GratziPrego:
Look, you have to ask yourself, What promises has Matin kept?
Answer NONE
2004 Audit? he kept delaying, delaying, and finally he doesn't even mention it anymore, like oh well, too bad for you shareholders.
Why Doesn't the Veltex-Explorer website work? How can he be making all those sales with no internet option for customers?
Veltex doesn't own Velvet Textile Mills.
Veltex is involved in a lawsuit with Gidget for failure to comply with the contract.
Veltex Never acquired JOhn Daly Enterprises as touted several times. Sure anyone can BUY a license, but that costs money.
KCA was acquired for about $10 - $20 thousand in VLVT stock.
It's a very small sweatshop, that has maybe 10 people at most. It's not producing the $16.2 Million Sales Claimed (per Matin 2004).
At best, this co. is breakeven or a few pennies profit PER YEAR.
In my opinion, the fair value is not more than $0.34.
If I were you, I would not average down and face even higher risk of loss of capital.
I lost alot of money believing Matin's P.R., O.K., some will laugh at me. Hey, I didn't know until I went to the Vegas Trade show and later found out the RN numbers on the apparel didn't match Veltex's or any of the subsidiaries.
Matin is good at fooling investors, I'll give him that. Unfortunetly, a lot of honest investors have lost alot of money along the way.
I care about other investors, I don't care for dishonest people like Matin. If you find anything that I said here as not being accurate, I'll give you $15,000.
Good luck!
Wade, In my opinion, I would keep SIMC. After all, even with the sharp rise in the stock price, there has been NO insider selling.
http://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?company=&CIK=simc&filenum=&State=&SIC=&o...
I would keep CFK and TGE too as I still think exploration companies should do well. I understand the seasonality, especially with CFK, but most institutional investors look at least 6 months out and I think they will be buyers on any weakness.
NUHC Nu Horizons Electronics - Anyone following them?
P/S only 0.28
P/ Tangible Book only 1.2
55% YoY revenue growth
14.4% Sequential revenue growth
EPS 0.17 vs .03
2006 EPS est $0.69
2007 EPS est $1.09
2007 forward P.E. only 9.
Another SIMC ?
On June 15, 2006, the Company entered into a non-binding letter of intent to acquire DT Electronics Limited, a franchised technical distributor of electronic components based in Coventry, United Kingdom. Consummation of the transaction is subject to certain requirements, including the satisfactory completion by the Company of its due diligence investigation and the execution by the parties of a definitive purchase agreement that has been approved by the Company’s board of directors. The transaction is expected to close on or about August 15, 2006. Financing for the acquisition will come from the Company’s existing cash on hand plus borrowings on current bank lines of credit.
Just an idea. Who knows how good in this market environment. I'm just trying to share (what appear to me to be) high growth stocks trading at reasonable prices.
I bought a little more SIMC. I still think it's going to make about $0.17 EPS vs $.03 when they report soon.
But, I could always be wrong.
GLE - Gold prices have up about $90.00 per ounce in the last 1-2 weeks.
Numbers taken for the Q1 press release as follows:
Average realized prices for gold sales were $555 per ounce and cash operating costs per ounce of gold sold were $352
Today, the price of Gold (right now is $661.10).
So, $661.10 - $352 (costs per ounce) = $309.10 net profit per ounce.
The numbers are constantly changing.

GLE : I think it's a great buy!
With the price of gold continuing to go up (Currently $660.50 per ounce), GLE makes about $290.00 net profit per ounce. Profit per ounce will also increase as the new mines are more efficient than the 1 older mine.
With the 2nd new mine now in operation, (total of 3 producing mines) gold production in 2006, should be 100,000 to 120,000 ounces.
If we use 110,000 ounces as a reasonable estimate then,
110,000 * $290 = $31,900,000 net profit
divided by / 240,301,000 shares outstanding = $0.13 EPS
Current price $0.63 / $0.13 = 4.8 P.E.
Sales growth was 121% for 03/31/2006 qtr vs 03/31/2005.
The growth in gold production will continue as they are beginning to work on a 4th mine in Panama that they will own 60% of and that could add an additional 36,000 ounces per year.
A new institutional investor now controls 23.141 Million, or 9.63% of the oustanding shares as of the 13G filed on 07/06/2006.

