who cares. Share price is going higher. Should be an interesting close to 2016. Good luck to you.
have not posted for a while. I agree with your view. Should be seeing some good updates based on the last corporate news. Lets wait and see.
Exactly. The management have paid themselves very well over the last several years especially the CEO and CFO. THe share holders have always been at the back of the line and although ICTV did increase the top line revenue they could never make any money on the bottom line. The no-no line has been around for a while now. Buying a product line that has been heavily promoted and sold seems risky to me. This is just one writeup by a consume report and the content speaks for itself.
Is No No a yes?
The hair-removal device left legs 'prickly' and 'hairy'

Electric Razors
Shaving battle scars such as ingrown hairs and bloody cuts might have you ready to try anything other than the usual razor. Enter the No No 8800 hair remover, about $285, a device that’s all but unavoidable if you watch TV. According to its website, it lets users go “weeks without shaving” and is “painless and effective.”
How it works
No No, which has low, medium, and high treatment levels, removes hair with a heated wire that stays above the skin. It can be fitted with a wide tip for removing hair on legs, arms, chest, and back, or a narrow tip for smaller areas such as the face or bikini line. You glide the device over skin at a 90-degree angle. A red light glows if you’ve gotten it wrong. Once done, you use the provided buffer because, the manufacturer says, “without buffing, crystallized hair remains in place, giving your skin a prickly feel.”
How we tested
Six female staffers who normally shave their legs at least three times a week let hair grow for a week. We took pictures (no, you won’t find them on Instagram), then asked panelists to shave one leg as usual and use No No and its buffer on the other leg at least three times a week for six weeks. We compared before and after photos.
What we found
Panelists used words such as “prickly” and ?“hairy” to describe how their legs felt after No No. All six said the treated leg was never hair- or stubble-free during the six weeks of testing. Something else that panelists noticed: the smell of burned hair. The final straw? Using No No took far longer than shaving—up to 25 minutes per leg. None of the panelists said they’d want to buy the device, though some described it as “cute.”
Close-up
We tested No No units bought at Amazon.com but found out that the manufacturer won’t back devices purchased from that retailer. According to the manufacturer, the only authorized retailers are Drugstore.com, HSN, and No No’s website. We then tested No No devices bought at trynono.com and HSN, and they performed similarly.
absolutely. You and I both know there is still a very large undeclared short position in ANY hence the continued daily negativity. Why would anybody pay a 100% borrow rate on a $.75 stock. The reason is because they cannot cover. Have a great weekend.
indeed and more to come. Strut better get in line, its sniffin time. LOL
thats right brother. I will even let you have a sniff on the way out so you kiow what real money smells like. LOL
LOL. ANY will go higher into 2016 and beyond.
Agreed. Through $.70 level today and onward and upward.
I am not excusing any ones failures or shortcomings regarding ANY. I like ANY at these levels and expect it to outperform going forward from here. Plain and simple. The past is the past as far as I am concerned as it is the future that I am looking at. Thanks for the good luck. Nothing personal
Like your handle. I am Irish and we get along great with Greeks. I am right there with you. I expect the shorts will execute several attacks today, but the buying continues.
the past is the past Derek and that is where your focus will remain. My future expectations are mine and if I am wrong so be it. I am buying here period.
another great buying and trading opportunity is at hand again. I bought more this morning. Second half 2016 and 2017 will bring increasing revenues and break even. 105% borrow rate on a $.75 stock. I smell a huge undeclared short posotion.
If the share price goes to a $1.30 from $.80 the difference is $.50 and a 62.5% gain. If it does there is a difference.
What if you are wrong and the share price goes much higher? You just don't know, but time will tell.
Thanks.
Non event. Looking forward to higher prices.

