Entirely has a 'sense of humor' imo, which seems to be a common trait amongst 'the more experienced and knowledgeable' traders on the boards. I always read 'everything' he posts, but then, of course, 'read between the lines' as well, lol, and as a result, seem to end up with 'greater insight' regarding HPNN...
Thanks, tr, note that Samuel Demisse is being heard from on this one. What happened to Dan???
Yes, it is a 'sweet' deal for newbies, but, there is no guarantee (especially without financials) that the dilution will not start 'all over again' and hurt the 'new investors' just as it did the old. 'Caveat emptor', my fellow bargain hunter, especially with these damned pinkies....
Beware of one thing, however, bargain, and that is the 'research and development' costs involved in keeping up with this 'new' technology could be used as an excuse to dilute the outstanding shares again.
WiMax, that's it, thanks entirely. (ie., WiMax is superior to Wifi in that it has LONGER RANGE, which is why Wifi is only practical in a METROPOLITAN area NEAR where the HUB is located).
Yes, Entirely, apparently this VOIP thing IS a hot item, connected with Wifi-cell. According to my cousin, who is also invested in Hop-on, it is wifi-cell access to the internet, made available in COFFEE HOUSES that is a BIG ITEM draw now to bringing in lap top users as customers. Also permanent desk top unit can connect to it in hotel lobbies, bars, restaurants, etc. It is good to hear that Hop-in is keeping up with new technology, but didn't you say that wifi-cell was outdated by some 'new' technology? What did you call that new technology??? Apparently the new VOIP (Hop-on) phone connects to the computer that is in turn hooked up to the wifi-cell 'HUB' via access in the coffee house and the customer can sit there, drink coffee and gab over the internet. Am I somewhere in the ball park there, trk??? lol, dc....
May have to use LIVE broker, Entirely, no one seems to be able to put in order via internet since reverse split.
Hopefully it will 'pop' for you, lou, or even a good 'spike' might be enough for you to break even. Good luck...
Thanks, mg..
So shares 'bought' from the company (with warrants) can only be 'sold' back to the company (ie., cannot be sold on the open market?).
Yes, but is still great to see pps head UP, rather than down, even for a moment. Show quote now at .25.
Holy cow!!! Quote for HPNN on Charles Schwab 'Quick Quote' is now ".40" a share. Go Hop-on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On my Charles Schwab 'Quick Quote' I show 9,268 shares traded at .20 at 09:58.
Just tried to put in 'sell order' for 1/2 of my new hpnn shares BEFORE OPENING BELL, but cannot do so because they are not yet listed under new symbol. Gee, I wonder if company is not able to put in sell (ie., dilution) order as well, before opening bell.
Thanks, billy, but what if the CEO or Chairman, himself, tells you he is 'trying to GET OFF the pinkies', would you hold it then? lol, just kidding... Caveat emptor, AT ALL TIMES with pinkies! Even though pinkies are risky, billy, they are one heck of alot more fun to trade than non-pinkies, as are the personalities of those who trade them, except maybe one or two of the posters I've read on Raging Bananas, lol....
In order to sell, though, he will have to cough up the $20??
Minou, what will happen to your 12.5 shares if you don't pay the $20 fee. Just curious, dc...
Yes, mg, to see HPNN go from .20 to .40 would be a miracle, to say the least. I DO expect it to go 'south', however, and anticipate current value to drop from $400 to possibly $4. It will be a hell of a ride as it already has been from original purchase of 2,000 shares @ .15 back in July of '03 as I recall to today. Thanks for all your posts in the past and hopefully in the future. dc...
Billy, I now have 4 million shares of HPON (ie., 2,000 shares of HPNN), valued at $400. Will keep board posted as to value of same as 'bloodbath' takes its toll... Thanks, dc...
Wow, techdirt does not pull any punches, tr. Best 'expose' of Hop-on (and mgt.) I've seen yet.
