Wish I’d waited a few days before loading up on this thing. Could’ve gotten a better bargain
I have never seen so much manipulation. To think we saw the end of this two weeks back. The entire industry is red this whole week. But, I do expect a bounce back like we saw last time. Nothing falls forever and this is falling for no reason other than shorting across the industry. People place stop losses and this is what happens when MMs and shorters take advantage of them. Quick plummet and then an even faster rise up. I don’t expect shorters to hold this through the weekend.
Don’t think that’ll happen for another quarter or two.
Short squeeze in effect
Maybe, maybe not. But let’s see how this fares in the coming days. Too many people here have said this was heading to the trips and it still sustained it’s PPS. I’m interested in seeing where this goes by July.
This is huge! Keyword is child resistant packaging. ACOL seems like will be doing fairly well in Canada then.
Cannabis Industry Group Announces National Standards, Starts With Marijuana Product Packaging And Labeling
1/24/18, 6:03 PM
January 24, 2018 03:30 PM ET (BZ Newswire) -- News
One of the consequences of cannabis remaining federally illegal is the lack of unified standards for operating businesses. Every state, municipality and jurisdiction compels marijuana businesses to fulfill certain requirements and, on occasion, these requisites collide or are in direct conflict with each other.
Some jurisdictions allow for certain pesticides at grow operations, while others ban them. Some require every cannabis product to come in a childproof package, while others don’t. Some forbid any sort of cartoon character or anything attractive to minors on the labels, while others don’t. No real, national standard exists for pot products.
Fortunately, the end of this era starts Wednesday, as the National Association of Cannabis Businesses, or NACB, the marijuana industry's self-regulatory organization, is releasing national standards, starting with the NACB Packaging and Labeling National Standard. The upcoming standards have been conceived to help the association’s members protect consumers while proving the industry's ethics and responsibility to regulators, financial institutions and the public.

For the next month, the NACB Standard will be available at www.NACB.com for the public to review and comment on the upcoming regulations. Once in effect, all NACB members will be obliged to abide by them.
“The NACB believes self-regulation is the most effective course of action for our members to control their own destiny in the face of regulators' growing need to intervene,” said Andrew Kline, the group's president and a former federal prosecutor. “The creation and adoption of national, voluntary standards that are aligned with regulators' priorities takes input from government, NACB members, and subject matter experts into careful consideration. Through this process, the SRO identified product packaging and labeling as our first priority because it impacts so many issues related to health and safety.”
The NACB’s new guidelines will address:
Child-resistant packaging;
Packaging and labeling that is not appealing to minors;
Consistent labeling, explicitly mentioning where the products come from and who if anyone processed them;
Warning statements related to the health risks linked to the use of marijuana;
Recommendations for people to avoid driving and operating heavy machinery while under the effects of cannabis, cannabis-infused products and cannabis-derived products;
Ways to properly list ingredients in any product;
How to comply with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration’s guidelines for the listing major food allergens and other related information; and
The types of health and medical claims that cannabis products can and should make.

How Public Companies Are Affected
How will these new standards affect publicly traded cannabis companies like MedReleaf Corp (OTC:MEDFF) or Canopy Growth Corp (OTC:TWMJF)?
“Until cannabis is legal nationally, it will continue to be a challenge for public companies to invest in the industry,” Kline said. “That said, the intention of all our standards is, again, to demonstrate to regulators, the public and all others — including public companies, top tier banks, etc. — that our members operate at the highest standards of ethics and responsibility, and thus are solid companies with whom to partner.”
As privately held companies adopt the standards, some of the larger companies operating in the U.S., such as Cronos Group Inc (OTC:PRMCF), Aurora Cannabis Inc (OTC:ACBFF) and Aphria Inc(OTC:APHQF), will likely have to abide by these rules as well in order to remain competitive.

