Just a shame even an offer considered to be premium offer to be ur current valuation would be a terrible steal and a nose punch to current longs
At 6 bucks and a few pennies it would suggest Mayo’s batting average is in the slough hole . Here’s hoping ( yep , hope is a terrible investing buddy) that whiffs turns into solid hits this year
We’re always a penny late and a pound light .: every 30 penny push a is always met with a pound down except maybe twice a year when we advance a few puny dollars
Yes it is .. I support replacing Chris
Market goes up we go down lol
Market booming .. true my 3 percent is sucking bad but my 97 % is doing just fine as well my angus , they too are doing great !!
Ya hard to pull the plug . Hard to sell at 6 dollars as the drop to 0 is no more hurtful than the drop from 12 to 6 and barely a bruise considering the drop from 30 so I stay in with enough shares to acquire my 911 or some other incredible wheels … so I can wait a little longer
SAB. Yes the longer we wait the quicker we become richer !!
Well we all know bios ( non revenue ) are basically binary investments but the boss has strung this one out for a LONG time while collecting a nice salary but increasing opportunity costs for most retail smucks like me . Now I read approx 8 trillion cash still on sidelines potentially making these markets even fatter and putting your dire market prognostications even further off side ..
S&P500 at all time highs .
You’re better off if you never see them . That’s what the ignore button is for
Good news and price appreciation would help
My projections … I sold 60 percent of my shares past February at 10.41 .. I do believe it took only one or two wonky placebo treated patients to put us outside the p- value limits of success so close .. maybe close enough for some sort of pass but not holding my breath .. I believe our drug can help some ALZ patients but again maybe close enough for pass but not holding my breath. .. hopefully we get approval before I get too old to drive my 911
Sab
I think it seems you have mostly been wrong … it seems if you had simply flipped a coin you would have a better track record of predicting the movement of the share price
That’s why I put it on ignore
Better than a lottery ticket !
I / we ain’t so lucky
If we don’t have anything new and fresh and appealing to tell the world , then why would we show up ?
I do hope we get new , different , and positive speech from the boss today
Sorry this one broke the camels back . Putting you on ignore
You know ‘ the placebo effect ‘ in challenged children is a strange thing but obviously , easily explained , as there must be only one reason . As the child simply cannot understand the concept of a trial or even possible positive outcomes the child ( the ones on a sugar pill ) simply cannot ‘ fake ‘ positive outcomes but the observers with an emotional attachment to the trial and any possible treatment simply become unable to objectively measure and answer all questions .
Anavex has done some nice work trying to understand how this works and I believe it’s all part of the strategy of precision medicine and the use of biomarkers and the collection of all data in case an argument needs to be made , but after saying that , the share price and market cap is so disappointing
I was bouncing between INMB and here few times but here last few months for the ‘ great’ Rett data release.. even more reason for me to applaud this great turn of events
‘At this point, I wonder if cash resources might be better used for some small, and cheaper, proof of concept trials using 2-73 (or perhaps even 3-71) in some of the other indications that have sat forever on the back burner.‘
No throwing money at proof of concept , you got to be out of your mind . So frustrating .. after almost 9 years Chris has created no value .. I think I would rather loose decisively and move on then to sit here in purgatory with no chance of ever winning .
Idk .. the Avxl team needs to learn to do one thing well before they try to do more things .. it’s just basic
I don’t know about guts .. he gets paid a salary regardless .. I do think there is enough therapeutic value to push for some sort of approval. The damn vagaries of these underpowered subjective type trials particular for children have snookered us for the moment but all these new hires ; they need to produce and get us value for the investments the company has made and really, give the sufferers an option that may work better
They have reviewed and understand why placebo outperformed relative to drug .. so no since keeping your head stuck in the sand
Also as an aside keep in mind that the placebo effect is in action for all patients both those on drug and place
And that is my point … but much less likely to be embellished or the degree if improvements are real and substantial enough to lack doubt so ya likely more exaggerated reporting of positive actions from the non medicated group .. I mean the child does not grasp the meaning of a trial or how drugs are approved and simply cannot improve themselves with positive feelings and the like during this period of trial time .. it’s just stupid or immensity inefficient in obtaining factual or truthful depiction of drug performance
Well I don’t know for sure but if I’m a parent and the only hope is this drug I probably will ( with no prior knowledge of its performance or whether my girl is on the drug or not but if I see something just the impression or my imagination believes in a positive impression AND my little girl is actually on the drug I’m probably going embellish some what as i really want to have the drug approved for my little girl so you know these questions are way too subjective in the context that there is way to much emotion involved .. but seizures and the number of seizures or chemical data or size of brains and the like or biomarkers and gene expression with correlation with effect should be given more weight ( much more weight ) so I think I a week or so we see a deeper dive into the data ( hope so anyway ) with many positive impressions
Ya I need something
The explanation is very plausible .. a small n with varying degrees of disease progression randomly placed into separate arms of the trial could cause distortion and would cause distortion with respect to traditional accepted pass fail protocol.. I believe Acadia had twice or more participants than Avxl which simply by laws of randomness would have reduce distortion so you know a buying opportunity today
Really , I just want good data .. it makes no difference
DBL7 I’ve been imagining since 2015 . Time to bring this image into 3D .
Hard to run when every 5 percent gain is met with a right hook
I must say biotech has been in a bear market ( I think never before has biotech seen 3 consecutive losing years ) and my fault I didn’t trade/ sell at 30 but still I sold many at 20 the first run up and true I haven’t yet added the 911 to my fleet so kinda bugged out about that , so reality is , what it is on any given day . But still , to be honest a market cap close to a billion with no revenue even in the face of many many naysayers probably ain’t so bad . But I’m still bemused why someone of your intellect would have close to 23000 posts on an anonymous message board . Is it simply altruism at its finest or perhaps an agenda at play here
I used to think some here were just sharp biotech investors but I’ve come to believe some of those are just great soft bashers
Yes but spike to 10.30 yesterday created a lot of volume. That seems absent today . Volume today be only 40 percent of yesterday
He will die someday . I will not send sympathy card. The world will continue like he never existed
Leo .. it’s all good
Yes finally you see !!! Great stuff !!
