you have to include the 51 percent ownership as an asset, so your numbers are not even close. That purchase will add massive value to the company so as the share count rises it is offset by value created by the transaction, plus box office income it is generating every day. Nice try shortie!
Investors don't seem to understand how much this data is worth. It will all become clearer in upcoming quarterlies. The one thing investors/potential investors will see immediately is the company's ability to move any film it markets, which creates immediate revenue. We all know the one thing that moves a stock more than anything is revenue. I am expecting impressive income from AA, from theater to dvd. Let's repeat that success a dozen times a year and we will have a monster.
That, right there is what I am talking about. The ability to put asses in the seats is huge. Movies no longer need to be blockbuster status to get people to show up. The company has something huge and they know it. I was wondering why the company was so interested in Indy films and here we have it. The profit they will make from American Animals will be huge based on 1.5 mil investment. I have even more dry powder and will be buying up more of this rocket this am. This is pure brilliance from Mitch.
I will be honest. I got burned a couple of times buying after hours so I don't pay attention to it anymore. I am sure there are a few here that may be able to answer that for you though.
Without a doubt way overdone. I caught the ride from 3 to 30 now I am onboard with.42 to who knows where. One thing is for certain, whoever is still on the short train is about to get their ass burned. Way too many paths to revenue here. Ted and Mitch's confidence says enough but throw in Citadel's 5% ownership we have a winner. I am hoping American Animals and Gotti beat expectations and prove the MoviePass model does indeed put asses in the seats.
He will respond on fb. I don't like what he does either and I surely let him know.
Moxa,
I know you remember the creme results were so good that we tested for other conditions. Those other conditions have never been talked about. What if this was tested on acne and the creme destroyed the bacteria? Is this the reason Hirsch joined a small unknown Israel start up?...for very little compensation, I may add? Take a look at the 8-k on July 10 2017 and the 8-k for July 25th 2017. Oh Shit! You see it now? "MASSIVE" value my friend!
You have no knowledge of what the financials of the deal entails, just like anyone else. You have to understand the value this deal creates substantial value for EFO films, as the app will drive MoviePass customers to the films. The financial deal in question may not hurt as bad as you seem to think. I guess we will have to wait and see.
I understand what "option" means and clarifying the whole catalog, past and future will be included in the deal. Why the "LOL"? Why are you here? If you don't like the company or think they have a chance then move on to a company you have faith in. I didn't notice any "LOL'S" in the recent purchase of over 5% of HMNY shares by Citadel.
Wrong!
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Helios and Matheson Analytics Inc. (Nasdaq: HMNY) (“Helios”) announced today that Emmett Furla Oasis Films (“EFO Films”) has granted Helios the exclusive option to acquire the entire film library and current production slate of EFO Films. The EFO Films library also includes the upcoming titles Boss Level starring Naomi Watts, Mel Gibson and Anabelle Wallis, 2Guns, Escape Plan 2 and Escape Plan 3 starring Sylvester Stallone and Dave Bautista, The Irishman starring Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Jesse Plemons, and The Iconic Video Game ASTEROIDS by ATARI, including others in production, with the goal of 12 to 15 films over the next yearHelios also announced today that it has formed MoviePass Films LLC (“MoviePass Films”) with Emmett Furla Oasis Films (“EFO Films”). Hollywood veterans Randall Emmett and George Furla will serve as Co-CEO’s of MoviePass Films; MoviePass Films’ Chairman of the Board will be Ted Farnsworth. Mitch Lowe will hold a Board seat as well, and Farnsworth and Lowe will work together day-to-day to execute the strategy between MoviePass and MoviePass Films. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, however both parties agreed on a payment in the form cash and stock.
The option is for past and current movie slate. The deal has not been announced and only mentions cash and stock will be used to purchase the entire library.
Most likely yes. This would be an opportunity to sell a massive amount of share while holding sp steady. Expect this to move after lunch when selling stops. jmo
One more piece to the puzzle. I believe under Trump we will see medical marijuana legalized federally. We are in good hands with OWCP. Investors still have plenty of time to buy in cheap, but that will certainly change over the next couple of years.
