A 'POSITIVE' SIGN????? Note that on 'Partner Benefits' page of Wintec website (wintecind.com}, second line down, it says, "We are available for QUANTITY purchases 'RIGHT NOW'. (In other words, Hop-on has MADE DELIVERY to Wintec?????????.........
DONE......
Entirely, do you suspect that only 'ONE' investor purchased all 27,000,000 of thoses shares. If so, what does he/she know that we don't?
Would like to think that PM and DG are doing everything they can to enable the company to survive, even if they may be lining their pockets with s/h's money... just wishful thinking??????? I hope not......
Bob, just did some quick figuring and: even if pps goes down to .0001, with 6,600,000,000 AUTHORIZED shares left to sell, then Hop-on and/or its 'funders can still get at least $660,000 out of this thing.....
Mathias, just a thought, but maybe the SEC already knows that there are 'more than 300' investors in Hop-on, and that is why they were (accidentally?) put on the SHO list????
What is bad with this scenario, Lou, is that AFTER the r/s there would REMAIN 6.8 BILLION shares 'authorized' to flood the market with; and THAT'S why my one share @ 800 would drop down to .0008 AFTER the split.....
Tr, thanks for the great post. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Am no authority on cell phones, period, do not even own one, but what I 'think' I have just picked up from your post and the links provided thereon, is that 'WiFi' (and/or WiFi chips) stands for a 'new' kind of 'network' that is not (cannot be) restricted to use by one carrier (such as T-Mobile) and that some carriers (including T-Mobile) are 'reluctantly' getting into this 'emerging' technolohy by having companies (like Hop-on) develop (and SELL ??????????) phones using this 'new WiFi chip'. And it is the 'end-user' of this phone carrier service (ie., network) and not the 'initiating' caller that will have to carry the burden of cost (for service). Am I somewhere in the ballpark here????.......
Fantastic, DB, good to hear....
Lou, sounds like good advice to me. Thanks, appreciate it. Also, enjoy your postings on RB. I won't ask you 'what' the 'wifi' thing is, but am glad to hear that 'you' apparently know 'what' it is and that it will eventually provide some good pr in the future (NEAR future?). Anyway, it's my guess that Wifi-cell will be Hop-on's answer to the Firefly phone...
just a guess.... Thanks again, dc....
Tried to pick some up @ .003 the other day, but missed. May try @ same or alittle less next week. Will keep advised.. dc..
Thanks, DB, but actually entirely has been a big help to me. Am even looking into the msitf stock he 'made mention of' in a recent post. Actually, ALL of the posters, including yourself, and both 'the longs' and 'the shorts' on both this board and RB have been a BIG help to me, long before I actually became a poster, myself, last week.....
Thanks, DB, have got to study up on just 'what is' a daytrader.
Yes, I would 'definitely' have a loss if I sold out now, but, as a SPECULATOR (ie., a long?) am willing to RISK a little more on this VENTURE, if for no other reason than to LEARN FROM EXPERIENCE. Again, now, cannot speak for the posters here who may have many, MANY millions of shares, of course.....
Now, if the pps dropped back to .0008 WITHIN MINUTES after the reverse split, which is my BIG FEAR, Entirely, then, of course, my approach to a r/s will have been proven BOGUS; but the company NOW SEEMS to be getting ON ITS FEET 'just before' the reverse split, so, I am willing to SPECULATE with my measley million shares that IT WON'T. I realize that many of the posters on this board and RB probably have MANY millions of shares compared to my one million, so, of course, I cannot speak for posters in that category, but, I think it is of benefit to ALL posters to know what even 'the little guy', like myself, is thinking on this r/s matter.... thanks, dc...
Thanks, Lou, all the more reason, I suspect, I should increase my position at these sub-penny prices; but, then again, If I had 2 mil. shares before a 1 mil/1 split then I would end up with only 'two' shares 'after' the split and I wouldn't like that either. The suggestion, I've heard, to put aside 'just' a million shares and sell 'all' your others for 'whatever you can get' may be the best route to take IN MY CASE ONLY, Jon...
great post, great find tr....
Jon, my thinking is that if there is going to be a reverse split then I want an 'even amount' to be split. If I buy another 750,000 @ .0005 it will only cost me another $390 to have an even 2 million shares to be split. If it is a 1000/1 split then I would end up with 2,000 shares 'even'. Sorry if I gave the impression that 'everyone' should do the same....
Ha! Good one, Entirely.....
Ha! I think you're right, ragtime, but I'd have to 'drive' to the restaurant and that would cost me (at least) another ten...
You are right, Entirely, I may just as well go for broke; so, I just changed my buy order to 750,000 shares @ .0001, which will cost me only $90.......
I'll be darned, I can get a quote on the pink sheet website. Thanks, entirely... appreciate it... dc...
