Is this one of our lawyers now: Andy Tindel

I think you are talking about something else. The company that I am talking about was in Hong Kong. I wonder if the company was ever a real going concern. I remember them having a website but its been years since I have been to it and I cannot find it now. It could be we gave them a bunch of money and stock for the wrong reasons.
In 2005 CLYW bought a 16.8% interest in RV Techology LTd. as well as 100% of Sleipner SA.

I don't know if these companies exist anymore or not. If they do could we sale them to raise some cash? Chances are they are gone, but who knows.
If this has already been discussed/resolved on the board and is considered old news then my apologies.

Given the situation as it is, the current management/BOD are incapable of making a deal that will result in licensing fees, etc. The company needs a team of industry experts to make this investment happen and there is no more money to do this and I am not willing to dilute my investment any more.
Recent efforts by some of the BOD to appoint friends to the Board, accusations of insider training, etc. are very disappointing. We do not have a serious, sophisticated leadership team.
Excluding a miracle on the T-MOB case, the time to sell the company has come, finally.
wc
My opinion is that the company should be sold to the highest bidder via a custodian. I might change my mind if the new CTO can lay out a viable and achievable plan in the next 60 days showing how we can monetize the patent; but I wonder if he has ever done this before.
Going back to the drawing board and issuing more shares, finding more investors, etc. etc. under the auspices of any of the existing board members is a waste of time and money. I do honor and appreciate DW's efforts in hopefully saving at least some of my investment. But, he has the same problem that the rest of the board members have: no experience in the industry and no know how of how to make this kind of business happen/successful.
With the way things are now I am willing to trust the judge.

Can someone point me to the transcripts of the court hearing?
Thanks,

If you could replace Turrini, who would you replace him with?
Would selling the company be a viable option? Don't know if this has been discussed here or not. At the shareholders' forum, this came up briefly and CT indicated that we should not do this. But, if the price is right, why not?
Does anybody have any thoughts on the Pros and Cons of staying on our current path versus selling?

No, sorry.
Just sent funds.

Your thought in the last two sentences of your post is something that I have pondered about before. Can yourself, or someone else, connect the dots and show how Robert Leon came into association with Calypso initially? I know this goes back aways, but of all the questions that I would like to have an answer to, that is the first one.
The tone of this board has improved in a positive sense from several years ago and that is nice to see.
Respectfully,
wampuscat
Just read the judge's Order Denying Transfer. The transfer was denied relative to Local Rule 3.2.2. However, the Judge has asked the Defendant to provide a written response back to the court by 10:00 AM Monday, 15 November 2010 in regards to Plaintiffs request to transfer based upon Local Rule 3.2.1.
When I read Plantiffs argument for transfer a week or two ago, I thought that Local Rule 3.2.1 was more applicable to the case than 3.2.2, but I'm not a lawyer either.
Looks like the possibility of transfer to the 151st still exists. If this info/idea has already been discussed by the board, my apologies.

final4,
I am not an expert on the timeframe required to move from the pinksheets to the OTCBB. Can you advise as to how long you think, or anybody else for that matter, it would take CLYW? I am invested in another company that recently moved to the OTCBB. It took them around 18 months, I believe, to make the move; maybe it was 12-18 months, I cannot remember exactly. But, I would say their corporate history is much, much better than Calypso's.
Is there a way to fasttrack a move to the OTCBB, or is Calypso already well down the path for making the move? I seriously doubt either, but believe that we are looking at 18-24 months before a move to the OTCBB would be approved, if Calypso is starting from scratch. Maybe if significant revenues from licensing agreements started coming in, it would speed up the process.

wampuscat
AngelHillCorp,
The answer to your question is 'Yes'. My apologies for the public response. If you need to discuss this further, we will via email. Please confirm that you read this post via PM. Feel free to delete this post after reading it.