It will very good news for the industry and expect cannabis pharma to get a little bump from it. I expect with the success of epidiolex big pharma may get a little squirmy. Just one more piece of the puzzle and one day we will have ours. I am all but certain of that.
I am positive this goes back up. I just hope that my "greed" while finding the bottom doesn't bite me in the arse. I am buying in either way on Tue and hopefully I'm not wrong and this goes even lower. Whatever the case I made a small fortune on the first run up I cannot lose.
I hate to tell u but I bought this at 2.97 and sold around 30 dollars. This made me a boat load of money. I didn't sell because my view of the company changed but I saw the greed as the stock reached unsustainable levels. I was going to buy back in last week at .65 but wanted to see if it breached .50. I feel that the bottom is in and am looking to buy in next week. Mitch will work his magic here. His record says a lot and would never bet against him. No offense but I listened to warren Buffet this time and sold on greed and buying on fear. The fear here is way overblown and your post is a perfect example.
Panic selling stopped. No long would ever sell down here. Flippers dominate the action now. I am wondering how much selling is ATM induced? 15 million in the bank I would assume they are selling bare minimum. At the very least 1.5 million shares would need to be sold a day to keep the lights on. With the daily volume over 20mil 1.5 wouldn't affect the price. It def isn't pretty but I believe it will carry us through until major news is announced.
Apples to oranges? Come on man you just wasted my time and yours with that garbage.
One thing that is never talked about is the company is debt free. If one was to compare loss per subscriber after one year for Redbox, Netflix...ect, we are in very good shape and look at them now. We are now generating revs, while not sure of the exact number right now, but reported 1.4 mills in advertising last quarter and surely climbing as management secures more contracts. Lot's of paths to revenue with this company. You will see us go from equity financing to debt financing in distant future. That will take pressure off the stock and allow it to move upward. Mitch Lowe's confidence tells me all I need to know. Expect a larger stake from Verizon also. This will work out and will be a massive runner throughout 2018. Load up while you can because we just hit the bottom at .40
While anything is possible .25 will most likely not happen. You saw the absolute bottom today at .40. Time to slap the ask if you want a piece of this baby as this will become the stock buying opportunity of a lifetime at these prices. The ship is heading out and tickets are nearly sold out here.
While I feel the pain longs are feeling right now I am so happy I held off buying last week and get an opportunity to buy a piece of this company at a price that is nothing more than a once in a lifetime gift from god. This is insane and has to be very concerning to the big theater operators....Is this downward pressure the company selling some shares? intentional psychological warfare designed to speed up the revenue sharing signing and some extra working capital to boot? Today we may hit the bottom here and my checkbook is open.
Sorry about just getting back to your response. We are on the same team here and to refer to some of my post as garbage is rather rude. Repeat we are on the same side. To respond to you criticism, I never said Ziv was the reason the trial is late, just giving another possibility. Ziv had a ton of responsibility in assuring the clinical trial went smoothly. One World Cannabis is the sponsor of the trial and Ziv was the CEO. The responsibilities of the sponsor are vast and here is a list of just a few of the responsibilities. Keep in mind just one misstep can derail a trial and the biggest and most costly misstep that happens regularly with new companies is selecting the right investigator, things can get ugly quickly.
Initially submit an IDE application to the FDA.
Select Investigators qualified by training and experience.
Select Monitors qualified by training and experience.
Submit changes to the investigational plan to the FDA throughout the study.
Ensure the Investigators are compliant with the agreement, protocol
Report Unanticipated adverse device effects
Maintain accurate, complete and current records.
Submit reports regularly within the required time frames to the FDA.
So again Ziv had plenty to keep him busy and as we all know now he was over his head. Whether the delay was just pure inexperience or actual participant dropouts we may never know. Either way it does not matter to me because I am extremely confident the team we have in place will get the job done. A team of this caliber will transform us into a leading cannabis research an development powerhouse (assuming we don't get bought out first.) Have a great day.