GLE , with gold prices at a 5 week high stocks like GLE and EZM stand to gain!!
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601082&sid=aOaNiLC6Tg4Y&refer=canada
GLE Earnings estimates raised for both 2006 & 2007
2006 EPS Est now $0.09
2007 EPS est now $0.14
With the share price only $0.64, I think it's way undervalued given it's high growth.
http://marketwatch.nytimes.com/custom/nyt-com/html-earningestimate.asp?symb=gle&x=23&y=11
Ask .0002? What's up with that? I have not seen this in a while.
Not that I recommend buying, but maybe those who own it should force a higher asking price.
SIMC, Wade, I agree, It's been performing nicely. I sold some a few days ago since it was at a high % over the 50 day average, but I picked up a little today (wish I would have bought more)!
EZM = Easy Money (so far so good)!
I think LTXX will have great earnings too, but semi equip has been weak, so I just have to be patient and see.
CAMT appears to holding up nicely.
Wade : Do you still have HOM ?
Just curious. Just based on risk vs reward and low valuation right now, I went ahead and bought some.
I know Cornerstone is expanding into Arizona and who knows, if they get a fair share of the New Orleans rebuilding, they may do O.K.
I don't plan on a big position or anything, just hope to get a mid term decent gain on it.
2morrowsGains MERX : Yes, it's performing very well.
I added some as the earnings estimates were raised.
I think it's a very good stock and I hope it does really well.
Thanks!!
Good Luck!!
GLE closes the acquisition of a mine that can boost gold production by 50%. Currently they have 2 mines producing about 100,000 ounces of gold per year. The new mine is expected to produce 45,000 - 55,000 ounces of gold per year for the next 6-7 years.
http://news.moneycentral.msn.com/ticker/article.asp?Feed=MW&Date=20060706&ID=5849233&Sym...
Kerry Knoll commented on the mine's potential as follows; "Glencairn already operates one gold mine in Nicaragua, and this experience together with our heap leach mine in Costa Rica means we can bring our considerable expertise to bear on this project. We have known La Libertad for many years and recognize that it has been under-funded for some time. With the infusion of capital initiated by Yamana, we believe that La Libertad, based on currently outlined reserves, can sustain production levels in the range of 45,000 to 55,000 ounces of gold per year for at least six or seven years from open pit operations. Plus, there is a significant amount of additional underground and open pit potential. Operational improvements under consideration include the addition of tertiary crushing, an upgrade to the screening circuit and converting to permanent leach pads. Currently, the lack of adequate pad capacity means that the ore is being off-loaded before the leach cycle is completed. The permanent pads, combined with a finer crush size, is expected to optimize recoveries. Further, we understand that there is a significant amount of spent ore grading in the range of 0.8 to 1.2 grams per tonne that can likely be re-processed at attractive costs thereby improving the economics of the project."

DXPE VS TGE
Yearly Sales growth
15.4 vs 53%
Q1 06 vs Q1 05
49.5% vs 155.2%
Sequentially Q1 06 vs Q4 05
14.3 vs 49.5
I don't know, both seem very good. TGE seems to have an edge in sales growth, but DXPE seems to have an edge in EPS growth.
Tough call, maybe we should own both?
I quess we have 4 more months to wait eh? C.E.O.'s lockup agreement ends in November 2006. I would expect some news at that time. I wonder what the short interest ratio is?
EZM I'll be adding more on Wednesday.
Thanks for the news Bob!!!
GLE Just a little more info:
2005, they had just 1 mine producing 40,000 + ounces of gold
2006 A 2nd mine producing about 60,000 ounces is now in full production
2006 (in the next week or so) An acquisition of a 3rd mine with about 40,000-55,000 ounces per year will close.
2006 production should be about 120,000 ounces. With current gold prices they make about $200 net profit per ounce = $24,000,000 / 205,000,000 shares outstanding = $0.12.
2007 production should be about 160,000 ounces. With current gold prices they make about $200 net profit per ounces = $32,000,000 / 205,000,000 shares outstanding = $0.16.
With the stock price at $0.71, the 2007 forward P.E. is only 4.4. Even if you give them a conservative P.E. of 15, a $2.40 stock price I believe is reasonable.
If gold prices continue higher, then an even higher price would be reasonable in my opinion.
GLE EPS estimates raised to $0.16 for 2007. Forward P.E. of 4 with a 100% growth rate.

SSKILLZ1 : ON CAMT, Thanks! Whatever you did, it's working.
CAMT is one of my top 3 holdings!!!
Yes, It was a great day today!!!!!
ZVXI my top holding did great too!!!
NGA
SIMC
Not bragging, It's just real nice to have days like today!!!!
10 Bagger: Do you have any stocks that have a realistic chance of going up 1000%?
The best I have is GLE which I believe has a very realistic chance of a 300 - 400% price gain potential.
As for 100% gains, I think these have good chances:
CAMT
LTXX
SMSI
NITE
EZM
MERX
ZVXI
LPA
IDD582 TGE: I think TGE is one of the most undervalued stocks out there. They have great, steady growth in both sales and net income. With the price of oil being as high as it is, I certainly feel that big oil companies should spend more of their huge profits developing reserves in North America and rely less on the middle east. I have a price target of $15.00 as a very conservative goal.
MERX : Looks like the market is starting to notice.
2morrowsGains MERX:
Thanks for the info.
GLE & EZM : Gold surging on Fed Statement.
Higher gold prices helps GLE & EZM.