All,
IMO, one of the main attributes of this board should be a posting environment that allows for open debate of the issues in a respectful manner.
While I do not review every post, there are many that I have for which I do disagree with the contents of, but, I have not deleted them.
There is no doubt that Calypso's history is very checkered. I believe that the negative opinions are just as important as the positive ones. As I have basically said before, much of the negative is rooted in fact. I know because I have followed Calypso since 2003.
But, with the management change at Calypso and the company's change in business plan, vigorous open debate is more important than ever. Let's not forget this, and what it takes from the board members to have it.
Regards,
wampuscat
JW,
Feel free to request whatever investigative efforts you feel need to be performed. If your threatening style continues I will discuss with IHUB management the correct course of action to take in regards to your posting.
Regards,
wampuscat
All,
IHUB has informed me that the 'Mod Squad' will be following this board. Their assistance is welcome!

wampuscat
All,
In the interest of full disclosure, I am a long in Calypso Wireless. I approve of negative and positive posting when it is based on facts and not exaggerative claims, or suggestive writing styles.
I will not scrutinize everything that is posted to the closest detail. I have plenty of other things to do than supervise the complete content of this board. But, the ridiculous will be targeted, the positive and the negative.
Feel free to hold me responsible or remind me of things that I have posted in the past. But, if I don't respond immediately or ever to any challenges, its probably because I am offline doing things I enjoy.
Let's just keep it above board and with respect. The verdict will finally come in on Calypso Wireless, soon enough; one way or the other.
Regards,
wampuscat
All,
I am not a paying subscriber to investorshub, so I cannot send private messages. So, I will respond for all to see, when I chose to do so. I apologize for any inconvenience to members of the board.
If indeed Calypso Wireless has changed, then I believe this board should begin to change. This board has been vicious over the years, and I have been reading it almost since its inception.
It must be noted that I am not the moderator of this board, nor have I ever been one. I will accept this assignment on a temporary basis, to see how it goes.
FWIW, I am indeed, an individual investor, in search of the facts. I agree with many of the statements made by both sides, especially the negative posts; because they contain much truth. But, the old management team is out! A new one is in, who seem to have a sense of direction, and yes, I'll say integrity, especially when compared to the old management team, which had absolutely none!
My advice to all is to focus on the facts. The shareholder meeting and technical conference should enlighten us all.
Regards,
wampuscat
trueMagoo,
If you can provide verifiable documentation that the words you posted as being Akshay Sharma's are indeed his, I will restore your post 25788.