They may be exercising some "ATM" capital at the moment, but only short term, as selling at this level is just not sustainable for very long. There is a plan, but details have to stay close to the vest. At 3 million subs we are certainly a force and Helios knows it. Can the struggling theaters take a ten percent hit to the bottom line? Raising prices is not working, so concessions will happen, but quietly. Once we hit 5 million we win. There will be no choice to participate in revenue sharing as we will just block or limit acceptance at the theaters that don't play well with others.(we have already tried this and made AMC customers very unhappy) We are focusing on many different streams of revenue but moviepass ventures is the very beginning of the "NETFLIX" of the big screen and certainly one area of the company that will generate some impressive profits. Picking up great indy films on the cheap than marketing them to our huge customer base is pure brilliance! Hang in there man, we may fall for a bit longer, but if your stomach can handle the volatility I believe with all the paths to profitability the patient will be rewarded many times over.
That's the plan buddy. They don't want a mention at this point. Our tablet and nasal spray will be a big deal, the longer we can remain quiet the more dramatic our entrance into the world of pain relief will become. With hardly any trials ongoing (little do they know)..We are quietly finishing up our phase 1 fibro this quarter, followed by phase 2 3rd/4th quarter this year, with phase 1 nasal spray 3rd quarter this year also. With all the investor concerns about being behind with our studies we may actually be one of the front runners in pain med development.
It is either not the news that investors are looking for or it is still being naked shorted. I believe it is some of both. While I believe today's news as being significant and one more step in the right direction in achieving the growth the company has been diligently working towards and impressively achieving.
I blame the bs on impatience. The recent Wall St. conference again has Hirsch state that short term is of no matter to the company, but long term expects to create "MASSIVE" value. I understand that statement loud and clear. What else do we need to know right now? We know the safety study will complete this quarter, sublingual tablet safety also wrapping up this quarter, MM study ramping up with Dr. Zeevi at the helm. We have a timeline of current trials and estimated completion times. I understand the safety is clearly late but has anyone but myself wondered if a botched safety trial was the reason Ziv and others were let go from the company and replaced with true professionals with solid track records. We may never know what the real reason for delay was but silence by the company may have been the best option considering investor sentiment at the time. Big thing coming my friend, Series A round complete 5 million in the bank and expect series b funding late this year as company truly starts ramping up.
Damn! you have a weak pair of hands man. This investigation has been ongoing for over a year. Any company responsibility in this bullshit fiasco would have certainly come to light already. The worst case is ziv found a lawyer for Jeff, but not illegal. Ethically it is enough to warrant firing his unprofessional ass. Relax dude... the company has a lot going for it, but if you are unable to embrace and trust the new amazing team we have in place, while continuing to bring up the past, you will never make the kind of returns that you know the company is capable of generating for us. Safety trial with positive results along with a mention of marketing in certain areas will start the reversal and set the stage to the return of the great stock it once was. If you read the last 8-k focus on the statement from the CEO that states the money will be used in part to commercialize(bring the products to the market)...sure sounds like some confidence in the trial results and near term sales to me. Also the latest 8-k states there is nothing legally,no criminal investigations or lawsuits that will cause any harm to the company. Imagine the consequences if they lied to the new investor. Every stock carries risk, but the risk reward of this one is off the charts.
I have looked at this company several times over the past couple years and could never get past the deceptive clinical photos showing before and after of Vitastem " Worlds most powerful topical antibiotic". I couldn't help laughing at how dumb some people are with their money. If this product is indeed what it claims there would be no need to alter the photos where the "healed" photos are many times smaller, a lot darker and in at least one the image is clearly not the same subject. I then went to Amazon to look at reviews. Only 10 reviews of the worlds most powerful antibiotic? only 5 verified by the way. The market for this type of drug is enormous, especially if the claims of diabetic foot wound healing are accurate. The claims here are nothing short of amazing and would have big pharma frothing at the mouth to get even a small piece of this technology, but instead the Doc thinks marketing the product in a third world country is the best option for sales??? I call bullshit on this company, way too many red flags for a product that should easily sell itself.
