Any idea when WBD will be able to trade under their own stock symbol plus your feeling as to their beginning stock price. I have seen anywhere from $24 to $30 per share.
I don't have a feeling either way as to should I purchase additional shares of T now to receive additional shares of the new company when the spinoff occurs or just wait to purchase the new company shares after the spinoff. Appreciate your thoughts.
Does anyone have an idea as to what the price per share of the new company will start off as .
The only contract that I am aware of is the renewal of the VA contract. If you are aware of some others please advise.
I think the sell off is a knee jerk reaction due to discontinuing there Yosprala drug. The increase in the quarterly loss was the right off of the fair value of Yosprala. Otherwise, we might have missed the projected loss by only .03. Next quarter should be much better. JMHO
Has anyone noticed that the current 8k filing indicated a company called Insite Vision Inc. This company was just bought out by QLT.Of course, QLT is also injecting 45mil of the 75 mil of new equity of our new combined Irish company. Will Insite Vision be eventually merged with us hmmmm.Insite was mentioned in the share subscription agreement for Aguono limited, Tribute, POZEN, and QLT.It may be nothing but why was it included ??.
Does anyone have a ideal when Bezalip will get final approval from the FDA.
Hi Ward, since I know you are a number cruncher, what was your take of the two payroll tax liability numbers on the annual. These numbers are the same as the end of 3rd qtr, over 400k,scares me some.Myself,I would prefer to see any profits kept by the company to shore up their financial condition before we start reducing the OS.I realize this goes against alot of shareholders out there.JMHO
jersey,I would liked to have seen the reduction be retired or go into treasury stock but not back into preferred where it can bite us in the butt later. The current BOD probably received the stock for nothing ,they should give it back and retire them or place in treasury for later acquisitions.I'm not a numbers guy like many here but it just seem like there taking stock out of one pocket and putting it in the other pocket.just playing with numbers .JMHO
Ward.although I am just a long time "lurker" here on IHUB ,I myself must assign blame to the entire BOD.Its true Frank was the pres.BUT he had to present the ideal of BA and EVSY to the entire BOD to be voted on unless Frank was a majority shareholder and could over-rule the others.
When items are presented to the board it is up to the other members to investagate the pros/cons and not just follow someones advise.I know, because,I travel from KY to Chicago once a month for our meeting, and sometimes they become very heated when we over-rule the presidents wishes.
I hope HISC current BOD has enough integerty to get things done and not just "follow" Frank's & BA or anyones advise without proper investigation like before.Just my 2 cents & back to lurking.
Spence, although the financials may show 2bil +,if you add in the convertibles this will shoot it to your 3bil.Management,IMO,should voluntarily get rid of their preferred (since at this point its not worth diddly)or at least place it on a one to one basis instead of 10 or 100 to one.
without much cash on hand they will have to hit their credit line to pay their vendors(which they must keep happy),and pay UNCLE SAM for payroll taxes etc, unless you want to pay high penalties,so unless they can pull a rabbit out of a hat or I'm missing something entirely, they need all their dollars just to pay bills and not reduce the O/S(since their product is still sold at a loss).
This looks like a long recovery road.
Ward, this is one of the better letters and realistic financials yet. It's great to see them expense some of their R&D right off the bat, although it scares me to see over one mil in current liabilities and not much in cash reserves. We need some CT sales fast or we might see more stock sales IMO.Hopefully next quarter we will see FRANKS reduction in the share count.
SAY Ward,RCP ,I bet you guys are getting tired of seeing all the same posts regarding the divi since this has been going on for months.
looking at their capital expense outlay for 2006-2007 ,they have 10 mobile data units for 96k authorized.I don't know if those are ours.
Say RedCloud,I was just going over some "old" DD notes referring to EVSY and is it correct that HISC only purchased 50.1% for their $500k.Maybe I didn't update my notes.
The 40M shares of EVSY equates to what 2b shares of HISC ,so does that mean that the preferred shareholders might not partake in the divi.
Hey RCP,looks like thats one vertical market thats got the bugs worked out and ready to generate revenue for us at long last.Happy B-DAY and you should have many of these thru-out the year as long as can have news like this at the same time.LOL.
OT:RCP,last night OHIO STATE was the better team but I would of much rather have waited till NOV. to see these two teams play.Colt would have matured some by then but I have to say he is no Vince Young from last year. You do have some good running backs but you need Colt to open up the offense for them.OHIO STATE may be good but their secondary has not been really challenged yet.
