I don't think anyone was trying to. :(
To answer your first question I believe that they talked to the FAA about having a non-perfect pass. That's why they had the tape installed. It's like when aircraft get sealed before launches the next day after preflight inspections. I believe the local FAA was on board for it but the pass still has to be evaluated by the headquarters of the FAA that's why it's presumably a good thing that Washington has all the documentation.
For your second question I'm not sure. I recommend calling Baltia when they open. I might try calling today but I live in Japan so it'll be hard for me since I'll have to wait until the early am to call.
But I believe they are trying their best. It doesn't help that individuals might be harassing the FAA.
Don't quote me on any of this though it's all "heresay" from forums. The best option is to always call Baltia and verify yourself.
Hope my answers helped a bit.
Baltia has exclusive rights.
It sounds like you want them to do a kick starter campaign.
Thank you my friend.
I figured as much. I'm still pretty new to posting. Just been lurking around for a while last year and more recently from 6 months ago. Just wanna help out and spread some knowledge.
I wouldn't be surprised if you did. I'm pretty sure I found it through a Google search while trying to research the history. I think they should give tentative dates like a rough timeline of what to expect. However I can understand why they don't. Because if they were to drop dates left and right about when they expect things to occur and they don't happen it's going to make them look like bags of dirt. So I can understand why they have not gave us a timeline and refuse to do so.
I know you're agreeing with me but would you like me to try to find it and post the link for everybody?
I read an article a while back talking about BLTA when it first started trying to become an airline as we all know some 25 years ago. They won the route in an auction or something like that but, couldn't secure the necessary funds to proceed anywhere with the certification. I think they were just trying to get a loan or some help from the government. Eventually they had to re-purchase the route I think and that was more like 5-10 years ago maybe. I'm horrible with dates so I'm not exactly sure. But this time they had access to some funds maybe not as much as they would have liked. None the less they were able to start the certification progress. So to my knowledge most, if not all of the progress has been accomplished very recently. The article made it sound like they were practically dead in the water before the 2000 era. If you want I could dig around and see if I can find it for you. :3
I believe it'll be a pass man. I'm not worried. BLTA all the way babyyyyy!
Well guess we stuck until a pass then. We just need some true American heroes to help us out.
I got a friend that is telling me he plans to buy 2 mil shares. Probably won't though. If he does though could help us out hopefully?
Lets hope it continues an upward trend.
That's what I'm feeling right now too. Gotta start getting the name out now.
I'm pretty sure lt said a while ago they would do proving runs if they passed in the beginning of August.
I think they might be waiting on the FAA to finish the paper work and approve the pass or fail. In my experience dealing with aircraft maintenance they usually wait on official word on a pass or fail before proceeding with the next step because there isn't any reason to do extra work.
It's easier to assume the negative.
I'd say it depends on the passing the ditching test as well. Since there's no reason to PR a fail since they've never done that. But you're right if they do a PR it'll hopefully be today. I'll most likely hear about it for "my tomorrow" it's already almost 9 pm where I'm at. My bad.
It's all good. I'm pretty confident that Baltia passed. Have you heard anything on when they plan to start the proving flights? I thought I read something either posted by you or someone else that proving flights were tentatively schedule for the first few weeks in August.
Also thank you for all your posts I don't live in America currently so calling HQ is usually a hassle for me.
I don't expect a PR until tomorrow or the day after.
Any chance you could upload the pictures? Or send them privately?
