You only need to remain above $1 for 10 days in order to achieve compliance. 30 days is when you lose compliance.
Keep in mind that the $6-7 spike was due to a reverse split when they listed on the NASDAQ...nothing to do with volume or interest.
So Holston's Decatur shop supplies Covanta Huntsville. So obviously, Covanta is the utility that Magnegas doesn't mention in its PRs. I am going to contact Covanta Huntsville tomorrow and ask about their MG2 use. Each location also provide facility tours, so I am sure they won't mind talking about MG2 as well.
Also, don't forget that Magnegas was invited to that investors conference with Covanta a few months ago.
Have you guys ever heard of Googling? It's not that hard to figure out the clues that they give us.
The distributor is Holston Gas:
http://holstongases.com/company-info-2/about/
http://holstongases.com/locations/
Everything in the header of the PR matches the locations (exactly 4 in Alabama).
I also contacted the Decatur, AL shop and they have MG2 and the regulator. They also told me that they supply some pretty large industrial customers with MG2, which I will remain nameless and you can ask yourselves since I did enough DD for a day.
Magnegas has been busy the past two weeks according to their new blog post on their website: http://blog.magnegas.com/2016/04/29/a-new-way-to-fuel/
Hello fellow Magnegas Fans! Check out this article about the accident if you haven't already: http://www.tampabay.com/news/publicsafety/a-year-later-cause-of-fatal-tarpon-springs-explosion-remains-a-mystery/2271043
It is well written about what happened with the accident, how the company improved from it, and addressed a few outstanding issues that the company is currently addressing.
I think the important takeaway is that the wounded employee returned to work at the company. Albeit receiving a promotion, if the leadership or the work environment was toxic, then no one in their right mind would return to work at the same place after being injured in a fatal accident.
It seems like the worker who passed away enjoyed working there as well. May he rest in peace!
Cocombustion expected in Q2 according to this article. Ermanno is CEO of the Month for this UK magazine: http://wealthandfinance-intl.com/ceo-of-the-month-ermanno-santilli
Great Article posted today! No disclaimers that MNGA paid for it either! Check it out: http://magazine.weldingproductivity.com/2016/mar/d/#page49
If you guys weren't tracking...Ermanno just got back from a trip to Sierra Leone. We were tracking his location tags on Twitter over at ST. I'm sure we'll hear about it soon.
New interview about Mexican Gas Order, Future Production, and Cocombustion:
http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/stocktube/4676/magnegas-chief-exec-says-mexican-gas-order-opens-new-market-opportunities-in-region-4676.html
It might be DTE and not Duke since the verification tests are being done in Michigan. Ermanno also hinted by sharing a post on StockTwits of a picture of DTE plants that @deercamp posted.
Duke is probably using MG2 along with Covanta and PSEG for metalcutting because when I made a comment about Duke not using it, Ermanno said not to jump to conclusions.
All of this are IMHO and DD...but I can be wrong.
LOL...Carla is his mom...I hope they're not "honey"...check out StockTwits for a response from Magnegas about her selling shares.
The short article is no longer on the NASDAQ website. Unfortunately...Seeking Alpha still has it up. Ermanno tweeted about it this afternoon. Anyone buying up these discounted prices?
A guy named Heat posted this on ST, but it's a lot of good info on how to measure chemicals in the flue gas, how the measuring equipment works, and some of the basic science behind combustion.
http://www.tsi.com/uploadedFiles/_Site_Root/Products/Literature/Handbooks/CA-basic-2980175.pdf
It obviously doesn't talk about cocombustion because no one has really implemented the concept yet that I know of...so when Magnegas and its JV verifies it with the utility's independent lab...WATCH OUT!!!
From the previous Cocombustion PR:
"MagneGas is pleased to announce that our co-combustion verification is stronger than ever with new results, new applications and new intellectual property. As I shared during our last quarterly conference call the co-combustion team, made up of experts from MagneGas, FuturEnergy and a confidential partner, identified the optimal gas composition necessary for co-combustion. In addition we have identified another coal co-combustion application which may be economically viable both of which are very significant events in their own right. Using this new fuel, we were able to again see dramatic reductions in many pollutants each with strong value in the energy market and were able to more than double flue gas temperatures through the combustion of coal flue gas with no increase in CO2 emission. We have put our independent power company lab on notice for final verification testing," stated Ermanno Santilli, CEO, MagneGas Corporation. "I believe the COP21 agreement is the start of a more robust market for renewable technologies such as our co-combustion solution and we look forward to continued advancements throughout 2016."