Ward,I think the VOLS where looking ahead to next weeks game instead of focusing on AIR FORCE,is next week for them FLORIDA ??.I think red cloud is probably pizzed today after last nights game.
My horizon is always subject to review/change depending on many factors but I'm hopeing under Fred's direction we can see some light at the end the tunnel of some of these vertical markets.
Ward, yes,I'm sitting at 2.7m at present but am really under water on most of them.I am holding for at least 18-24 months till they mature a little more.
Ward, just think,Frank will also likely get almost 1m shares of EVSY,don't that kind of put frosting on the cake?
spencer, just a lurker here, but I picked up another 200k shares just on the thinking that nextel will at some time (after the proper training from HISC to their employees)start supplying some of their stores.Maybe I'm just the proverbial gambler, but you never know.
I'm hopeing that HISC has finally gotten their "ducks in a row" on some of these vertical markets that they have spent a lot of software money on.I think they could have done a better job of prioritizing(spelling?) ,like PRO SEC ,but being on the outside ,we don't know what their up against such as developing, testing and getting all the bugs out.Maybe a couple of these markets will start to bear fruit.JMHO
billionaire,& Ward, good catch on the accum depr.that went rigth over my head.I hope they continue to "open up" the financials as to the # of line items so we can find out a little more about the company.
I'm not so sure you can count on interest income from A/R as thats kind of iffy.Do you guys have any thoughts as to the life that may be given when we start to depr the software. Is 5-7 yr.too much since the technology changes so rapidly.I'm just trying to see a little further out as to some fairly large expense areas.TIA
billionaire,as an accountant, what is your feeling regarding the almost 65k in interest payable for the last qtr.(cash flow stmt.).Do you think maybe its to pay for EVSI or our inventory,or some of our software??.I've been trying to pin-point it to a fairly sizeable item but having problems. Also how can they have a positive net cash provided in depreciation and come up with the same figure in fixed assets for accum depr.for this qtr. as last qtr.
HI CAPT,just seems many here are frustrated not only by the sliping PPS but just maybe by the ongoing "final devel.phase" of the many vertical markets we have available to us.It seems to me we should have finished some of those to start reving up sales.Per the last quarter financials we had capitalized 1.8m in software in assets and almost 900k for those last three months and we don't know what this quarter will look like ,but without any meaningfull CT sales we will continue to see further dilution to pay for both BA and devel..Don't get me wrong I would rather pay with shares than some of the bad financing that is around.I hope I am wrong but I feel that 2007 will be our year instead of this year for any decent contracts.holding long --- JMHO
REDCLOUD,since you are a techi kind of guy ,what is your gut feeling as to how long it might take to complete this final devel/testing phase (2-3 months ??).I realize this is just a guess as no one knows how far along they are.
CAPT.would you know what, or if, the preferred shareholders need to file anything prior to converting to common shareholders so they can get their divi.TIA
Jersey, you need to thicken up your skin somewhat. This is a message board with many posters and even though you may do the best DD someone is going to question it.If they don't like what you post it's up to them to get off their lazy butts to do their own DD and make their decisions based on their DD.I read all your posts, and do appreciate them, but consider them information only.
I consider your posts to be pretty good DD ,but I also question and dig.I currently hold 2.5mil.
Jersey, thanks for your dd with BA today, its greatly appreciated, regarding HISC move to the NASDAQ does anybody remember the minimum PPS that is needed to be listed.I thought it was either $3 or $5 per share. To get to those figures we need a lot of contracts plus share retirement and most likely a R/S as you proposed.A couple problems I have with an R/S is if the company has only small profits and not alot of growth outlook and is using the R/S as a short term fix to shore-up their EPS,than eventually, their PPS will fall back to what the price was prior to the R/S.I don't think HISC will fall into this problem area as I feel they have a lot of growth potential to keep their earnings growing. The other area that I feel we may have a real problem is what happens with the preferred shareholders---do they take the same hit we do?,.Most likely not,IMO,just the common shareholders, and we still have all those preferred shares lurking over our shoulders.BUT ,of course this is all speculation and we are way ahead of ourselves here.Back to my lurking and again thank for your dd.
Jersey,I'm just a lurker both on IHUB & SI(subscriber on SI)with over 2.5mil shares and I was wondering why if their was a conversion of preferred shares to common,I would think that should show up as a reduction in the preferred shares in the consoladated statement of stockholders equity.Maybe my head is not all together today, but the January preferred numbers all fall down to March.Unless, they screwed around with the convertible shares?comments please