DAMN RIGHT IT IS! I would not bet against the success this guy has had in bringing disruptive companies to the market.
Very good assessment and I would like to add a very simple piece of logic. The company is not worried one bit about running out of cash and have very recently stated the fact, so why are investors so scared. This idea was not some shot in the dark, it is a plan that was well thought out and makes plenty of sense to me. After reading some old articles during the launch of RedBox the similarities are endless. The analysts were saying the 1 dollar was not sustainable, movie theaters and film makers were screaming it was going to de-value the experience of watching a film. Nobody gave RedBox a chance in hell. Well... here we are today with the streets soaked in blood and guts and my favorite time to buy.
Under Ziv's leadership I would have moved on by now. Under Hirsch, the company will thrive. The research is worth investing in and obviously Ziv didn't know his ass from his elbow. We have the right team in place now and fully expect some major announcements throughout the next couple years.I would have to guess the investor that loaned the 5 mil likes what he see's. I can't understand why someone would hold for a year under Turner but sell under Hirsch, and especially with the hiring of Zeevi. I think you believe this will be huge or you wouldn't be hanging around every single day. There are way better flipper's out there. why hang around here? Because you still think this is going to be huge. 31 patents pending is for real my friend. Good luck however you chose to invest but your relentless posting here tells me you are still long at heart.
"Be greedy when others are fearful and be fearful when others are greedy" There is blood in the streets and my favorite time to claim my stake . I originally invested at 3 dollars right before the big run to 38 dollars. I was watching the news at the time and heard that membership had exploded from 20 grand to 200 grand in a matter of days. I bought my first lot after hours and finished loading a total of 5500 shares at the open following day. I ended up selling at 22 and bought back in at 30 then finally sold out at 34. I did quite well and not bragging and sure many others did even better. I sold out because others were all getting too greedy and I knew very well this was setting up for a massive fall. I still believe in the company and feel 38 dollars will come and go in time. Also believe we are about to see one hell of a short squeeze any day. This isn't Mitches first rodeo and was just reading all the negative press when redbox came out, how unsustainable the 1 dollar price per dvd was and all the theaters throwing a fit...sound familiar? The company has a plan and not deterred by all the negative press. They have plenty of committed funds to see this through. May I ask why you have a stop at .54? We all have our investment strategy's, but my experience with them is they almost always get taken out. I am ready to buy back in, but a little concerned at how many stops are sitting at the .50
Well said, man. I too am tired of the b.s and the criticism of the company and my investment strategy. While not that experienced with OTC stocks, I have had a fair amount of success throughout the past 20 + years finding quality companies early and OW is no exception. Unfortunately investing in MJ stocks requires investing in the OTC...with a few exceptions. This is a tough platform for a quality company to trade, as the market cap of the company is at the mercy of traders that could care less about the success of the company. Their strategy is to be critical while we are down and positive while we are up, hoping to make a few bucks by the end of the trading day. This is our reality unfortunately, until major advancements are announced and more investors come on board. It will happen without a doubt and sooner or later most of these penny flipper are priced out and move on.
Won't be long now. Moody's already telling Pharma to invest or get hurt.
Pharmas Under Pressure
Moody’s also warned that pharmaceutical companies will have to be on their toes to counter the growing popularity of legal cannabis. The credit agency said that stocks that specialize in drugs combating pain, anxiety and depression are most at risk of losing out to marijuana, even though many medicines in this category have already achieved generic trademark status.
"Thus far, large, traditional pharmaceutical companies haven't invested heavily in cannabidiol, but that could change if smaller drug makers(GO OWCP!) develop a market for these products," Moody's noted in its report.

OWC was smart in offering the warrants as it's a hedge against shorting the stock if there isn't a bottom at .20.
