Great advice...
you sold at 16? Now...you can think about your blown opportunity all the way back to NY.
Pleasant flight!
What the heck is Big Ben...
riding a Hayabusa for anyway? He's too big for a crotch rocket like that in the first place. Second, it's not his jaw that should concern the team...but what may have happened to his shoulders...an injury that may not surface for awhile. He's lucky...considering that he wasn't even wearing a helmut.
He should be on a big ole' Hog...or something like I'm gonna get...a 1981 Guzzi LeMans CX100...

And btw...no bones in my albacore...fillets only...smoked over apple wood to a wonderful dark brown hue. Nope...there was none left.
trolling the boards?
Anything is possible.
The Hurricane...a la Jeret "Speedy" Peterson...
Too bad he didn't "stick it"...
Doesn't really concern me, what happens to the brokenhearted.
I'm keeping a watchful eye...from a distance.
Breathe in...breathe out...
Relax.
Pretty darned predictable, actually.
JUST LIKE COCKROACHES IN THE PRESENCE OF LIGHT...
Moxa...Do you know anything about this?
"Filed patent application on proprietary hardware encryption technology."
Consolidation complete?
Geez...is this stock starting to act "normally"?
This is almost getting interesting...
macisle-interestingly...I've never seen anything that really combines/standardizes the storage units...on the scale that mmbull wanted.
Perhaps it was child's play for edig engineers, but at the time, seemed like a prudent device. Maybe that was because we were under the impression that more content was going to be available on a variety of storage mediums. Doesn't seem like a lot of things have "broke" edig's way...and content is key....
Little bit of action, huh?/
Nice little unit. Incredibly small and compact. Doesn't have the volume of a Treo or an O1000, but works just fine. The use of disposable batteries can actually be a plus, when a power outlet is not available.
We can hardly wait. ;o)
The race is on...
Falk continued, ''We are working with satellite and cable providers interested in offering branded versions of our recently unveiled PVPR, featuring 3.5'' and 7'' screens and DAP capability, to their subscribers, enabling them to take their favorite video and audio content wherever they go. These opportunities have the potential for substantial opening orders because of the large installed subscriber bases of these companies.''
Pretty quiet board this morning...which i find rather interesting. Many of the long timers have clamored for falk's dismissal/replacement...and now that he has stepped down, and allowed Atul to lead the charge...everyone of note is "tongue-tied". Hmmmm...
There will be many other competing technologies that are going to attempt to break into this arena, PVPR...and the race is on. I think it's a grand move to have someone in charge of the company that has a more intimate knowledge of the technology, while placing Falk and Ferguson in charge of promoting the platform. While some may view this as shuffling the deck, it appears to me as a long overdue switch from "sales pitch" personnel to a more fundamental, technology based leadership.
And I do agree with Sinkman's astute and welcome analysis...the race is on...
Could be the headphone jack itself, not the internal connection. Try another set of headphones, or try the headphones on your home audio system to see if the short is in the cord.
Don't know if this has been posted...
But it appears that flash is seeing some added exposure as the price drops...

The ability to download analog? Hmmmm...interesting addition to the set-top box. Multiple formats, analog and digital audio and video recording...take it wherever you go....
I like it!
It appears that Fusion is going to test the markets in the next couple of days...see what the interest is from consumers and OEM's alike, fot their technology coupled with the pPVR.
Royalty payments will be based on number of units sold, IMO.
LMAO! eom
Wrong...the issue will be settled shortly...in favor of edig. The $800K will cover engineering fees.
why do you care? Not that it really matters...e.digital, no doubt, has a strong case against F-10...ans has hired a BIG gun.
Hmmm...interesting post. I own a Treo 15 and an O-1000. Wonderful devices that simply sound great. Oh...and the batteries still work fine, thank you.
About the engineers...they still have the same number of engineers that they've had for several years, and the core is still intact. You must be getting erroneous info.
LMAO!...good one. eom
ff-who said it was easy? Further, what evidence do you have that their "solution" is any better than what edig offers?
For years, we have discussed extended battery life as one of the benefits of the file management system edig offers. Do you know of any DAP that has as much storage that has as much battery life on a single charge?
