"Family Buck-and-a-Quarter" - ticker: FBQR
True, that.
...so that whole excuse from BHUB back in September (about some Jewish Holiday where the lawyer was out of the office) was a lie. Thought so.
As I recall we also had the "I don't have/I lost the Edgar code" excuses.
Florida corps are lame IMO.
Why, is there stuff there over $1.00?
Looks like trouble for Family Dollar...
It's that darn Discretionary Spending sector, just as we feared last week.
Grocer Supervalu reported a higher quarterly profit, but warned that inflation would continue to pressure consumer spending. Earnings fell at Family Dollar Stores as customers cut down on discretionary purchases.
In shares or in cash?
Aww, I like it! It has hearts and flowers and bunnies and cuddlies....
That's me!
Cute -what's a "SRFFOM"?
Board Note: TikiGal and Jimmenknee are currently involved in a bizarre and decidedly sadistic stock battle -- SKFT vs. LLEG. It's a tight race, but something's gonna pop soon I bet.
LLEG could tank, or it could consolidate into a nice bullish handle formation from here.
What do you see for SKFT tomorrow Tik?
Nope, PAIV. I finally bullied Fidelity into giving me my 100 roundup shares, and they're worth $2.40!
Weeeee! Up we go :)
If FDO does manage to run, I don't think it will be a big 'un. The williams has been unable to hold anything above the 50 since early September.
But it might be worth 15-20%.
Weeee, my shares are now worth $2.40! Weeee!
"Company committed to non-toxic financing"
How are they financed?
Yes, but with British accents.
LOL, a link to Paul Taylor?
Hmmm, there really isn't one. But I do know for a fact that Taylor was interested in the BCIT shell back when it got halted. I sent a message to Megas on Paul's behalf.
Megas replied that he didn't need any help, and wasn't interested in selling the shell to Paul or anyone.
I gave up thinking like that. For me, it was a real time and energy-waster. It was certainly exciting, but nothing productive ever seemed to come of it.
However, if my sudden (possibly suspicious?) presence here means we'll trade again soon, that would be fine with me. I have a bagful of BCIT shares I'm waiting to dump :)
SEED - apparently this one does not like going above it's upper bollinger band. If the pattern remains consistent, look for re-entry between $7.00 and $9.00.
Actually, you'd only be able to naked short this at .019. If you were aggressive about it, you could tank the the stock all by yourself. 10 million shares would do it.
5 million would get you to .01 or slightly less; then you'd continue shorting as you covered. I bet you could bank a 50% gainer overall.
I wouldn't recommend this though, as it's quite illegal in the US.
I didn't pick up on AKNS until the $8.00 range...that was a truly great call u made Nuk....5 bags!
SPZI - good luck!
I don't have a pinkie.
Awesome grub, T.
Yep, took me all of two minutes to decide to add RIG to my dream team. Good stocks are obvious :)
Wish I would have bought some, hmmmpf.
RIG - I added this one to the watch list at $101 in August. She's doing quite well...I'd be surprised if it doesn't double from there by Spring.
LOL
Cheeeeeeez, hello yourself! N.Y. was good, got sucked into a round of "20 Questions" with my 9-year-old nephew that ran over two hours.
Not counting the time we took to blow up some stuff, I estimate there were around 400 questions asked that night.
Hello my dear, looks like we lived to see another year :)
I just requested for you to be my friend at MS.
Wow, you're a PolkaDad!
What a beautiful son you have. Congratulations, even though you didn't really have to work for it :)
LOL, 'tis true. Took me several years to realize it meeself :)
Good stocks ARE obvious. If you have to dig for anything positive, you're in trouble lol.
FRPT - I think at least 1/2 of the huge climb from $7 to $31 was just a massive cover squeeze that got aggravated by the move to the NASDAQ. Shorters know to cover old positions by opening new positions (called averaging up).
Doing this generates positive cash in their accounts even though their short position $ increases. If their research is good (and it usually is), the day will come when the PPS finally collapses. Then it's Miller time.
Thith thtock suckth
The list has been forwarded to our Senior Software Gnome for updating. After an ancient, secret Gnomish ritual that he never talks about, LLEG will most likely appear.
:)
Perhaps it's just as well. It might ruin the sense of adventure.
The SPX is approaching it's proper channel IMO. I'm hoping the Street has realized this and leaves things alone until settles out.
1370-1400
Wait for it.
Hi Major. This info should be in the i-box IMHO.
Still have my shares Mikie. They sure look nice at .05, but they're not tradable according to my broker. I posted their email here on the board a few days ago. That's quite a sad story about your Dad....wow.

Message: Dear Mr. Serfdom:
I researched Bancorp International Group (BCIT) and found that the CUSIP is still 05968X106. I spoke with our Corporate Action group and was informed that we have not been provided any information on a reverse split, and we were also unable to find any information related to the new CUSIP, 05968X205.
If you have any other questions or comments in the meantime, please don't hesitate to reply. We appreciate your business and wish you happy holidays.
Sincerely,
Johnny Ochani

Edit: Who was it that bought RICK last year? I was watching millions of $ being pumped into it up until I took a break around the beginning of October.
It was
JLF OFFSHORE FUND LTD,JLF PARTNERS I, L.P.,FEINBERG JEFF
Eric, I don't see any indication in the chart that ETFC is going to pull off a gainer soon. No action on the williams or RSI; MACD is heading toward the baseline on decreasing volume which could very well mean this baby might flatline soon.
Hello Cy, I first became interested in Laidlaw last year around this time.
The stock has been in a downward channel for a long time (2-year weekly chart attached), but this latest uptrend seems to be holding where previous confirmations failed.
Note that on the latest uptrend the RSI and williams did not perform a single spike and crash like they did three times before. The PPS appears stable above the 50-day, and good things may well come of this.
I wish LLEG wasn't pink, but I like the buzz (especially in the news) surrounding the company.
