I love this company’s potential but I hate how they go radio silent for months at a time. EV has never been more in the news, and thus lithium is relevant as ever. Would LOVE for them to step up their PR and get more new investors excited and/or aware of the company.
Anyone else besides me still long, strong and expecting big things soon going into 2021?
*fellow longs
Hopefully you mean $200 worth, and not 200 shares which would’ve cost roughly $2.5 haha
Or do you mean 200k shares?
Either way, good luck to all my fellow Kong’s. ENRT about to POP this month!
Did anyone else notice that yesterday after hours the price was up 70% at .017? Is that legit? Was it a T Trade, or a huge buy after they released their financials? In any case I hope it’s for real- would be a great sign of things to come next week!
FINALLY GOT SOME NEWS. I LIKE IT.
KELOWNA, BC / ACCESSWIRE / August 13, 2018 / Enertopia Corporation (OTCQB: ENRT) on the OTCQB and (CSE: TOP) on the CSE (the "Company" or "Enertopia") is pleased to announce the start of the second phase of bench-scale test work on lithium bearing clays from Clayton Valley, NV. The first phase has established that a synthetic brine high in lithium and low in magnesium can be produced by leaching at an elevated pH.
The testing and sampling program has been designed by Dr. John Thomas, B.Sc, M.Sc, Ph.D. chemical engineering will consist of multi-phase program that will comprise solution testing through various ion exchange resins, reverse osmosis membranes that are standard in the industry to refine, concentrate and polish our lithium brines for conversion to Lithium carbonate or hydroxide. The first phase baseline has been completed and the brine testing results are below.
The synthetic lithium brine samples were created using distilled water at room temperature and adding either CaOH or NaOH at maintained pH levels of 9, 10 and 11 for 2 hours. The ratio of 100g source material and 300ml distilled water at 20 degrees Celsius were used for this phase one testing program. It should be noted that the quantity of lime or sodium hydroxide used was small.
Takeaway's from first phase of testing:
Testing has shown that an alkaline leach of Clayton Valley source rock produces synthetic brines with much lower impurities than synthetic brines produced by acid leach of the same rock.
Testing also showed that we can produce a lithium brine solution at a far lower cost by using either a CaOH or NaOH caustic solution versus H2SO4.
Note sample TOP 3 was created using 130g source rock and 300 ml solution.*
The next phase of testing will consist of evaluating the process design for producing various lithium salts using Ion Exchange media.
Dr. John Thomas, Technical Advisor of Enertopia Corporation, stated: "Technical work using the synthetic Lithium's brine samples from Clayton Valley, NV is progressing well. The test work creating a Lithium brine with industry-leading low impurities is a big milestone toward developing the potential production of lithium salts and concentrate. We are looking forward to ongoing positive results of this work as we move forward.
NEXT STEPS:
The Company continues to work aggressively to unlock the value of the lithium-bearing rock at and near the surface at the Clayton Valley lithium project. The lithium-bearing rock is contained in an uplifted block of sediments along the eastern flank of Clayton Valley, NV. Recently Cypress Development released a 43-101 indicating that they had outlined a large multi-million tonne Li2CO3 resource in similar sediments adjacent to our western project boundary. We believe this is a strong indication that there is resource potential on our project as well. The Company is reviewing several submitted 3rd party drilling quotes. The Company intends to conduct its first drill program prior to yearend and establish a near surface resource to be used for future pilot plant resource material.
"Enertopia looks forward to providing testing updates as each testing phase is completed and the next phase is undertaken. In parallel with the brine testing process, the Company will provide drilling program updates and our ongoing project work at our 100% owned Clayton Valley, NV, Lithium project, as well as continuing due diligence in the technology and mineral sectors. Modern technology is revolutionizing ways to mine and protect our environment," stated President and CEO Robert McAllister
QA/QC of the synthetic brine assays was carried out by ALS Geochemistry of Vancouver, BC. Head grade rock analysis was completed using ME-ICP61, with synthetic brine analysis completed by using ME-MS14b, ME-ICP14, ME-ICP15.