All,
For some reason I have been given the job of 'Assistant' on this board. I will act with the powers given to me by this assignment, until directed otherwise.
Therefore, I regard all posts which use the phrase 'POS' as vulgar and will remove them. Furthermore, repetitive posting of information will also be deleted.
More to come; and I will be fair to both sides.
wampuscat
Billcoln,
Read this from the last PR:
"Calypso Wireless is the company behind the ASNAP(tm) technology for which it was granted U.S. Patent #6,680,923 titled "Communication system and method" (http://www.uspto.gov search U.S. patent number 6,680,923), which covers the seamless roaming of voice, video and data between Wide Area Network access points, such as cellular towers (GSM/GPRS/EDGE, CDMA, WCMDA etc.) and short-range Internet access points (such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.)."
http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/070409/20070409005753.html?.v=1
Maybe Calypso doesn't write every sentence in every PR correctly, but at least they wrote a patent application correctly, and were subsequently awarded a patent by the USPTO.
Regards,
wampuscat
Billcoln,
In your post you say that if you were in charge you would get the media in as quickly as possible to review the technology etc. etc. Well in Calypso's last PR it states the following:
"Calypso Wireless, Inc. will host a media and technical demonstration conference in the Grand Doral Room of the Intercontinental West Miami Hotel located at 2505 NW 87th Avenue, Miami, Florida 33172 on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. EST. "
http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/070409/20070409005753.html?.v=1
Calypso's new CEO is doing precisely what you would do. Shouldn't you be applauding this move, since it is what you think should be done?
I have been invested in this company for over three years, and I know a lot of the history; this is the first time that a shareholder meeting will be held, that I know of, that is at least open to the investing public. That is a positive sign.
The other positive sign is that Calypso is up over 1000% in the last few weeks. Obviously, the market is speaking loud and clear.
Regards,
wampuscat
All, Let me correct my previous post regarding proxies. Information/instructions regarding proxies will be posted in a little more than two weeks.
My apologies.
wampuscat
All,
With the recent surge, I had speculated that it was due to the new controlling interests of Calypso, whoever they are, taking a position, or attempting to raise and support the stock price. But, today with a rough approximation of $1MM worth of buying of the stock, I wonder if it is because there is a real deal in the works, and somebody knows it. I don't know how much money has flowed into the stock, the past few weeks, but its not chump change.
I have been invested in this company for almost four years, and what is going on here of late is hard to understand; for me, anyway. The PR that came out recently cannot justify the buying that has been occurring. IMO, the buying is a move by the new supporters of Calypso, or a real deal is coming, and it is getting out. All IMO, of course.
Regards,
wampuscat
All,
Proxies for the shareholders meeting will appear on Calypso's website in a little more than two weeks. Also, Calypso is still using Malloy & Malloy as their patent attorneys. Finally, when asked about the current status of the ASNAP technology, and whether it was ready for an enterprise deployment; the answer was, "Yes".
Regards,
wampuscat
They are also considering giving everybody who attends the shareholder meeting a free 30-Day trial of the Blubaster technology.
Regards,
wampuscat
All,
At the shareholders meeting there will be a demonstration of the ASNAP technology using two cell phones; there will also be a demonstration of the Blubaster technology.
For those shareholders that are not able to attend the shareholders meeting, there will be a 1-800 number to call and listen to the shareholders meeting. The number will be posted on the website.
Also, at this time, there will be some votes on some issues at the meeting. You need to attend the meeting or send in a proxy to have your votes count.
The Q&A responses from the meeting will be posted on the website.
I'll try to find out more.
Regards,
wampuscat
plaintif2000,
My understanding is that the old BOD is gone, though they are probably still shareholders; I do not know one way or the other. I think the old CFO is still there.
Regards,
wampuscat
Anybody going to the shareholder's meeting on May 17th? Should be very interesting. Also interesting is that trueMagoo and billcoln haven't posted in a while. I wonder if the interests that have been attacking the stock for so long have left.
I also heard that offers have been extended to other new potential managers.
Maybe a new day is indeed beginning...
Regards,
wampuscat
Atmel is a nice catch for Airbee! Projected rev of over $1.5B for 2007, 8000 employees, etc. Atmel is a participant of the Zigbee Alliance.
Here is a link regarding Atmel Zigbee product info.

Can anyone offer an update regarding the current involvment of Carlos Mendoza and the COB? Also, any information regarding the source of potential new funding would be appreciated.
Thanks,
wampuscat
trueMagoo,
I cannot believe that you are still here bashing away on Calypso Wireless! How long have you been bashing CLYW? A year and a half, two years? The game is most likely over for CLYW, but yet you spend your time here. Why?
Bro', I hope that you are being paid for your time here.
BTW, care to offer documentation backing up your statement that Calypso has billions of shares outstanding? You use to not be so sloppy.
Regards,
wampuscat
I don't if this is new or not, but it seems new to me. Airbee and Nanotron Technologies are working/partnering together.

Does anybody know if the litigation involving Richard Sommerfield is completely over?
Thanks,
wampuscat
abew4me,
Thank you for sharing the information you obtained at the shareholder's meeting. A couple of questions, and if you don't have time I understand.
1. Did you receive any information regarding gross margins of the various Airbee products?
2. Was there a 2006 fiscal year revenue target mentioned?
3. How many people were in attendance?
4. Were there any questions regarding our competition, and how we are stacking up?
Thanks again!
wampuscat
plaintif2000,
I am still invested in Calypso. I made inquiries regarding the expected new team. I believe that the final piece of the puzzle will be put in place, in the very short term, and that is a legitmate CEO. The information that I have is that it is likely a former CEO of a publicly traded company. This change has been needed for well over two years, IMO. Several Calypso personnel will be out, and new blood coming in. The transition will be amicable, and cooperative; that's my understanding anyway. Everyone down there at Calypso wants this company to succeed, the comers and goers.
I haven't received any other replies from Mr. Sharma.
I still read the board, and will post only on occassion.
Best of luck,
wampuscat
YAAWWWWNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!
Bash away trueMagoo, and be happy!!