Wistock and Entirely, does it not seem odd to you that 296 million shares were BOUGHT yesterday? Certainly the entire market place is aware of the reverse split by now and the potential for the pps TO DROP 'after' the split. Did anyone notice if any of yesterday's sales were in 'large blocks', by any chance?? Thanks, dc....
The Ruth Group is supposed to do for Hop-on what Emerging Growth Stocks, LLC is supposed to do for Medical Services, I suspect. Isn't it The Ruth Group that writes up Hop-on's PRs? Thanks, for some good news, Entirely. dc...
Right, wistock, which is why I can't understand why Wirex (and others) don't put a 'PRICE TAG' on the phones depicted on their Website displays. Purchasers ARE more interested in the price of the darn things than the make, in my opinion. The make (ie., status symbol) is of 'secondary' importance imo, and the fact that the '1806' is supposedly 'cute' would come in 'third'..... ps.. Also imo, the 1806 is 'cheap' (ie., sold to distributors at a low margin) because they were paid for by stockholder capital ONLY (ie., NO OVERHEAD involved to increase the wholesale price). jmo, dc...
Yes, mg, it occurred to me also that there had been some kind of 'exclusive' agreement between Hop-on and Wirex. It is still the phone pictured on the opening page, however.
See new WIRX webpage featuring model 1806 plus other brands.

Am glad you're into all that stuff, tr; it's helpful to have someone like yourself on the board. There is a page on the Hop-on website that explains alot of the technical things that I need to peruse, as well. dc..
Thanks, tr; it seems unlikely that 'only' 3.5 billion was the o/s on either the 3rd or the 5th. Suspect now that ALL ten billion a/s are/or will be o/s before the 18th. dc...
A rock rat??
You may be right, shen, but the 'concept' of affordable phones for ALL users still lies with Hop-on and it is THAT concept that we support and apparently was the 'brainchild' of none other than Mr. Peter Michaels, so we will support him as well in his efforts to bring that concept to fruition. Go Hop-on!!!
No, wouldn't do that, thanks, Billy..
Good analogy, avan, let's 'open the jar' and 'STIR the waters' with Hop-on. Actually, am somewhat relieved this da.. (darn) r/s has finally taken place as predicted. Now we can try and figure out how best to go from here without the gloom and doom of a POTENTIAL r/s hindering our agendas. IT'S ALREADY HERE!!!!!!!
Does not seem worthwhile, to me, to sell at 'current' pps. To use as tax loss, maybe? Why not wait till end of year when VALUE will have supposedly fallen another 90% (ie., for GREATER tax loss benefit)? It has proven to be a 'costly' SPECULATION when you 'bought' it, but now it would be a 'cheap' SPECULATION to 'hold' it. JMO, dc...
Waitek, see post 4492..
I just looked at the WiFi-cell.com website again (with the Hop-on logo in its upper left hand corner); and, now I suspect that WiFi-cell.com is going to be a 'separate' company altogether, that will just happen to be a DISTRIBUTOR of Hop-on products. Just conjecture on my part. dc....
Wrong, new name is to be Hop-on, Inc. (rather than Hop-on.com, Inc.), symbol: HOOI???? So, where does WiFi-cell.com fit into this structure????
Entirely, WiFi-Cell.com, I suspect is to be the name of the 'new' company; therefore, will guess the 'new' symbol will be WFC... just a guess, dc... No, just looked up, and WFC is already symbol for Wells Fargo Corporation. Okay, how about WFCC...
How about 'one piece of schittzke'?
Just received e-mail re: r/s from Hop-on and just 'replied' with following questions: "Please advise: Will financials be issued before split?, 2) what is outstanding as of 05/09/05? and 3) who is auditing Hop-on? Thanks, dc...." will post their reply, if any received... thanks, Mathias, dc....
Thanks, ms...
Yes, Mathias, that 'is' insane.... We have to pay Hop-on $20 PER/new share received?? The revised pps would be about 20 cents per share, right?, so why would we pay $20.00 per share @ exchange rate? Unless, that is THEIR WAY to get the revised price per share TO HEAD UP, instead of BACK DOWN....
