April Will be Great for OGI, Heres Why:
1) See the "WEEKLY" chart, 50DayMA has just crossed north of the 20day Moving average.
2) MACD has just made it's first move towards turning positive as well.
From what I see, the downtrend has turned, the bears are out and the bulls have taken over.
This week we will see confirmation..

The following catalysts to look forward to:
April 5th - New Cannabis ETF starts trading
April 10 - Legislation
April 25th - Financials being better than expected
The following can be expected in April as well, date can be any time:
Public Online Cannabis Grow Results
2 New Grow rooms recieving final approval by Health Canada
Additional production room to be inspected (End of April)
Recertifivation of ECO-Cert (not a big deal, Organigram is now focusing on non-organic, as the market for higher paying organic clients is very small)

Looking forward to the new CEO on Monday.
Should be some great news coming with it.
And you are right, that's all officially in the past, OGI moving forward nicely.
Clarification from Health Canada on myclobutanil and cannabis
"Here are the facts. When the cannabis plant is combusted, a number of compounds are produced, including very low amounts of hydrogen cyanide. Health Canada's analysis of the recalled cannabis products show that the trace levels of myclobutanil that were present would have produced a negligible amount of additional hydrogen cyanide upon combustion, in comparison to the levels already produced by marijuana alone. Specifically, the level of cyanide from the burning of myclobutanil found on the cannabis samples is more than 1000 times less than the cyanide in cannabis smoke alone, and is 500 times below the acceptable level established by the U.S. National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. As such, the risk of serious adverse health consequences resulting from the inhalation of combusted myclobutanil in the recalled cannabis products was determined by Health Canada to be low."
https://www.canada.ca/en/health-canada/news/2017/03/clarification_fromhealthcanadaonmyclobutanilandcannabis.html
In addition to that, the Doc said the Plaintiff had the rare cannabis (call it an allergy) "Cannabis Hypermemesis"..
"24. In October 2016, Ms. Downton attended an appointment with a gastroenterologist regarding her rapidly deteriorating health condition. The specialist advised Ms. Downton that her symptoms were unusual for someone who was not a habitual, longtime cannabis user, for whom such symptoms may otherwise indicate cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome. Ms. Downton was referred for a diagnostic MRI to obtain further information.
25. Ms. Downton ceased consumption of the Affected Product in October of 2016. Approximately one month after ceasing consumption of the Affected Product, Ms. Downton’s symptoms of nausea and vomiting significantly improved."
Also, the Plaintiff is only seeking to be reimbursed a CASH refund instead of the credit that OGI has offered... miniscule...
"30. In this action, the Plaintiff seeks, on her own behalf and on behalf of the Class:
a) disgorgement of the benefits that accrued to OrganiGram as a result of its wrongful acts and omissions; and
b) damages in the form of total funds required to establish a medical monitoring process for the benefit of the Class Members."
Organigram How a Misunderstood Recall Created A Rebound Opportunity

Great news. Glad to have you on board Yoda.
OrganiGram’s new CEO is top-tier hire, says PI
OrganiGram’s (TSXV:OGI) new boss is getting the thumbs up at PI Financial.
Yesterday, OrganiGram announced that it had hired Greg Engel to replace Denis Arsenault as CEO. Engel was recently the CEO of Tilray.
“We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to find and recruit Greg,” said Arsenault. “Greg emerged as the leading candidate following an international search. His experience and leadership will be instrumental as we enter the next phase of our growth. He added: “It has been three years to the day since I joined Organigram and I’ve achieved most of my goals as company CEO and believe it’s time for me to pass the torch to a seasoned executive with demonstrated leadership skills. I will stay active in the areas of investor relations and capital markets and look forward to working with Greg as he leads us through our next phase of expansion.”
Engel thinks OrgamiGram can reach the very top of its peer group.
“I consider this appointment an outstanding opportunity,” he said. “Organigram is poised to become one of the world’s leading marijuana producers; it will be gratifying to be part of a leadership team that helps the company achieve its goals.”
Zandberg commented on the news.
“We believe Greg Engel is a top-tier hire,” said the analyst. “During his tenure as CEO of Tilray he oversaw the creation one of the broadest lines of extracts for a Canadian MMJ licensed producer. Tilray launched 20 different extract products, including liquid capsules, drops, vaporizer oils, oral sprays and topical oils. This experience fits nicely with OrganiGram who have been building its own expertise in extracts.”

OGI Expansion news coming soon. Im guessing that's why they've added the "Products we are working on" section to their website.

Looking great for OGI. Next week will be strong.
Interesting numbers and chart behaviour. MACD crossed back to Bullish..
Huge bull volume coming in.
Here's a quote from a post one guy made on another message board - Stockhouse.
All credit to this user "Yardsale"
"Nice volume today with a raising share price.
Here's just something I follow as part of my DD:
The amount of share trades during the day versus volume of shares sold; or average shares per transaction.
Looking back over the last 4 months the average number of shares per transaction has been around 1000. Some days slightly more, some slightly less. ~ So about 100 000 shares in volume for every 100 transactions.
Have a look it's quite consistant. lol.
The highest volume day yet for OGI, (Nov 16, 2016) which was also the day of the 52 week high was 1000 shares per transaction on average.
On Nov 3, 2017 (first day of trading after the first recall) we had an average share per transaction of just over 1100.
Today, the average was 1850 shares sold per transaction. Almost 2x the amount for the past 4 months.
If a higher number of shares per transaction indicates that big (smarter?) money is buying in, then this could be saying something.
One of the very few times in the last 5 months that the average shares per transaction was this high was September 30, 2016. (2240 SPT)
Over the next 12 trading days, the share price went from $1.70 at open to $3.00 at open. A 76% increase..."