Who knows when that will be, but people are complaining that cocombustion is delayed, but the 8k doesn't state that at all.
Well hopefully they publish the results of the NASA testing. It would be great if NASA's minds were blown by some new form of chemistry. It would be great validation of the technology!
I guess it depends on how you read it...you are more than welcome to message them on Facebook and ask. I bug them enough, so I will wait a few days...maybe even until the New Year to write another message.
I had this conversation with Ermanno on Twitter:
Me: "Ermanno, does MG1 have the same flame temperature as MG2? Just curious which gas was tested at the City College of New York. I am going to assume you're going to have both gases tested by NASA."
Ermanno: "We have never tested the flame temperature of MagneGas 2 but we believe it is very similar to MagneGas 1 if not higher as it cuts even faster. The testing at NASA has nothing to do with temperature so we will not be re-doing those tests."
Hope this clarifies the awkward SA transcript who calls acetylene..."settling"...which is phonetically correct, but may confuse new investors trying to conduct their own DD.
I posted this on ST, but I'm not sure how to post pictures on here. But I asked Magnegas this question about cocombustion, and this was their response:
Me: "Good morning. When you recently retested the Cocombustion results. Do you guys use the same parameters, systems, and equipment that the independent lab would use for their verification?"
Magnegas: "Yes, we are working under a detailed written plan from the verification agency that specifies the process and testing requirements."
So, hopefully, this gives you a better warm and fuzzy about the upcoming verification, unless they screwed up their own tests somehow and last week's PR was completely a fluke. Too bad Ermanno couldn't talk about it during his CNBC session in London and had to take a defensive stance instead against the malicious SA article.
I know a lot of people were disappointed because they didn't specifically mention CO2 reduction rates, but wouldn't doubling the heat with no increase mean less CO2 reductions since coal plants won't have to use as much coal? Maybe my logic is flawed a bit...but here's their response to my question from them:
Me: "One last question, from the latest Coco PR that was buried by the SA article. The decreases that you mentioned...are all those on top of CO2 reductions as mentioned in previous interviews and PRs?"
Magnegas: "It is reductions in co2 and by doubling even tripling the temp co2 should as well but is reduced"
I also asked about their "new gas":
Me:"So did you guys create MG3 for the final verification coco testing?"
Magnegas: "No mg3 more of a magnegas 1 version not the best for metal working but awesome for coco."
I hope this helps you all. Let me know if you have any questions, but you can always directly call them or FB message them. Most of my interaction has been through FB.
I don't know where you are vacationing...but sounds like fun. Your family must be excited about your DD too.
You can actually check out the company through Google Earth...and sopman on Stock Twits goes by once in a while and posts pictures for us all.
But what a dramatic, crazy year for MNGA! An accident...two short seller articles...but I think it was a good foundational year for MG2 exposure. Unfortunately, we have to wait longer for CoCombustion, but hopefully it will work out.
Do you guys have any doubts about the CoCo PR? I'm sure it's buried in older posts on top of all the SA rebuttals, etc.
Unfortunately, but true...when the accident happened back in April...it proved that the company actually existed and wasn't a shell owned by the Italian mafia. I also contacted Municipal Equipment Company because they were a recent PR back then, and they said that they have never seen anything burn as hot before, which made me buy back in in the .60s.
I'm not going to lie...I sold for a profit in hopes of getting in cheaper, but my amateur investor knowledge thought that I had to wait 3 days to buy back in. I called Vanguard and they said that I'm misinformed and that I'll be good as long as I don't sell again before the settlement date, so I bought back in today in the high $1.60s! ARGH! Hopefully I'll be alright.
Check out Squash's pictures on ST! He recently got a MG2 bottle from AWISCO so he's going to be posting some videos as he compares MG1 VS MG2 VS Acetylene!!