Possibly. But from all the excitement here we may not see that until after the run. This is currently very undervalued.
Get ready for $15 folks! Heck even $20!
Sold this and got out a few weeks back. Manipulation taking place for sure. This stock should be past $2. Looks like it dropped back down today and closed that gap which is a good sign. But not sure what’s happening here.
Looks like it won’t slow down until upper B.B. is hit at around $13 as usual. Look at previous runs.
Looking to break $11.83 today, the 52 wk high. If it breaks. We should see a whole new round of buying.
This heading past $12 this week. Probably $15 range with good news. This is still highly undervalued.
Uhh...you’re just stating things I’ve said in a different manner. More sales is more cash. How are they to uplist or even produce nice financials without more cash? Cash is king. They need profits to get larger investors and gain more traction. This stock is still highly speculative and everyone here is speculating that things will pay off. They’re in a hot market and it seems like they’re doing things right and things are starting to look better for them. And they ARE still young. Not every mom and pop shop can grow to this size over night. It takes cash to grow a company and they haven’t had much cash hence the large SS. They’re still growing which is why they’re heading to a larger facility and producing new products.
That’s true and I still am. But I’m also realistic. I don’t believe in giving folks here a false outlook of things. It never works and it’s just plain wrong. I’m still very heavily invested here and that’s why I continue to post. I still think this is highly undervalued considering the amount of potential this company is showing. People are slowly noticing this stock and I’m sure it’ll be taking off soon enough. But in terms of realism, we have to keep in mind this company is still growing. Talks of share structure needing to change and top notch financials probably aren’t going to come true yet. It’ll take some time. They need cash and loads of it to change SS and produce nice financials. This year is going to be a good year for them to grow that cash. Canada is going live July 1st and CA just went live and we’re already hearing that the company’s sales have spiked up as a result. This is all good news. Keeping my fingers crossed here! GLTA!
This is all my opinion and you should all do your own DD as always!
Sure thing. I’ll hope that it is different. But I won’t get my hopes up.
Yes I saw. But did you see the effect it had on PPS? None. Zip. Zero. That’s why don’t place your hopes on financials with this stock yet. People don’t care right now. They’re living the hype. They want news and big nice juicy news. That’s the only thing that’ll drive this up. We saw this happen last year when it ran to .05. Been here too long and have seen too many folks here come by and start the whole financials hype only to be disappointed when financials do come out and there’s a sell off.
I wouldn’t put your bets on the 10k nor advise others to do the same. We’ve seen this scenario before multiple times. The 10k most likely will not be that stellar but I think as they’ve proven before, it will be an improvement. This company is still in it’s early growth stage, so financials aren’t going to be the factor that will cause a run. It is still undervalued and under noticed. That is the issue. But it won’t be for long. As Canada grows nearer, I’m seeing more and more people joining this board and buying up. That’s why during last week when every other stock bled daily, this stock bled a little and held its ground. Was really surprised by that honestly. I expected this to bleed to .01 as larger stocks bled more. This is still cheap for new investors to take a chance on. Regardless, I think this will go up as July comes nearer. We are already seeing this come to fruition. I’m sure more deals and good news are on the way as there are still many things in the pipeline. Just don’t place your bets on fins though. Not yet.
Agreed. Don’t get too discouraged with today’s price action. Very low volume and still showing a thin ask. Just not as much action today it seems.
A buyback is not in the near future. If you’ve looked at their financials you’d see why. This company is very young and still small. It’s still in the growth stage. They need to build cash and that’s what they’re attempting to do now. They’re slowly becoming profitable. I would not see a buyback until about another solid year or two of profitability. They need to have a solid cash base which they are slowly trying to gain through CA legalization and Canada legalization. Their products are very popular it seems on social media and has great reviews as well. Think it’s a matter of time.
It isn’t so far fetched as we might think. Any of these big guys could think about purchasing this company in the long run. Especially since now the Canadian govt is interested in it and has positive opinions of the product. Just some things to keep in mind :)
All imo.
I would say to be patient. It’s frustrating waiting but maybe have your funds diversified so you don’t get as annoyed with the lack of movement on this one. This is going to run for sure. Canada is getting nearer to legalization and this is gearing up for a run. Keep in mind where we are compared to where we were about 2 months ago. Some folks are up over 100%. And that is just the beginning in my opinion. This is going to most likely surpass .05 as we near legalization in Canada. Also they have CBD products manufacturing that is still in pipeline and other events. We will most likely see these guys probably bought out by one of the bigger players. Aurora has so much cash it’s ridiculous. Seems like this is a key product all these big guys need to distribute their cannabis. In the long run it may prove beneficial for them to just buy out the company than to keep purchasing the product from them. We shall see where things go. But it looks like it’ll be going up from the look of things.
All imo. Do your own DD.
Nice that’ll remove the fear of Sessions and send us back up higher.
Back to $11 we go!
This is huge!
USA MJ legalization bill introduced in Senate and House
Keep calm. It’s going up steadily. I’d rather have this go up slow and steady instead of like a rocket only to collapse back down like last time. This time we’ve got solid holders and support. I think this will continue to go up steadily and break past .02 this week. Don’t lose hope yet lol last week was a blood bath in the cannabis sector and this was one of the few stocks that held steady which was surprising.
Let’s see if we can reach .05 first. And .03 before that.
Slow climb up to .03 and beyond. Expect news to keep coming
Should hit .019 today at least
Looks like bleeding is over and cannabis stocks are heading back up!
It looks like last week’s bleeding is over as well ! Get ready for a green week!
Finally! They’re kicking up their PR a notch!
Well ACOL this is the news that is going to send is rocketing up finally to .03 at least! Here we go! Someone said golden cross? Well I think it’s here !