Have just resubmitted my bid for 750,000 shares @ .0005, which will cost me only $390. It's a VERY 'potential' offer I CAN'T refuse.... dc.....
Thanks, Entirely, unfortunately, I 'AM' able to get quotes on HPON; lol, it's the MSTIF one, you mentioned, that I can't get any ongoing quotes on, but only end-of-the-day results at 4:00.
Entirely, cannot get quotes on this stock on either Charles Schwab or AOL, but can get 'end of day results'. Is there a website I can follow it on. Thx, dc.....
Also of some import, tr, I suspect, is that firefly is a 'privately' held (owned) company, ie., is not a pink sheet company....
Great post, note under news heading on corp. website it mentions it has also partnered with 'firefly mobile', then see message #3458 where firefly phone is mentioned...
And the 'factors' (financiers) are the MM's (market makers)???
Thanks, Wis... This practice, though a 'quick' souce of cash to pay for 'ongoing operations' or 'r&d' would show that hop-on is getting little if any revenue 'from sales' and it would also help to explain why price per share keeps falling despite good news. If 'financiers' are only interested in getting their money back plus alittle more for profit, then their 'asking price' will probably ALWAYS BE 'at market' or at market 'plus .0001' more and they are probably dealing in MANY millions of shares which would in effect keep the pps down to a certain level..... 'factoring' is a term I haven't heard in awhile and is a great analogy to show what may be happening with hop-on shares. Thanks again..... dix....
I suspect Boiler over on RB has the right idea of what is going on with pps, ie., Hop-on is selling shares (millions?) to 'financiers' AT A DISCOUNT, who in turn are selling them on the 'open market' AT MARKET......
84 million shares sold by noon, and pps 'UP'. Good sign, I think.
Entirely, go to mobiletalk@wintecind.com and see hop-on logo down in lower right hand corner (just for reassurance purpose).
Thanks for the incite gentlemen, much appreciated. Take a look at message no. 53046 (the wifi-cell website) just posted on RB. Any body know what it is????
This 'newbie' needs to run this by the 'oldies'(?).... Per RB, Scottrade will not let anyone buy Hop-on shares (only sell them). This is due to 'naked shorting' per RB, therefore, this means that, Scottrade must have LOANED THOUSANDS (MILLIONS?) OF HPON SHARES TO SHORTSELLERS WITHOUT ACTUALLY HAVING HAD THE SHARES TO LOAN. The shortsellers, in turn, sold these ficticious shares when pps was high with the intention of buying back same when pps was low. The pps is NOW LOW, BUT NOW THE SHORTSELLERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BUY BACK THE FICTICIOUS SHARES THEY SOLD HIGH BECAUSE NOW 'REGULATION SHO' WILL NOT ALLOW THE REPURCHASE OF SHARES THAT NEVER EXISTED IN THE FIRST PLACE. THEREFORE, THE SHORTSELLER IS 'LIABLE' TO SCOTTRADE AND SCOTTRADE IS 'LIABLE' TO HOP-ON TO COME UP WITH THESE FICTICIOUS SHARES???
Good news (OTHER THAN PR), yet pps goes down? Due to MM's (market makers?}?, Due to dilution? Due to naked-shorting? Due to average-downers? Due to PM and DG? Due to all of the above......................??????????????????????????????????
Also in same article by Martha Irvine of Assoc. Press, it said, "The Firefly phone, created by a father in Illinois and being launched nationwide in months to come, is smaller than other cell phones, allowing it to fit more easily in a kid's hand. It has simpler buttons, including ones that speed dial "Mom" or "Dad" - and gives parents more control by giving them password-protected access for programming the numbers the phone can dial and calls it can receive. The Firefly phone also has no games or capabilities for text messaging, a popular function with teens that some parents dislike because it can get expensive - and distracting.
Ps, also just read on AOL alert that Hasboro (toys) is producing two-way radios for kids, as an alternative to cell phones.
Great post, tr, so Hop-on phones are going to be given out 'free' by Wintec for customers who sign up for T-Mobile....
Just read that cell phones for kids is hot ticket item this year. 'Free' phones for kids would be even hotter.....
Yes, and PPS doing MUCH BETTER today. Due to NO dilution? LESS dilution? JUST ALITTLE dilution?????
Yes, but if you had been an investor in DeLorean Auto, wouldn't you have been impressed by his attempt to save his company by risking his neck like that? I guess what sticks out in my mind was that during his GM days he was such a classy, controversial personality (with his BEAUTIFUL wife, Christina?) while the other execs all seemed kind of dumpy. Just my thoughts....
Actually, am convinced NOT to average down anymore UNLESS it hits .0005. Before reading this board and RB would probably have been averaging down @.0009, .0008, .0007, etc.