CGC and OGI are my two holdings right now.
Both undervalued for what they have coming.
Organigram will emerge stronger following recalls says ted ohashi

OGI closes above the 20dayMA/Middle BB today.
The Bullish MACD cross is also confirmed today.
Looking to hold these crosses for the end of the week as we're looking at a nice reversal here.
GLTA OGI is looking great.
If OGI closes above 2.69, we see the first MACD cross with a BULL momentum since November 22. 2016.
Notsaying,Justsaying
Looking to close above the 20day MA. That would be a great bull sign for OGI.
Few people realize that Organigram has some non-organic strains...
The kinks are getting worked out IMO. There obviously was some unintentional cross-contamination between their organic and non-organic growth. This is why being "Organic" has a huge barrier to entry. Not every LP can just easily switch to having a portion of their crops organic because of this reason. OGI is figuring it out at a good time. Once Rec hit's it would be much more risky to start the implementation of an organic sector to your business.
The alternative options are using pesticides on all their product. Think of inhaling the actual thing that has been sprayed. It's not like you can wash it off like you would a fruit.
That's why Organic weed is much better than various other organic products.
Just my opinion bud. Goodluck!
Why would they want to shake investors out?
Unexpected high demand over the holiday season.
The recall amount is under 35kg, almost all of it unsold product.
Good news it is a contained and small amount. Looking to find out if it was an organic pesticide or not.
Can anyone comment on Organigrams lack of product availability right now? No Oils and only one strain..

Statement from the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Task Force on Cannabis Legalization and Regulation
http://news.gc.ca/web/article-en.do?mthd=index&crtr.page=1&nid=1162819
November 30, 2016 (Ottawa, ON) - The Honourable Anne McLellan, Chair of the Task Force on Cannabis Legalization and Regulation, and Dr. Mark Ware, Vice Chair, released the following statement:
"It has been an honour for us, along with the other members of the Task Force, to have had the opportunity to engage with Canadians across the country who generously shared their expertise and perspectives on how the government should approach the legalization and regulation of cannabis.
We are pleased to announce that the Task Force has completed our work.
Our work has been guided by the Discussion Paper, "Toward the Legalization, Regulation and Restriction of Access to Marijuana." To fulfill our mandate, we sought the views of a diverse community of experts, professionals, advocates, front-line workers, government officials, citizens and employers.
It has been a privilege to engage with so many people over the last five months, and we are thankful to all those who provided their input, time and energy.
Our report is now being translated, and will be provided to Ministers and the public once it is available in both official languages. Translation is expected to be complete in mid-December. The final report will then be received by Ministers and posted online at Canada.ca/Health. At that time, we will be pleased to speak to its content."
Quick Facts on the consultations conducted by the Task Force:
The Task Force was created by the Ministers of Justice, Public Safety and Health on June 30, 2016 to consult with Canadians and provide advice on how to meet the government's commitment to legalize and regulate cannabis, to keep it out of the hands of youth and the profits out of the hands of criminals. It is made up of nine distinguished Canadians who volunteered their expertise in public health, substance abuse, law enforcement and justice.
We received nearly 30 000 responses to our online questionnaire, and organizations sent us nearly 300 submissions. We met with representatives of provincial and territorial governments, representing multiple ministries.
Experts from many sectors met with us at roundtable discussions across Canada. These experts came from a wide spectrum of disciplines and included researchers and academics, patients and their advocates, cannabis consumers, chiefs of police and fire departments, municipal and local government officials, as well as numerous industry, professional, health, and other associations.
Indigenous experts, representative organizations, governments and elders were invited to participate in a variety of Task Force engagement activities, including the expert roundtables, bilateral meetings and an Indigenous people's roundtable.
We were pleased to hear from youth, both through our online questionnaire, as well as at a roundtable discussion focused on youth perspectives. Youth-serving organizations also participated in expert roundtables.
Many patients shared their perspectives on access to cannabis for medical purposes in a dedicated roundtable discussion as well as through the online questionnaire.
Internationally, we gained insight through our visits to both Colorado and Washington states, where cannabis use is legal, and through speaking with representatives of the Uruguayan government, which is the only nation to have a regulatory system for legal access to cannabis.
Here in Canada, we were also fortunate to visit several licensed producers, where we gained an understanding of the realities of regulated cannabis production in Canada today.
Can anyone else back this statement?
I think you are posting your own interpretation here.
"“We are expected to table the report to the Ministers of Health, Justice and Public Safety by the end of November, so that’s a very tight timeline"

And lastly directly from the government website.....
"The Task Force on Marijuana Legalization and Regulation will consult with Canadians and experts to provide information to the Government that will help inform the design of a new legislative system. Their report will be presented to Ministers in November 2016. The final report will be made public by the Ministers once they have had the opportunity to consider its advice."