Do you know how long it takes to build one of these refineries? I wonder if CoCo was successful and a utility company wanted a few on site...how they would ramp up refinery manufacturing capabilities. They are already backlogged with MG2 as it is! I guess this would be a good problem to have though. :)
Well, just for expectation management, I think we should expect CoCombustion news next quarter. Ermanno said that the Aussies will be in town during the weeks after the CC to conduct the preliminary tests before the final verification. I think his Tweet last week hinted that they were in town and possibly, things have gone well by quoting "Apocalypse Now". So if by end of month...MERRY CHRISTMAS!! If not, then we'll have official CoCo Day next quarter! FREAKEN EXCITED!!!
Dr. Moors is no longer pumping MNGA on his website. Either he got his 363 suckers to pay him to reveal MNGA or part of an elaborate scheme to get the price up to $2 for warrants to be exercised. It's just interesting that it's all coincidentally happening at the same time. Plus, Monkey Said Invest's page mysteriously disappeared overnight. I am long, but the timing of all these events seem a bit fishy.
Ssshhh....Dr. Moors said to be quiet until January and then you can tell the world...lol
We are speculating right? I am going off the limited info we have from the ER and CC. Anyone contact any other distributors? Green Arc doesn't seem to have any issues yet.
The label is dated March 2015...but the accident happened in April followed by the investigations. Does anyone know what the approx. $50k fine was for? You don't get fined that much for having a daisy chain of power extention cords.
If you check out Ermmano's Twitter account...there's a picture from the conference that has all the sponsors. Pretty much you had all the big Defense Contractors in attendance and more! Exciting times...2016 is going to be fun!
According to the CC, wasn't the 2nd unit brought up because they had to make MG1 again while trying to meet demands for MG2?
Hey bro...I didn't come up with it. If you read the CC, Ermanno said they are going to have NASA test the gas. Here's what I copy/pasted from the transcript from Seeking Alpha:
"We are doing a final test with naphtha as I mentioned to look at the gas composition, determine if there was something maybe in the bottle after hydro or something wrong with the bottle. The DOT investigation is still inconclusive. They have told us and I think I had mentioned this in the past but unfortunately sometimes you may never know exactly what caused this, it could be one bottle out of a million, which had, not properly spun or is damaged, we may never know. But we are using this opportunity to deepen our understanding of MagneGas’ gas. The typical gas analysis you perform is around $800, the naphtha is going to be around $6,000 to $8,000. So we are going to go soup to nuts, we are going to look at everything and we are planning on being there when they're actually doing analysis.
The good news about naphtha is that once we're naphtha that calls to an additional door opener, which who knows one day we may be demonstrating MagneGas to NASA or one of those subcontractors."
NASA Testing Results?
I know Ermanno said they're going to invest money for NASA to test Magnegas for the Department of Transportation. For you experts out there, any chance that this testing can come back negative in any way so that the DOT bans it from US roads?
There was a 1:10 split on Jun 26, 2012:

Check out the Company when you scroll over the blue categories in the latest PR: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/magnegas-presentation-fortune-500s-government-130000615.html
Midwest Steel looks like a big company that cuts a lot of steel!!!
I asked thru FB and they said Nov 15 is ER release.
Older briefing by Luisa but very informative about margins, projects, etc.
http://www.equities.com/media-gallery/414-magnegas-presentation
Saw this on ST...
Good to know that the Pinellas move is happening since it's on their county's website:
http://www.pced.org/?page=green&hhSearchTerms=%22magnegas%22
Whatever happened to the partnership with Georgia Tech last year?
They had a contract with their combustion lab. Perhaps these guys are the ones conducting the cocombustion testing?
http://www.streetinsider.com/Corporate+News/MagneGas+Corp.+(MNGA)+Reports+Agreement+with+Georgia+Tech/9686886.html
However, interesting to see that Georgia Tech is one of the research universities for CII: https://www.construction-institute.org/research/res-univ.cfm?section=res
So...Kickin Gas Partners is now called ESSI North? I feel like they recycled this PR a few times already with a new twist each time. Hopefully they can stick to the timelines established in this PR unlike cocombustion and the refinery sales. COME ON ERMANNO! EXECUTE!
