s this would NEVER drop below a $1, chill out bro!
I agree with that statement and I do remember him trading here awhile ago. I'm just frustrated, there are ENDLESS amount of shares for sale today, have me extremely worried. Anyway, I will shut up now. Have a fabulous afternoon
As of now, there's no future? How do we know this? From the lopsided PR's that are released on a daily basis from the same news outlets? Sune sure as he** doesn't try and counter any negative news, I don't blame people for having zero confidence
I more upset with this HORRIBLE HORRIBLE management, they appear to have ZERO respect for their shareholders.
Hopefully today treated you well
Take a deep breath Heather, it's going to be ok. Everyday above ground is a good day. Some days are harder than others, you will see your time. We all know the feeling of being stuck in a stock, it really sucks. Luckily with this one, it's very volatile and can bounced at any moment. Good luck to you
Massive rebound? It closed down .21 cents to $1.58, expect more heavy selling pressure at open, hopefully it subsides the 2nd half of the day when people realize suspending the dividend wasn't a bad decision. This mgmt is absolutely HORRIBLE and heads need to roll
Still have people dumping, once they're done this will push up
Okie dokie, I'll be back in a couple of days when this is trading in the .50's. Good luck