So the company has stated that there is enough cash for 2018 studies. Why the 5 million we all ask? Hmmm let's think about this and think about the new financing deal with the 9 month conversion window and the 250,000 dividend payment. That is quite a payment for a pre-revenue start-up. The first thing I can think of is the MM study, but that isn't going to take even close to the 5 mil this year and certainly wont generate any revenue to pay that dividend. Research is relatively cheap compared to US. The only thing that comes to mind is SALES!. Sales are going to require some major capital. I believe after safety we are going to start selling product in limited countries and expect Israel will be the first, followed by Australia. There are aprox 150,000 psoriasis sufferers in Israel and let's not forget the creme has been tested for other conditions, which we know nothing about yet. Let's say because we are known and trusted in our home country we sell product to 1/3 of patients and put a price of 30 dollars per month. That alone is 1.5 mil a month in sales and a very good launch pad for future success. We have a monster in the making I believe.
This is not floorless! Alan was very wrong. He has an agenda. There is an exempt clause in the contract that states that. Also the shares paid to NewBridge are warrants and not freely trade-able.
(u) “ Exempt Issuance ” means (i) shares of Common Stock, restricted stock units or standard options to purchase Common Stock issued to directors, officers, consultants or other service providers, employees of or to the Corporation for services rendered to the Corporation in their capacity as such pursuant to an Approved Stock Plan (as defined above), provided: (A) the exercise price of any such options is not lowered below $0.20 per share; (B) none of the terms or conditions of any such options are otherwise materially changed in any manner that materially adversely affects any of the Holders; (C) each such issuance is approved by a majority of disinterested members of the Board of Directors; and (D) issuances by the Corporation relying on this provision (i) may not collectively exceed 5,000,000 shares of Common Stock, restricted stock units or standard options to purchase Common Stock in any calendar year; (ii) shares of Common Stock issued upon the conversion or exercise of Convertible Securities or standard options to purchase Common Stock issued pursuant to an Approved Stock Plan that are covered by clause (i) above issued prior to the Subscription Date, provided that the conversion price of any such Convertible Securities or standard options to purchase Common Stock issued pursuant to an Approved Stock Plan that are covered by clause (i) above is not lowered (other than in accordance with the term thereof in effect as of the Subscription Date) from the exercise or conversion price in effect as of the Subscription Date (whether pursuant to the terms of such Convertible Securities or otherwise), none of such Convertible Securities or standard options to purchase Common Stock issued pursuant to an Approved Stock Plan that are covered by clause (i) above are amended to increase the number of shares issuable thereunder and none of the terms or conditions of any such Convertible Securities or standard options to purchase Common Stock issued pursuant to an Approved Stock Plan that are covered by clause
So we have the confidence of institutional investors to loan us 5 million while certain posters such as The infamous donut boy and his sidekick Mr Small..lle continue to spread SEC bull. Follow the smart money guys not the wannabe penny traders that have not a clue about investing. I have been saying from day one the is the best long term mj play on the planet and many understand and others....well run scared.
You have me baffled. I have never heard an investor call a long term investment "dead money" You are a penny trader? Then no wonder you are upset and sold. Silly boy this stock is for a long term investment only. I take it you never invested in a pharmaceutical company before??? I have about a dozen in my portfolio and they require much patience. They also involve lot's of risk. I love the lower risk of cannabis science because it's been proven effective for centuries, but never had a scientific seal of approval. Another thing that baffles me is why the hell are you still here day after day?
Listen David...An investigation against an insider would most certainly trigger a subpoena for any documentation against Friedland. The SEC want's to win this case and will need any documentation that proved he was hired as a consultant, among others. This is standard basic law enforcement 101. You will do and say anything to make a buck it seems. The thing with you David is whether you are doing someones taxes or manipulating stocks you are stealing someones hard earned money....what a shame!
Not one thing was even mentioned from Friedland, implicating the company... who at this stage would point fingers at anyone to get out of this mess.
