New material to dissect longs. :)

If you can't make an informed decision based on your own DD then I don't recommend you buy WEED. You should buy APH instead since you seem to know more about them. Good luck.
Have your people meet our people over on the Canopy stockhouse board if it's not allowed here. Mick can be moderator.
It is fun to try new things. Hey Main Street will carry many of those other producers you speak of. Cool. :)
"I only chose to follow canopy because I have an emotional attachment to it...."
Now that's what I call great branding. ;)
Dogger... please don't say CMED. I've heard interviews with their CEO and the dude is practically against recreational legalization. I'm open to other suggestions tho and would love to hear them.
Actually you didn't lol... why do you still choose Canopy as the benchmark to compare your investments to?
Canopy is just doing their thing and you either believe in their vision or you don't. Why is it that investors always flock to this board to measure their LP investment of choice against Canopy in particular... is it because they think Canopy is going to be the biggest in the world? Why not compare your investment to another company instead?
MedReleaf does look appealing but just a FYI - their cannabis is on the expensive end compared to Canopy brands. MedReleaf also boasted in the past about their large patient base of veterans. Imo their revenues will be affected greatly by the recent veteran pricing cap adjustment as Aphria's were this quarter (and likely next) and possibly to a greater degree. I'm interested to know what their profits are like once this is adjusted for. Something to keep an eye on as there may be a lot of hype initially that fails to take this into consideration. There is plenty of room in the cannabis space for more than one winner. When the dust settles I suspect Canopy will still be leading the top 4 (Canopy, MedReleaf, Aphria, Aurora) and many investors will come back to Canopy once they come to the realization that all the shiny new things they've been chasing have lost their lustre. ;)
I think and hope so too just way too nervous/excited for them and don't want to be disappointed because it'll be HUGE.
In the meantime some other surprise announcements could be Vert and Tweed Grasslands receiving their licenses.
I agree. On the edge of my seat waiting to find out if Canopy is one out of the handful of companies awarded a German domestic license. That's the future and it'll be huge. If that day comes it'll be a game changer and I foresee a gap up that never gets filled. Export to Germany has an expiry date. Fingers crossed!
I miss the good old days when bought deals provided a rock solid floor. Can't believe nearsighted investors are STILL selling.
I would because that means a tested product from companies held accountable. Down with the stigma! Why should it be any different than choosing to purchase alcohol or filling a prescription at a pharmacy? So you'd rather continue living in the shadows of prohibition times? Embrace the future and the innovation it'll create. Consumers of cannabis have a lot to look forward to.
Please can we get a second green day tomorrow? Hasn't happened since Feb. Stupid Mettrum.
Two green days in a row will be a *sign* the downtrend is reversing imo. That's what the tea leaves say.
Haven't seen 2 green days in a row since Feb. :(
Please let the day before and day of 4/20 be 2 green days in a row in celebration.
Stupid bedrocan for good measure.
So PI recently raised WEED's price target to $16. Yoda or anyone do you know what Canaccord's deal is? I just saw they downgraded WEED's price target from $12 to $11.50 and upgraded ALL the others! Wth Canaccord seriously has a hate on for Canopy. Hope all their clients sell WEED so we can move on without them.

Even the Argyle oil is powerful stuff.
So celebrities aren't allowed to be business people and create a cannabis brand but anyone else can? Celebrity discrimination! lol
I've seen some people on twitter say Snoop is out but I'm not sure...
I believe the contract only lasted a couple years anyway? No harm done he did drum up attention for Canopy.
Not a huge deal either way imo.

WEED has the most upside to price target.
Interesting. Can't wait to find out. That would be a positive at least.
McLellan did a great job... why is the G&M such one-sided a**holes.
No one ever writes about all her hard work and positive contributions. She really stepped up. Yeah and she's insisting on plain packaging so how does that benefit LPs?

Anti-cannabis industry are trying to pull a Chuck Rifici on her... hope she sues them.

sticking up for med patients and all LPs.
Everyone is expecting plain packaging right?
It's been mentioned over and over...
https://beta.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/liberals-to-weed-out-positive-spin-to-marijuana-branding/article34694223/?ref
The only negative imo. Otherwise tomorrow is monumental.
Understandable they need to start on a tight leash as many still opposed to legalization but I agree with LPs that this may not successfully stomp out black market if they can't differentiate themselves.
I hope brand packaging for med cannabis at least stays the same as it is now... plainer packaging would be no fun at all.
I think that comment is referring to pics of the actual cannabis buds not the inevitable plain brand packaging for rec.
So many little gems in that article.
"While Linton insists he doesn't smoke his own product—"I have no medical prescription, nor require it"—the minute he can purchase his company's weed legally, he will be one of the first people in line, he says. "After five years in this sector and what it's taken to build it, I could use a very euphoric, tension-releasing hour or two."
Way to go Yoda! That was a long read but great.
I think now is the time to be patient Longs. Lets just hope this plays out like it has in the past:

Could we really be stuck in this triangle like we have twice before? I would hate to sell out of frustration the moment we reach the apex. Seems traders are determining our sp fate. Why is the market giving us the cold shoulder?
Idgi either Brent.
Frustrating to see Canopy continue to act like the sector leader and make great moves yet sp does not perform like sector leader. So happy with their performance as a company yet it is not translating to investors at this time. Add to that the smear campaign day after day over at stockhouse which is completely unjustified imo. Canopy is the biggest and therefore has the biggest target on its back while the other major LPs are not under this same pressure. What will it take to break free of all the negativity? I'll continue to hold patiently while so many others jumping ship and hope this is the worst of it or close.
Was disappointed to hear that although there was also a lot of positive stuff said to outweigh any bad. Does this mean they'll need to discontinue Leafs by Snoop or maybe it'll just remain available to med patients? Anyone close with IR who doesn't mind asking?
May the force be with us tomorrow. Pray this board doesn't need to turn into therapy group again.
Nice timing to start a position. I bought more at this level but many months ago. Lucky fella... hope he makes lots of money. ;)
Should also start to get exciting again soon in the sector. The past few months have been... yawn.
Can't find the group when I search for it... think it may have changed to a "secret" group and one can only join now by being invited.
Can you ask (or has it already been asked) how confident he is in Remo's nutrients and that there isn't anything in them there isn't supposed to be like the stuff Mettrum was using (contained ingredients not on the label)? Why weren't the nutrients tested by Supreme themselves prior to growing even if HC didn't require it at the time? Any other LPs using Remo's products? Did he just find out about this delay from HC on Friday and is this the reason it was released as a late night PR?
Bet there's gonna be a lot of misinformation and made up rumours spread now it'd be nice if John could do a quick interview with someone to clear the air for all investors for those who don't have access to the facebook group.
WTF this has gone too far. Today this is a therapy group not a stock message board. Tired of these shenanigans.
Frustrating there were obviously shareholders who thought legalization (not legislation) would be this spring. Good riddance to them...
Unbelievable if this trades below BD from ages ago. Meanwhile APH more recent BD at $5.
Ouch G&M throwing shade at Tilray, MedReleaf and Emerald Health.