More info on OGI warrants in the article below.
Basically they were released and are now trading on the open market. Unlike other warrants that may be privately traded (in my opinion are even more high risk because you can't just sell instantly on the market)
Not sure how many have been converted yet but there was a max of only 4.9million outstanding total...
There's relatively low volume with them because everyone that has a warrant is waiting until the November news.. It doesn't make much sense to sell before then to be honest. So they're a bit hard to get your hands on but if you can buy them just like normal OGI shares under the ticker OGI.WT.VN.
They are more volatile, but I see OGI hitting it's price target of 2.25 and if that happens the warrants will be trading for around $1.00 or more. Given that their price right now is 0.70-0.75, that's a decent increase if you wanted to just trade the warrants even rather than hang on to them for the long haul of the industry.
Yes, they are high risk in the event of terrible industry news. But make your own decision, if November news were to be negative then every weed stock is high risk because they are mostly based on speculation and wild build out capacities. I'm not concerned with negative news anyhow, November is going to include LP's in the legalization process, of that I am certain.
These warrants are also extremely high reward ;).
Hope this helps
----------
New Listing-Warrants Effective at the opening Friday, June 3, 2016, the warrants of the Company will commence trading on TSX Venture Exchange. The Company is classified as a 'Industrial ' company. Corporate Jurisdiction: Canada Capitalization: 4,933,500 warrants are issued and outstanding Transfer Agent: Equity Trust and Transfer (TMX Equity) Trading Symbol: OGI.WT CUSIP Number: 68620P127 The warrants were issued pursuant to Company's Prospectus dated May 27, 2016. Each warrant entitles the holder to purchase 1 Common Share at a price of $1.40 per share and will expire on December 2, 2017.
Correct, but mind telling us what price you would sell those warrants at?
If you are selling them for under 0.48 a piece then your argument is valid. (0.48 + 0.50 strike price = current price)..Anyone who buys them off you can cash them in for market value of a share.
But I have a feeling you would sell your warrants at a premium, just like how OGI Warrants are available at a premium. The purpose of warrants are you are betting the price goes up in the future.
So. If you really want me or anyone to take you seriously, let me know what price you want for those 75k SL warrants. Then we can judge what true value is and if it really is "free money" as you say with no risk.
You can buy OGI.WT.VN warrants the same way you can buy OGI.VN.
You don't have to wait until December 2017. You can sell them at a profit whenever it moves up.
My angle is this: OGI is undervalued. If you believe that the share price will be going up in the future then Warrants are a good choice, especially if there is something like news that will make people think that the share price will be over $2.15 by 2017 December.
I believe it will be over $2.15 by 2016 December, and if that happens, then the price of warrants will increase at a higher percentage than the price of the share would be increasing.
Because of the lack of knowledge on warrants, people will try to scare you into thinking you lose all of your investment that would only be under the circumstances that LP's are NOT included in the legalization strategy...
..Which would put SL, Aurora and many other companies out of business anyways (since they are all based on future expectations) - so you would lose your whole investment there as well.
Saying that you are throwing away free money is a classic line that greasy salesmen use. It's like someone saying "you look like a smart guy, a smart guy wouldn't refuse this great deal, you are smart, aren't you?"
Makes me laugh
Anyways, this all is only my opinion. Good luck.
OGI warrants are going up with the share price.
but.great post bud. "some dummy" I'll have to quote you on this one in about a month.
Buying a warrant of OGI is basically saying that you think the stock will be going up. It is the most undervalued COMA stock out there. So if you're invested in OGI, then you must understand that warrants move up with the share price but at a more volatile rate.
And if you are to believe that OGI won't go up between now and December 2017 then that's a joke. You do realize that you don't have to keep warrants and excursive them right? You can sell them in lets say, 1 month when financials are released...
You are advertising SL because you made that decision to buy those warrants. I'm sure that is a great deal, but I just don't like SL as much as I like OGI. And at these prices, OGI and OGI.WT are both undervalued compared to SL which is on par with where it should be.
You're right. But thanks for the info on warrants!
Ending the convo about them now.
where did you get 1.85 from? And a few months from?
OGI warrants $1.40 until December 2017. That makes a nice target of $2.15 to be profitable..
SL's platform is based off supplying other LP's. And with legalization not coming until end of 2017/2018, and the massive growth each LP is doing, the pre-legalization game is pretty saturated to be supplying product on the basis of LP's not having enough. Im sure they will make lots when it is legal to sell though..
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure you will make great money as all the weed stocks are hitched to the same ship. I just see more profit in the OGI warrants so I'd rather buy those. Especially since OGI hasn't hit it's run yet and financials and November task force news is around the corner.
Thanks for the info TMEvans. A strike price of $1.40 and current price of 0.75/warrant puts the warrant break even at $2.15 by December 2017 is what I can understand from all this. Good enough for me. Thanks again man.
I would rather have OGI warrants than SL any day of the week.
