The covid tracker and other items along those lines. I am on my phone and can see the site map changes. Can't tell if the site isually appears different
Website has been updated.
I was told ind app takes 2-4:weeks to review and leo did not seem too concerned about being able to meet manufacturing time frame fyi
Don't appease dishonest people. Out of curiosity, how do u know the astrological signs pertain to ipix and not some other event? Thats always my first thought when I see your predictions.
Do you/we know it was the 19th? I assumed it started the week of May 4th per the april 27th PR
Agreed. Just look at the PR succession. Testing actually began the week of May 4th where May 19th just happened to be the 1st PR update.
The RBL at their own expense tested Brilacidin March and April to see the anti-Covid 19 benefits. That testing was significant enough to get IPIX to fork over $35,000 to get the EC50 value so we can submit an IND for human trials
The big piece of info the company hasn't touched upon pharmaceutical partnerships. We have heard about collaborations and grants.
Ipix will appear more legit in the covid space once we have the final rbl data and preprint doc to pursue a pharmaceutical partner
The company told us what to expect once rbl testing is complete:
"Should laboratory tests support Brilacidin’s antiviral activity against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), and potentially other RNA viruses, the Company will look to expedite research and clinical development of Brilacidin as a potential antiviral therapy via pharmaceutical partnerships, academic collaborations and government grants."
Taken from Feb 24 PR
Preclinical testing will be completed within 2 weeks. So far from the prs its safe to say that tests support brilacidin's antiviral activity against covid 19.
We are in the home stretch. Now is the time to be confident no matter what happens to the pps or what is said to shake things up over the next 2-4 weeks
Well within 2 weeks for completion of rbl. Lots of last minute jitters causing people to express frustration.
Ceo said we should be hearing back on grant mid September based on 2-3 month grant review time frame.
I see how u came to that now. I was basing everything off of todays date. Long story short, based on what we have been informed via pr we will be in human trials by end of year. The way ipix updated investors along the way throughout the preclinical process, I think the ceo will update investors as the p2 trials progress sort of like how the cytodyn ceo keeps its investor up to date with lack of msm coverage.
Ok then the other poster should have said by December and not February based on my calculation . Thanks
What do you think the p2 trial is? Whats so earth shattering about the post?
Unless my math us wrong, within 3.5 months from mid August would mean "by end of december"
Not sure how you came up with February
Its all good. The gmu article that keeps getting posted say research started in May with its collaborators. To be in human trials from preclinical research within a few months is what all the other companies are doing. We are just 3 months late, and i rather be late then not show up at all
Within 2 weeks preclinical testing will be done
Within 6 weeks the preprint peer review doc will be available
Within 3.5 months human trials for covid will begin
To me this suggests march and April covid news bites were ipix going along with outsiders interest in brilacidin. May was a turning point when research began at gmu to get the necessary preclinical data so ipix could submit an app for human trials. We are definitely late comers to the party but research done to date makes it seem our defensin might be the one to turn heads
Great question and concern. Fwiw the person at ipix brought it to my attention they paid the 35k to get the ec50 value which is necessary to submit an ind for human trials.
When they go low we go high
I was looking up MTA and George Mason to see what it entails. GMU does have a pretty thorough description of the process of what needs to be disclosed and when.
As it relates to the link you posted:
I sent 1 email a while back. No response. Wasn't expecting anything. I am not the best at elucidating my question to get a response from someone.
Has anyone else reached out to the gmu researcher narayan?
When I google selectivity index and covid, I dont really see that many drugs referring to this data set. I see Gilead and hydroxy refer to it back in February, as well as ipix prs, but I don't see any of the other hundreds of company's saying its a high point of interest in covid 19. Is it because we are so far behind in clinical research? Hoping for a sprint once the rbl is finished.
Looking for a boost when Brilacidin goes from being listed as preclinical incomplete and jumping immediately to P2
There are spreadsheets galore that track vaccines and therapeutics
There are 358 therapeutics being researched with 272 in human trials and 87 still in preclinical. We are one of those laggards in preclinical.
Hopefully the company gives us a course of action once the RBL testing is complete how we get from where we are to human trials.
