I still feel these purchases are positive. The timing my not be what some longs want but it does give our "cheerleaders" something to talk about.
I always wait for the sec filing.... someone could be screwing with you..
I do not see this... do you have a link?
I think he is done... The Rett movement today and the Rett org saying the trial will start in the fall all points to a PR talking about the start of the Rett trial. The Good Doctor bought these shares to signal to us longs that something good is coming down.
OMG! I need to sell my shares. If we don't get a PR in the morning or DR. M don't give us new info, all is lost! NOT!
Good Post and great read.. Thanks
Shorts have owned this stock for quite awhile now. I am long and staying that way until the Good Doctor fails to deliver.
Time is on our side till proven otherwise.
I believe the company is broke.
"ANAVEX™ 2-73 is an orally available drug candidate that restores cellular homeostasis by targeting sigma-1 and muscarinic receptors. Preclinical studies demonstrated its potential to halt and/or reverse the course of Alzheimer’s disease."
Could the Good Doctor make this statement in a PR if it weren't true?
Don't let the crooks take your shares...
Thanks Falconer,
I would still like to know what he meant by ...
PD AD MS Rett...etc.. aren't these sub types of CNS
It's like he had the Good Doctor over his shoulder... How many current drugs are addressing multiple diseases?

Excerpts from speech:

We’re also advancing the use of ‘Master Protocols’ to enable more coordinated ways to use the same trial structure to evaluate treatments in more than one subtype of a disease or type of patient.
This approach is particularly relevant when it comes to targeted drugs. These are drugs that may intervene on markers that are relevant across many different disease subtypes. We may, for example, want to evaluate these different targets simultaneously, as part of one large study. This could give us a better way to understand the comparative benefits of a drug across different settings. To enable these master protocols, it’s often important to do molecular patient screening. This can lead to the development of a diagnostic that can also be used to guide patient care.

Our goal is to see how we can accelerate methods that improve our ability to use advanced tools to meet FDA’s gold standard for regulation.
These methods are being applied to both common and rare diseases. FDA is also collaborating with scientists to use similar computational tools to develop natural history models, based on placebo arms in Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and muscular dystrophy. If we’re able to make better use of rigorous, reliable natural history models, especially for rare diseases, it can help make clinical trial recruitment more efficie
He is a professional... I am still waiting for a reply to my post....Crickets...
Almost looks like he is responding to the heavy fud we have had
I agree, unusable? not his normal mo
He purchased today...375 @ 4.23
I think a thumbs down would be more useful.
Welcome back Wolfman. We need more people of reason on this board. I am sure you have noticed the the amount of negativity has increased quite a bit since you were here last.
I did not think that. We are cool!
It has been announced either during the day or the night it happened. Lets see. I said so far.
So far it looks like the Good Doctor has finished his buying... We should see a PR soon... BTW has anyone seen RAKE (on Netflix) an Australian TV series that will give you some incite into the Aussie mentality. A great series.
Great post..... And above all "THE DRUG IS SAFE"
Remember this..
Anavex mentioned as positive opposed to axon...
"Many long-investors, in hope of exposing their portfolios to the space, are looking to Anavex Life Sciences Corp (NASDAQ: OTCQX:AVXL), who are initiating Phase III trials this year. Their candidate, Anavex 2-73 is also being tested for other neurological disorders, including Rett's, Parkinson's and Multiple Sclerosis, among others. Thinly traded stock open to manipulation. and they have been gunning for us.
Those that heeded his signal last time did very well!
I am sure the size of the purchases are based on SEC rules about insiders buying/selling stock
The Good Doctors buys = "hang in there the big one is coming".
Number of shares is meaningless.
Those who doubt this should sell. IMO
Yes there was.... https://www.streetinsider.com/SEC+Filings/Form+4+ANAVEX+LIFE+SCIENCES+For%3A+Sep+11+Filed+by%3A+MISSLING+CHRISTOPHER+U/13285312.html
For some reason IHUB didn't post it.

Can you see it now?
You continue to ignore the obvious... Please read this.. https://www.fda.gov/NewsEvents/Speeches/ucm575400.htm . and tell me how this does not relate to Anavex 2-73
The Good Doctor is not meeting with PFE, he is in DC talking to the FDA and NIH... just following some clues...
