Travis - what research about joseph kristul have you found that concerns you?
This is why I go commando
Can you post the note?
I 100% agree with that. While I get that dreams are great, putting hope that ppg would cover a 20M dollar deal on their call is not realistic. They are a multi billion dollar corporation, and 20M is a rounding error on their books. Strategically they did talk about California which means they are paying attention to the regulatory environment, and from a strategic point of view they needed to address that. PPG very well maybe the F500 company, there is nothing that they said that precludes it.
stressing day to day with the hope of an annocement is also not needed. An annocement will come. That is inevitable. As long term holders, we can only hope that it is bullish news and they are progressing against their commitments.
If someone believes in the company and (for me) believes that regulations will change the poly market, then the day to day drama is background noise. I think that the share structure is the only systemic risk, if you believe that Hcti is getting well positioned in the poly industry. The day to day price movement is also background noise, for the most part.
In a broader sense the market as a whole in under attack. The s&p does not normally move top to bottom 70 points in a day and the vix does not normally pop like it has. A bearish point of view would say that the down turn in the market will rip across all sectors, which it is. While the OTC market is more decoupled, I believe it is not fully protected. However, we have seen HCti show some relative strength. I see this as a bullish sign.
Just me 2 cents
which equity firm?
Not sure I understand. Who showed that it didn't test well?
The professors e-mail address is on the article. Maybe try emailing him and ask if it is a partnership with industry and if the research completed by Oleg is part of his study?

I agree on getting organized, if people are serious about helping to tell the story. This would require a coordinated effort.
Also, I think that helping to bring awareness to the problems associated with traditional products would be make sense. We can reach a large audience on product review sites and construction blogs.
GreenCoat is actually not a product, but in reference to our show, which is in about a week in San Antonio, Texas. It is a coatings show that has technical presentations, networking opportunities, committee meetings, and an exhibitor hall.
Any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

I 100% agree that the health of Simpson's books is not too relevent.
I have contacted the EPA regarding the SNUR. Obviously, they can not comment on what the outcome will be, but my gut says it will be approved.....as they are trying to determine the way to deal with "larger ongoing use claims than expected. I am not an expert in the EPA or the scope impact of the ruling, but see this as a positive.
According the EPA's website, the planned final ruling is June 2016....but this is subject to delays.
The Proposed Toluene Diisocyanates (TDI) and Related Compounds Significant New Use Rule (SNUR) (available at http://www.regulations.gov/#!documentDetail;D=EPA-HQ-OPPT-2011-0976-0001) has not yet been finalized. EPA is currently discussing options for how to address the unanticipated high-percentage (>0.1% by weight) ongoing use claims submitted during the public comment period for the proposed SNUR, and whether and how we can finalize the SNUR.
EPA updates our Regulatory Agenda several times per year. Here (http://www.reginfo.gov/public/do/eAgendaMain?operation=OPERATION_GET_AGENCY_RULE_LIST¤tPub=true&agencyCode=&showStage=active&agencyCd=2000) you can find a link to the SNURs that are in Proposed or Final Rule Stage by looking in the section labeled “EPA/OCSPP.” If you click on the “RIN” link, you will find the latest regulatory timetable for the SNUR. These dates are subject to change.
In response to your specific process questions, for Significant New Use Rule development on existing chemical substances there is not a completely standard timeline since each case may involve unique concerns. However, the time frame for developing and publishing a Proposed Significant New Use Rule is typically 10-12 months, and the time frame for finalizing and then publishing the Final Significant New Use Rule is typically another 10-12 months. In addition, any complicating issues can of course add considerable time to these processes. You can learn more about Significant New Use Rules for existing (and new) chemical substances at http://www.epa.gov/reviewing-new-chemicals-under-toxic-substances-control-act-tsca/epa-actions-reduce-risk-new#SNUR.
I think that Simpson filled for bankruptcy late year too. So I think that you are saying that he is experienced....but they had problems of their own. Bankruptcy does not mean anything specifically about their business, as many business go through that. However, I was just sharing something I bumped into on the internet.
EPA SNUR -
I think that this is a link to the SNUR under consideration by the EPA and mentioned in a previous HCTI PR.
http://www.regulations.gov/#!docketDetail;D=EPA-HQ-OPPT-2011-0976
It is not clear to me the specific impacts that it will have on HCTI or how long the EPA takes to issue a final ruling.
ST Gagged - This is old news, but.....
E-mail to the ST -
Can you send me the share structure for HCTI? I would be interested in the shares outstanding and authorized.
Answer -
It's HCTI's request. We provide this information for other company with their authorization.
The company doesn't provide such information to individuals. Please contact them directly at ph.650-491-3449 whit any further questions.

How do you find that information?
Did they mention that they will announce names of their partners at that point in time?
A couple of observations/research:
- Rohm and Haas merger with DOW occurred in 2009 (according to Wikipedia). So unless DOW continues to use the brand name, there product was put to market a while back.
- One of the Bona products has a date of 05/15...so it is longer than the 11/15 time frame....does not mean anything.
- Simpson Coatings, the manufacture, filed for a bankruptcy on Jan of this year. I am not sure if they have emerged from bankruptcy...but it might be concerning
- Papken S. Der Torossian, Director - from NanoTech Industries - through some research seems to have been involved with some challenged companies.
- Mr. Kristul also had some challenges in his previous companies. It was kind of a weird mix of a mortgage business that turned (post 2007) into a communications company with microwave towers. To be fair, I do believe that the mortgage industry in the 2007 timeframe was not his friend.
Obviously, nothing above really means anything, but just some information from the google machine.
Anyone have some confirmed good news?
There are a couple of former NanaTech Industry employees on LinkedIn, it might be interesting to get their point of view. Anyone try reaching out to any of them?
Thoughts?
What are you talking about?
So which changes was he referring to? That made him concerned?