IPIX referenced a certain AMP article in their Brilacidin profile
Fingers crossed today will be a good day, but pre market volume (albeit small) has never been a good indicator for me in otc stocks. Might be a day of small blip and then heavy volume plop. Could be the last of shares being unleashed before a pop. there is nothing substantiated behind this post other than prior experience
It takes up to 4 weeks to review an IND. we are waiting on the data from the RBL this month. Estimate calls for Q4 this year. That's all I have been able to come up with.
maybe others who have a better idea at cost of human trials can answer. I assume we can just outsource to pro's if need be. We do have access to cash now
June 11th
This is the wording the company used to describe the grant in collaboration with the RBL:
GMU probably had a specific timeframe. IPIX mentioned testing at the RBL started the week of March 16th. We'll hit the 5 month mark this weekend. Most likely we get confirmation by end of this week that testing will wrap up next week or there will just be radio silence till IPIX announces in vitro testing at the RBL is finished and now the company is submitting their IND to the FDA for human trials
Either way it's a win-win
Obviously flipppers would want news sooner than later. I think the key to either option is that the company must state they will be submitting their IND to the FDA this month. That doesn't hold them to a date, but at least it says it will be done before september alleviating concerns about timing.
if covid isn't a big threat anymore, someone tell that to the schools down here in florida. my kids school was set to open next week and just sent an email saying they had a change of heart and it will be virtual again this year.
the timing of brilacidin rbl results this month come at a good time. maybe make brilacidin awareness campaign to the ptas and schools. hey, it might clear up their ibd while they stave off covid
can we back up about a month where there was a rumor of a grant hearing that a few people had the link to but did not want to share with the board. i dug something up which other people were able to find, yet none of the 'informed' longs wanted to confirm or deny it. i don't recall if you were one of those posters with the hunch. how is this message board supposed to be utilized other than entertainment and/or venting?
I assume we had a 5 month arrangement with the RBL. As announced on March 12th, "Testing is scheduled to begin the week of March 16," so that would put an end date the week starting Sunday, August 16th IMHO
Be bored. Sit tight. Don't overthink. I am glad t/a is humoring some of you. i was a big t/a otc/otcbb believer at one point. Volume is missing from the equation here as well as institutional ownership IMHO
yes, by using the phrase IMHO, i am letting you know this is just my opinion that may or may not agree with your opinion
Comparing Brilacidin to drugs of other pinksheet stocks is all I am seeing here. There are over 500 candidates according to the latest milken institute covid tracker. i am sure there are much better comparisons to brilacidin
from the company website
If ipix and tbe rbl have only compared brilacidin to remdesivir, whats the sense comparing other drugs and try to downplay brilacidin? I know people are either excited cause they own the other stocks mentioned or frustrated cause they have dead money for now in ipix but that should be changing shortly
Anything is possible
Unless they are phantom bids just trying to create volume.
I would be more interested to know what's with all the 300k bids this morning
That is a very important piece of tbe puzzle here
Gmu starts research in May
The first thing they will do is determine ec50 value
Next tbey will see if it has virus killing potential
We already have the ec50 since we have subsequently heard that brilacidin is anti covid19
In June the the rbl submits a new grant to switch to in vivo research as well as pan coronavirus ability
Leo has the news and it is being released out of order.
You are correct,, there was no ipix pr in reference to the 35,000 comment, it relates back to my call to the company last week. I assume it was leo. He said just to carefully read the prs and he brought up the fact they got a great deal to get the ec50 for just 35,000
I wouldn't read too much into my post. Its just my take on the conversation
From your finger tips to the pr God's printing press. I prefer under promise and over deliver
Just wait for Flu season. We are still in wave 1 in the US. We flattened the curve but our deaths are still on their way to 200k. Imagine if we didn't flatten the curve? I thought fauci promised (or trump) we would have peaked at 60k deaths in the US.... sarcasm
Flu season comes pretty much as hurricane season ends. Diagnostics will be key to determine if symptoms are flu or covid19. I believe the timing of our human trials will coincide with an uptick of the virus and a new strain that appears resistance to the convalescent plasma theory in wave 2.
Warp speed is nice that it gets the drugs in the forefront at never before seen speeds, but the negative is does the drug actually have a statistically significant anti-covid19 result?
I assume i spoke with leo last week and it helped fill in some blanks as to where we stand and where we are heading. i believe the $30 million with aspire is to fund human trials. The $6 million was just to put money in the bank to be taken seriously upon our upcoming IND
i don't believe we will have any ipix grants comign before human trials. the person on the phone said 2-3 months to hear back on grants... no mention that ipix submitted any apps for human trials. only an app to go from in vitro to in vivo and to study brilacidin as a pan coronavirus therapeutic.... is that in vitro again? does that really do any good at this point of the game?
