You and me both!!!
This event is extremely well produced. The performances are a bit canned, but the production value is sky high.
I would encourage holding unless you all prefer the higher short-term capital gains taxes to the lower long-term capital gains taxes.
Is today our day??? Good luck to all!!!
I thought the exact same thing with the Galaxy Unpacked date tomorrow!
There have been rumors that the charging cable for the iPhone 12 would be braided rope like the HomePod cord. My theory ever since has been that there will be no ports on the iPhone 12 and that the braided cord will go to a wireless charging stand that will sit happily on your nightstand.
But does that mean folding phones that are already made public? Does it include the products that will be launched tomorrow at the Galaxy Unpacked event?
More breadcrumbs!
8/5/2020: The day that changes our lives?
possibly to accommodate a hinge on a folding unit!
Here is another overt reference to BMG in a soon-to-launch Samsung product:

This board was completely startled when Li first entered the picture. There was no warning before the public announcement. I keep reminding myself of that while keeping up hope.
Check out Eontec:

I believe this promo image was "new news" yesterday when it first appeared and our share price jumped over 30%:

The other relevant factor is that the size of iPhones has increased dramatically since the iPhone 4 and 5 "glass sandwich" design. The strength of the mid frame matters more now than ever. Liquidmetal achieves greater strength than steel with better 5G radio transparency. Fingers crossed that 2020 is our year! I'm getting old!
The color of the metal looks very much like the color of my iPhone SIM ejector tool that we know is made from LiquidMetal... just sayin.
And it is spelled Crome, not chrome!
Did anyone else notice that the words "amorphous metal" are the only words that appear bolded and italicized in the body of that patent filing, both times that they appear in it? Just an observation...
Are these Q&A snippets translated? I think "medium frame" means "mid frame."
Touché!
Reverse splits are generally bad UNLESS management effectively conveys a paradigm shift towards a more profitable future ahead. IF management can convey a sea change at the time of the reverse split, then the reverse split can be viewed positively by investors.
It’s a shame that we went through the motions of upgrading the electrical amperage in LF and then fairly immediately wound down capacity there, but it seems like it was a strategic decision that had enough good reasons to ignore the sunk cost of the upgrade. I think all the pieces are finally aligning. Can you all imagine waking up to $1 shares after big news finally arrives?
Fair enough, and it certainly is frustrating to hear nothing. However, I can still hear Tom Steipp's blathering conference calls and prefer an all-action executive who seems to be taking logical steps towards profitability over a salesman who does nothing but sell away exclusive rights for years. Li is better than Steipp, in my opinion, which is why I'm holding long with a large share count. I have also accepted that my shares could dwindle to a value of zero, which is something all penny stock investors must accept. I don't think that will happen though and look forward to better days ahead of us!
Any words that would reassure investors would also tip off the competition to Li's plans.
VERY indicative of BMG!
"Apple doubling down on bendable designs for MacBook, MacBook Pro"
"... may adopt a unibody design with a seamless bendable hinge mechanism to allow Apple to build them out of a single piece of material."

Is there a way for shareholders to demand a public update from the CEO of their company? We need SOMEthing to hang on to here!
Good leadership is 99% good communication. We've had 0 for years.
E*TRADE says earnings date is 3/10. Good luck to all longs!
I bought the band referenced in this patent 2 weeks ago from the Apple Store. When I removed a couple links I noted, "This has to be LiquidMetal." It is an ingenious design with impressive precision.
https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MUHJ2AM/A/38mm-silver-link-bracelet?fnode=78941fddbfe2d0094f1e303522e5d693b6e003295c0bb53c511f9f7190b9fa6fd2516f5365560d77cbbf9632fb72c2803c6063e866c4aa440d2dd72ed54533679a3afb65beebe2cd901bd23660b4c89a
Unfortunately, the description reads "Crafted from the same 316L stainless steel alloy as the case, the Link Bracelet has more than 100 components. The machining process is so precise, it takes nearly nine hours to cut the links for a single band. The custom butterfly closure folds neatly within the bracelet. And several links feature a simple release button, so you can add and remove links without any special tools."
More flexible without deformation too.
E*TRADE also says the 12th, but "unconfirmed".
and a pacemaker at the bottom.
It’s right by my favorite Tex Mex chain restaurant in Chicago (Chuy’s) and I’m happy to poke around next time I’m up there enjoying the creamy jalapeño dip!