The Qualified person:
The technical data in this news release have been reviewed by Douglas Wood, P.Geol a qualified person under the terms of NI 43-101.

I thought everyone would like to know that I emailed ENRT's CEO, Robert McAllister, and he confirmed that once the 30-day termination period with GWT is over, the company will be able to announce their next steps.
DISAPPOINTING RESULTS
3RD PARTY TESTING RESULTS, ENERTOPIA ON THE RIGHT PATH TO SUCCESS
Enertopia Corp. has provided a lithium brine testing update for the recovery of battery-grade lithium compounds by its technology partner, Genesis Water Technologies Inc., a leader in specialized water treatment solutions.
The finished Li2CO3 (lithium carbonate) product samples were analyzed via ICP (inductively coupled plasma) methods by independent third party labs to test whether or not they met required battery-grade purity levels (99.5 per cent) by testing for impurities below the maximum allowed limits by weight. All third party lab testing results have been received and battery-grade purity was not achieved by using Genesis Water Technologies' single pass process system for recovery of lithium into Li2CO3.
Next steps
After reviewing the independent third party technical data from the completed second phase bench test, the board of directors decided that it was in the best interest of Enertopia to provide Genesis Water Technologies with a formal 30-day notice of termination with respect to the licensing agreement. Such notice has been given today.
Dr. John Thomas, the company's technical adviser, will now take the lead in continuing design and testing in the creation of synthetic brine from enriched lithium claystones on the companies Clayton Valley project and the subsequent conversion to battery-grade Li2CO3 and/or LiOH (lithium hydroxide).
Taking back control of the design process will allow the company to accelerate the testing cycle at a reduced cost. Any proprietary design or process that might be patentable going forward would belong 100 per cent to Enertopia.
The company is very encouraged by the material project developments by Cypress Development and Noram Ventures adjacent to the company's project. The company is further encouraged by its advances, and those of other companies as well, in the recovery of lithium from various depositional environments and its conversion to battery-grade carbonate and/or hydroxide materials.
"Enertopia looks forward to providing ongoing updates of our technical and project work at our 100-per-cent-owned Clayton Valley, Nev., lithium project. Modern technology is revolutionizing ways to mine and protect our environment. Over the past two years, I have increased my share position in the company by 1.98 million shares and now hold 5.39 million shares. I look forward to increasing my share ownership, as I am confident we are on the right path to success," stated Robert McAllister, president and chief executive officer.
There's usually a run-up towards the end of the month as people anticipate news or a press release at the beginning of the next month. Hopefully next week brings some big announcements!
You're such a loser troll, Yogi. The stock is up almost 100% in the last week. Get bent.
If you're so uninformed about the stock that earlier today you had to ask whether or not they're still involved in marijuana, I don't really take your opinion seriously.
FOR THE LAST TIME, THIS IS NO LONGER A WEED COMPANY. THEY ARE A LITHIUM COMPANY.
Wait - is that good or bad for ENRT? Good because it means they're on land that seems to have lithium, or bad because competition is moving in?
I wrote Robert McAllister on Friday. Below you can see his response on top of my original email.
Will do. Working as fast as possible. Some stuff just taking a little longer than expected.
As mentioned in previous press releases until all paperwork and data processing is completed we are quiet until everything is completed.
Cheers,
Robert

Mr. McAllister,
I hope this message finds you well, and that there are wonderful things in Enertopia's future. I, and the rest of the investors would greatly appreciate an update with regards to the lithium project. Even if there's no official news, an update on progress would be very helpful as it's been months since we heard anything, and the lithium page on the company's website simply says "under construction" (which, by the way, does not help to calm fears of nervous investors starting to doubt the project and/or stock). Please consider reaching out with news or updates of any kind in the near future, as many of us are growing impatient with the implied lack of progress, and even worse, the lack of communication.
Best,
Noah G
Great email, please let us know if he responds. I emailed him in June with a similar message and he responded the next day telling me news would be out soon. Then I emailed him in July to follow up on the lack of news and he didn't respond at all. I too, love this company's potential, but am also growing concerned with each week that passes containing no news or updates.
It would be great IF they ever get the method perfected.