very realistic post. 100 million to 200 million market cap would be just fine LOL

Sphere 3D's Partnership with Tech Data Provides End Users a Strong Avenue for Accessing Glassware 2.0 and SnapCLOUD Applications on Microsoft Azure
2016-07-29 08:56 ET - News Release
San Jose, California--(Newsfile Corp. - July 29, 2016) - Sphere 3D Corp. (NASDAQ: ANY), a containerization, virtualization and data management solutions provider, and parent company of Overland Storage and Tandberg Data, is pleased to announce an agreement with Tech Data to work with channel partners that are committed to helping customers expedite their deployment of Sphere 3D's hybrid Cloud solutions through both Azure and on premise private Cloud offerings. Tech Data engineers will provide application and infrastructure architecture guidance, making it easy for resellers and customers to succeed in their hybrid Cloud deployments.
Sphere 3D's Glassware 2.0™ container technology handles the burden of moving line of business and legacy applications to a Cloud model. The availability of Glassware 2.0 on both Azure and Sphere 3D private Cloud appliances ensures that business applications can be delivered through a hybrid Cloud model that is intended to simplify the deployment of those applications, create predictable costing models, scale and bring a new perspective to the hybrid Cloud conversation.
This approach provides organizations the ability to choose which workloads are being placed in the Cloud, while others remain on premise, yet maintains the "vehicle" needed to easily move application workloads from on premise to the Cloud and vice versa. Organizations can now manage large applications, development/test environments, scalability and highly secured applications with the same Cloud concepts, manageability, orchestration, automation, and the pooling of resources.
Sphere 3D's SnapCLOUD™ virtual storage platform supports critical performance and capacity features including high-performance snapshots, replication, and block and file-level access. With the SnapSync™ built-in sync and share functionality, customers also get data access anywhere, anytime on any device without the need for additional third-party subscriptions. SnapCLOUD extends the flexibility and options for customers to obtain unlimited storage in the cloud while maintaining full compatibility with existing SnapServer® and SnapScale® enterprise storage deployments.
Sphere 3D showcased its solutions for the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform, Glassware 2.0 windows containers and SnapCLOUD virtual storage at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) 2016, with partner Tech Data. The solutions run between the Azure Cloud platform and Sphere 3D's on premise private Cloud deployments, creating hybrid Cloud capabilities.
"Sphere 3D's early commitment to Microsoft Azure gives them the advantage of leveraging the broad portfolio of Azure services," said Nicole Herskowitz, senior director of product marketing, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Corp. "We're excited about their partnership to combine their offerings with Microsoft Azure for a natural progression to the hybrid Cloud business model for their partners and end users."
"This is very exciting for our solution providers looking to grow their Cloud businesses. The combination of Sphere 3D and Microsoft offerings will not only allow hosting providers, organizations and MSPs to operate their own compatible instances of Azure, but they'll be able to sell, deploy and manage it in their customers' own data centers," said Chuck Bartlett, senior vice president, Advanced Infrastructure Solutions at Tech Data. "This type of flexibility opens up great opportunities to enhance data privacy or access specialized hardware support for applications while delivering all the benefits of Cloud at the same time."
"As members of the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance, we are pleased to continue to expand our relationship with Microsoft and leverage the full power and roadmap of Azure," said Peter Tassiopoulos, president, Sphere 3D. "Microsoft Azure provides the flexibility our customers want to deploy our Glassware 2.0 and SnapCLOUD solutions in public, private and hybrid Cloud environments. In addition, with the assistance of the expertise available from Tech Data, our partners have excellent support for customer success."

looks like another good trade has surfaced again at these levels. It is unfortunate you lost money. The negativity and hatred on this board is at a very high level again with talks of lawsuits, bad management, and whatever else you want to throw in. MY opinion has not changed regardless of the past. It is now that counts and I expect revenue growth in this past quarter and beyond. If I am wrong so be it. Hope is a dangerous thing, but I see a completely different picture than you do.
Hugo's post has only addressed the deficiency notice itself so I will fill in what he left out.. There is still plenty of time for ANY's share price to go back above $1.00 a share. The clock is particularly amusing. Hugo should adjust his clock to reflect another 180 days or 6 months after the deficiency notice is actually received. Shame on you Hugo. LOL. Enclosed are all the details for a complete de-listing from Nasdaq if that event should happen. Post the following on your fridge so you don't leave out all the details next time.