And didn't OBJX/FPLY indicate that the solution to multi-codec/multi-DRM support was fairly straightforward?
If what edig had was not worth trying to copy and/or circumvent, then it wouldn't be worth much, would it?
MH-what's the latest "rumor" on SBLU or OBJX?
Like usual...you are wrong.
But that may have something to do with the fact that you've NEVER tasted my smoked tuna. It may surprise you to what lengths some will go in order to get it...
Cheers...
pre-talked to him Thursday, right before I left for Vegas, and again last night, after I got back. We discussed college hoops, and the unbelievably awesome time I had in Vegas watching the opening rounds of March Madness.
Regardless of what you read here...everything's "fine" in e.Digital land, so I don't pound him for info, anymore. The lights are on, the doors are open, their engineers are busy...
For now. Gotta luv that battery!/
I have to laugh, with amusement, at some of the negativity spewed on this board in regards to the Eclipse item, in particular, and e.Digital in general.
And some want to represent themselves as "all knowing", insightful and clairvoyant, besides being "connected".
Did it ever occur to you that by the time Eclipse decided on a prototype, especially in the audio applications for this device, that technology was "passing them by", and their window for marketing the item narrowed?
I;m not sure that now...the Eclipse device would be that earth shattering a device...for auto apps, you need much more than audio...
Oh really?! Tell that to the shareholders of SBLU...I dare you. And wouldn't the need/desire for survival depend on the breadth, width, and depth of the technology represented?
Look...FF and RP sold enough shares to live quite comfortably on the run-up 3 years ago...so why stick around, if there wasn't any real need to, or if the technology &/or potential wasn't there? Think about it.
Would you have preferred that edig went belly up, like SBLU did? Oh...I forgot...you're not a shareholder so it shouldn't make any difference to you...but it seems like it does...how very odd.
If management had told the shareholders of SBLU that they needed some serious money to stay afloat, while waiting for the markets to correct themselves...do you think that they would have agreed to further dilution, in order to keep their investment alive?
Life support for these types of companies is worse than BK?
OT-actually...my fishing and hunting has taken a "back seat" to my restoration project. Heck...I haven't even gone skiing yet this year! :o(
But that's about to change, as the ski season winds down, I will start hitting the resorts out here.
As far as edig is concerned, I think that there's still plenty of reason for me to stay put. The markets are just now beginning to re-emerge from their 3 year hiatus...and technology companies are just now beginning to pick up some speed. If I saw other competing companies begin to really move forward, then I would be more inclined to agree with "some" of the posters' whinings. But I haven't seen these companies kicking A and taking names, either.
And in spite of austonia's comments, I really like the edig music players....and I'm hoping to see another company step up to the plate with this platform, besides Gateway..although that's no small potatoes.
The technology is solid.
I've got a better idea...first, why don't you copy and paste those emails that have you so dead-set on believing that they have lied to you. Go ahead...list them here for public scrutiny.
Second...why don't you tell this board why you invested in e.Digital. Be my guest, and tell us what this company has, that made you invest your money in it. In this manner, one can decide for themselves whether your claims are legitimate, or whining.
On this page alone...you've posted 16 times...out of 65 posts...that's 25% of the posts. PLEASE! What limit has been established?
TIA...
The real problem, as I read it, is that you are an assistant monitor to this message board. For some reason, it appears that this "right" has given you the necessary priveldge of posting ad nauseum. Even for board monitors...especially for monitors, there should be a limit on how much garbage one can post. This post is just one of many examples of the bandwidth that is wasted.
The concept is simple...this is an OTC stock...by definition, it is a high risk investment, and always has been. Even simpler, is the need for one to do the necessary research in order to stay invested. If you haven't done that, then the result is, no doubt, hundreds of posts discussing minutia and scyballum.
Hope this helps...
RP's not going anywhere.eom
LMAO! Pulitzer material, no doubt!/
Did you? eom
Maybe Mr. Falk should contact Mr. Jobs and tell him about a file management system that preserves battery life. I assume that the iPOD battery is not defective. ;o)
