well folks i closed my position. good luck to anyone still holding.
well today was the last day of NATPE. I hope the company has some good news of real substance for investors very soon, or alot of people will write this stock off for good.
NATPE next week.
its a good idea to always stay up on the A/S count. and since this is the first time its been revealed it was raised, and the first increase was over a year ago, i feel misled as an investor. it should have been disclosed when it occured.
page 24.......
On January 5, 2009 the Board of Directors of Circa Pictures increased the authorized shares to 150,000,000 million shares of which 125,000,000 shall be Common Stock with a par value of $0.001 per share, and 25,000,000 shares shall be Serial Preferred Stock with a par value of $0.001 per share.
On October 1, 2009 the Board of Directors of Circa Pictures increased the authorized shares to 175,000,000 million shares of which 150,000,000 shall be Common Stock with a par value of $0.001 per share, and 25,000,000 shares shall be Serial Preferred Stock with a par value of $0.001 per share.
original A/S was 100 million.
very cool.
if you read the blurb in Events and Industry section at http://www.circapictures.com/backstage.html, it sounds like they are partnered with Imagine Media in some sort of marketing capacity. They mention that the CEO of Imagine, Larry Pursley, will be at the Circa booth for NAPTE. screwy layout for the website in this section also, info crammed into a tiny space. further down they state they will be looking to put Alison Racing into syndication. NASCAR has alot of fans so I'm pretty optimistic about this.
NATPE convention is 1 month away.
http://www.circapictures.com/ has had a face lift recently. looks better and there is an actual trailer for Alison Legacy now instead of a slideshow. the moving filmstrip animation in the middle of the page needs to become static, its distracting. good to see there is still something going on at this company after a year of silence.
thanks for the insights. is Circa the exclusive agent to the film industry for Imagine Media? i got that impression from the PR but wanted to be sure.
new quarterly filing should be out in about 3 weeks. wonder what new info we will see.
so it looks like some market maker wants to keep this at .015 . why.
i'm not sure what the market makers expect to accomplish by bouncing around the stock on low volume.
whats your thoughts on the odd movement, up and down on 100 volume, larger volume doesn't move it?
odd behavior, downtick on 100 volume.
so i wonder what the status with the Allison Legacy Racing Series is, that was PRed a year ago and haven't seen anything of it since.
it has been moving up on low volume lately. wonder whats up.
there was a scandal when the shell was owned by triangle multimedia. some of us are taking a wait and see approach with the new company, circa. others are not and continue to hold grudges.
up 300% over the last 3 weeks. wonder where the movement came from.
89 million O/S now according to the quarterly on pinksheets, A/S was 100 million last time I called washington state SOS. I don't see anything viable here yet.
why is it not mentioned on the circa pictures site?
where are you getting this info. the only mention of form 10 on the http://www.circapictures.com/ site is dated Nov 2008.
nice to see its registered again.
nice volume. lets see if it holds up.
$4k worth of buys this morning. interesting.
someone bought $1.2k worth today, wonder who is buying.
what i find interesting is that $10k worth of stock traded today, and the uptick didn't happen until much later today on small volume.
i'm really not sure how that works, tbh.
found something interesting on the Washington Secretary of State site:
http://www.secstate.wa.gov/corps/search_results.aspx?search_type=simple&criteria=all&name_type=contains&name=circa+pictures&ubi=
notice the expiration date and dissolution date...
I've been in this since QBID 2004. I lost a lot of money on QBID, but that was a different CEO. I'm willing to be cautiously optimistic for now on CPPD. Please be specific about incidents of deception under the new ticker and new CEO. I think the form 10/A they put out was pretty damn honest, really.

I think emotion is clouding your judgment a bit.
I don't think we've seen any definite attempts at deception or foul play yet. I'm not saying put money into it, but lets not start burning people at the stake. I'm going to be keeping my eye on the A/S and basing my opinion on that. The A/S hasn't changed yet, you can call washington SOS and verify that yourself. Lets try to stay objective here.
need- i checked on the A/S, not the O/S. I doubt the SOS has the numbers on the O/S, the transfer agent probably would. Have you talked to the transfer agent? What I think we might be seeing is some selling by people who were given shares as payment for services. If the A/S gets increased that will be the big red flag. Hasn't happened yet. Hopefully it won't happen.
maybe it has something to do with the DD i posted in #277769? :P
Well as of 1pm Pacific Time today, the A/S still stands at 100 million, according to the customer service rep at Washington SOS. Everyone is welcome to confirm this themselves, CPPD's UBI # is 601047757, the phone number for Washington SOS Corporations Division is 360-725-0377.
has anyone called the Washington State Secretary of State lately to see what the A/S is now? I'm curious.
hrmm volume has died and look like maybe we stabilize at .01?
maybe it was the people that bought on the pump unloading.
hrmm. lots of volume, so much that i have to wonder if we are getting diluted.
