You are correct. I called the Toronto Police and they referred me to the York Region Police, and their phone number is 1-905-773-1221. I live in the United States, but made a number of calls and was advised to report this fraud to the following governing bodies:
1.Call York Region Police @ 1-905-773-1221 [/u]and ask for the financials crimes unit and indicate that you want to report an investment fraud of A.C. Simmonds & Sons Inc. (i.e. ACSX - OTC) for taking in excess of $1 Million in investor money and refusing to provide shares in over one year. They will investigate this as a police matter locally.
2.Call the Ontario Securities Commission @ 1-877-785-1555 (i.e. their email is inquiries@osc.gov.on.ca) and report this fraud to the Ontario Securities Commission, which focuses on investment crimes.
3.ACS is also traded on the US exchange, so would also recommend that you complete a formal complaint with the SEC. Click on the link below to complete your formal complaint so that the US Securities & Exchange Commission can also investigate the fraud: www.sec.gov/complaint/tipscomplaint.shtml
Please share this with other investors so that we can begin to file a complaint at local, provincial and federal levels to exert pressure on ACS to return our money.