What Is the Delisting Process for the NASDAQ?
Under what circumstances can a company be delisted from the NASDAQ, and what is the procedure?
Nasdaq
Companies that want to list their stocks on the NASDAQ need to meet a pretty long list of continuing requirements. Just to name a few of them, listed companies are required to:
Maintain a share price over $1.00
Maintain a $1 million valuation for all publicly held shares
Have a minimum number of stockholders – as low as 300, but varies depending on the type of listing
Maintain a minimum amount of stockholder's equity or minimum market value of all listed securities or produce net income above a specified minimum
Distribute annual reports to shareholders
Have a majority of independent directors on the company's board
Have an audit committee consisting solely of independent directors
Adopt a code of conduct applicable to all directors, officers, and employees
Hold an annual meeting of shareholders
Disclose all "material news" – defined as information that would reasonably be expected to affect the stock's value or influence investors' decisions
Pay annual listing fees, which range from $32,000 to $155,000
If any of these, or any other published requirements of the NASDAQ, are not met for a period of 30 consecutive days, the exchange can start delisting procedures.
Deficiency notice
If a company is in violation of the continued listing standards for a period of 30 consecutive days, the NASDAQ sends a "deficiency notice." The most common reasons for a deficiency notice are a share price that falls below $1.00 or a market cap that falls below the stated minimum (as low as $5 million if other requirements are satisfied).
Once a deficiency notice has been sent, the company has 90 days to comply with the continued listing standards, or 180 days if the violation was for a sub-$1.00 share price. In order to be compliant, the company's share price or market cap must rise above the minimum for at least 10 consecutive days in the 90-day (or 180-day) period.
Of course, becoming compliant for violating some of the other requirements is pretty straightforward. For example, if a company receives a deficiency notice for failing to pay its listing fee, the fix is obvious -- pay the fee.
If the company fails to comply
If the conditions that triggered the deficiency notice are not met in time, the NASDAQ will then send the company a delisting letter, which must be disclosed to the public within four business days.
There is an appeal procedure that a company can use, if it feels that it doesn't deserve to be delisted or if it can regain compliance in a reasonable amount of time. Once the company receives the delisting letter, it has seven days to request a hearing with the NASDAQ listing qualification panel to present its case, which postpones the delisting process until the panel makes a decision.
Unless an appeal is filed, the company's stock is halted, and then delisted after seven days. If the appeal is rejected, the company also has the option to appeal to the SEC or in federal court. The NASDAQ gives the company an additional 15 days to do so, but begins its final delisting procedures during that time.
What happens after a company is delisted?
Keep in mind that the delisting of a company doesn't mean that the stock can't continue to trade. Delisted companies can choose to be listed on the over-the-counter (OTC) markets or on the pink sheets. There are some negative implications resulting from delisting, such as a loss of investor confidence, and potentially reduced access to capital, but it's not necessarily a death sentence. Companies can (and have) return to compliance and relist on the NASDAQ after delisting.
interesting trading the last several days. There are buyers here who are accumulating. Daily short volume has been active as well. THat earlier 74.6 k offer was bought.
yes that it is true and the trades have been pretty good. I will let it ride for now and wait to see if I am correct in my assumptions on ANY and where it is going from here. If I am wrong I am sure the regulars will let me know.
Good advice, but I really like what I see developing here.
Thanks. Buy Buy BUY is what I say. ANy is really undervalued
Let us know when you start shorting.
I like the trading on ANY over the last several days and this is the second offer of approximately 85,000 shares that we have seen to day in the $.93 level. The last 85 k plus was bought earlier today. I love the reward potential on ANY and if we go through the $1.00 level, the share price could have a very solid run to the upside. Bottom line is there are buyers and any positive news or developments could be a nice surprise. My recent trade has done very well. Wonder who that major MSP provider is?
WE are going to make alot of money with ANY.
buying again here for another trade. Bid $.78 and into low $.80 level.
yes indeed. I have not sold any of my trading position as of yet but will watch closely. The $.68 to $.74 buys look pretty good now. Good luck on the next round.
HOO BOY is right