MERX blew away earnings estimates and guided much higher next quarter.
http://news.moneycentral.msn.com/ticker/article.asp?Feed=AP&Date=20060629&ID=5833415&Sym...
Not bad, so what are earnings expected to be?
10% net margin?
That would be .6 Million
.6 / 16.541 = $0.0363 per year
Current P.E. (based on these estimates) would be .60/.0363
= 16.5.
So, are we to assume VLXC is fairly valued now?
Of course, all of this assumes Matin is telling the truth.
bbotcs GV: Yes, I still have a modest stake in it. It's sales growth 70% YoY and 35% Sequentially, as well as eps of .04 vs .01 keep me interested.
Lentinman MERX Sorry, your right, They report Wednesday after the close.
EPS Est. is 0.14 according to the New York Times:
http://marketwatch.nytimes.com/custom/nyt-com/html-earningestimate.asp?symb=merx&x=12&y=5
MERX reports eps after the close. EPS estimated at $0.14 vs (0.09). Sales growth was 81% Y O Y (03/31/06 qtr.). P/S is 0.70.
Just an idea for a possible EPS news jump, but I don't know for sure.
GL!!
LPA is exhibiting it's cool roof products in Las Vegas on Monday & Tuesday this week. California now requires "cool roofs" on commercial properties to help lower electricity costs and it helps the environment as well. Sales increased to over 6 Million vs 3.6 Million (in the last comparable quarter).
For the 06/30/06 quarter sales are projected at 7.5 to 7.9 million. Net income projected at $0.08 for 2006, or a forward P.E. of 7.5. La Polla will be in booth 716 at this convention.

A crook is soon jailed. Yeah, I guess you were right. Nice board. I wish you never put up this POS with this POS stock.
You must be one hell of an investor. Man, you are so smart.
Go back and short this stock for your homey Matin. Make sure you short some for yourself too!!
I'm successful in other stocks.
Facts are that Matin has lied many, many times and has grosly overstated any and ALL acquisitions that he has made. When he acquired Veltex-Explorer, he said there were 80 employees in the promotional products division alone. Trouble is, the entire Explorer Headgear had only 30 employees. So perhaps there were 8. Typicall, he seems to always place an extra decimal on everything. His purpose is to trick investors to buy his stock at artificially inflated prices so he can bank hard cash.
If a person steals from a bank or a store they go to jail. But if they steal from investors, that's O.K.? No, he should go to jail too and for a long time as he has stole millions from many honest people. VLXC, just like Enron, has hurt honest investors.
NGA doing well today. It took some waiting, but I think it's a good value play.
ZVXI I'm pounding the table for this one. Its earnings should be in the 0.30 - 0.34 range even with the 3 for 2 split. PEG less than 0.50.
CAMT PEG less than 0.30, I keep adding. I think payday will come soon.
SIMC I think once I.B.D. starts hyping, It will breakout to new highs.
Just my opinion. GL to all !!!
Matin selects Hapslap as Veltex new P.R. consultant.
Matin was quite impressed with Hapslap's news release and the price increase that followed. Hapslap replaces Finn Walstad.
Matin is raising guidance based on the savings allowed as Hapslap apparently is free vs Walstad's quarterly fee.
Matin looks forward to more free news releases as these have shown promise with the investment community.
LTXX Earning estimates raised:
http://marketwatch.nytimes.com/custom/nyt-com/html-earningestimate.asp?symb=ltxx&x=9&y=8
Gilead on PRZ:
I agree with you. I jumped the gun and bought fast on the news of EPS of $0.17. Then, I went back and read more and didn't like it much. My second post did try to explain that I thought it was "slightly undervalued", but not like a true eps $0.17 would be.
Maybe Jaybird knows more that me. My bad, I should have done more DD.
Mike, I think I've learned alot from I.B.D., but I have some "issues" with them.
1) Why do they say buy stocks that are $15.00 and over?
I would have missed out on a ton of gains if I followed this rule.
2) Why do they have you wait for a new high (or close to it) before buying?
To me, they make it MORE risky by buying stocks that are extended. I'd rather buy at the 50Day average then wait for a breakout.
3) Why don't they point out the benefits of LOW P/E/G ratios?
It's like they don't care that the forward P.E. is 100 or more on some stocks, they promote it anyway to the detriment of some individuals.
I get I.B.D. everyday, but the only thing I look at are the "Best Ups" EPS section. That's were I find the fastest growing stocks (sales AND earnings), I estimate a PEG ratio and go from there.
Just my opinion. I could be wrong!
PRZ, after looking more closely, it looks like most of the eps came from a Derivative benefit (expense) 10,400,000. Still eps would be 0.02 even without this. Given the growth rate, etc. I still think it's undervalued, but perhaps by 20%. Not as much as I originally thought.
GL!
Jay PRZ looks very undervalued. I just bought some. Thanks for sharing.
GL!!