That's fantastic news assuming ENRT finally makes a deal for new land acquisition.
The market is at all time highs... I have faith in the company, but I'd really love an update from McAllister soon.
Meant to say, I hope you're right.
I hope you're wrong, I'm long as well. Was just wondering how and why you seem so confident. If there's an actual reason I'd love for you to share with us!
What's the basis for your claim?
Yea I appreciated that he responded at all, and very quickly, though I do wish his response wasn't so vague.
I emailed McAllister yesterday, below is our email exchange:
Hello Mr. McAllister,
I am an investor in Enertopia, and I'm growing concerned over the lack of progress and updates regarding new lithium developments. Ever since the relatively disappointing news about leaving the Nevada properties, we haven't heard a word about how the South America exploration trips went, or how the lithium investors conference went, and as a result, I feel like many shareholders or potential shareholders are beginning to lose confidence in Enertopia's ability to produce battery grade lithium in the future. Can you please provide me with an update, and possibly encourage someone from your PR team to be a bit more communicative before more people jump ship?
HIS REPLY
Hi Noah,
We will have an update out shortly, thank-you for your
email and questions.
Sincerely
Robert McAllister
Has anyone reached out to McCallister or the company to see when we can expect some updates about their trip to South America and/or the lithium investors conference? I think people are getting restless and starting to jump ship in a new wave of selloffs.
People are reacting negatively because most of the appeal of the Nevada properties is that they were close to Tesla. Also, selling those properties basically confirms that it's not as simple as tweaking the testing methods, the quality of the actual lithium there is not good enough to achieve battery grade. I hope to God those South American properties turn out to be good, but for now, quitting on nevada is NOT good news, it's terrible news, hence the slaughterfest.
Should we be happy that they're getting more financing, or upset that they're slightly diluting shares to do so? People are obviously shorting the hell out of this stock recently, hoping more upcoming news will create a major short squeeze in the near future... GL to all!
I think there will be an afternoon short squeeze.
That's not a good thing, unfortunately. People are loading up on the sell. We need some more news to get this moving up again.
ENRT presents at the conference at 2 pm EST. If we start seeing buyers in the closing hour today I think that would be a good sign of a positive presentation!
Just call the company. The CEO's phone # is listed on their website and I've gotten a hold of him literally every time I've called during normal business hours.
I'm glad to see the nice gains, but ENRT isn't an MJ stock. They no longer have any skin in that game, I think this is all related to V-Love developments.
We need to call Robert McCallister and make him aware of the investors' need for updates, and financial info on V-Love sales! I've called him twice and first he said they'd be out Aug. 31, then Sept. 8. If they're not out by the end of this week, something is very wrong.
I just called Robert McAllister to ask when we could expect a report on sales figures and he said when they do their quarterly on August 31. When I asked how V-Love was doing since being available on Amazon and in all the Canada retail locations, he said, "ehh, it's selling. We're certainly not the only product on the shelves, but it's selling." It did not sound very convincing.
Any update on when we'll know some sales figures?
I'm very excited to see the recent developments with V-Love, and the gains it's caused. I'm a bit confused as to how Canada's medical marijuana ruling benefits ENRT though, now that they have no active projects or investments in the marijuana industry. Thoughts?
Thank you for that meaningless history lesson that does nothing to provide investor confidence in this POS company and stock.
It's been obvious for almost a year that this stock is a piece of shit, but now based on the company's lack of updates, and inability to get a license or sell any lube, I'm worried that the company is a piece of shit too. Very discouraged, and looking for a reason to stay long.
I don't have evidence to the contrary, nor do I hope there is any. I'm long on this stock and hoping for great things to happen, but unlike most people on this board, I'm also objective; Objectively speaking, this stock has been a disappointment, as has their business venture into medicinal marijuana.
That update is from December 9, 2014. Do you have any more recent evidence?
I am incredibly disappointed in this company and this stock, and to be clear, I am a bullish shareholder with a lot of money invested. We've been waiting for announcements about Health Canada since the end of February, and so far all they've announced is the POSSIBILITY of selling a women's lube in the future. This is bullshit.
