I’m sorry but posts like these bug me.
It is simple.
If there were 11 sells, there HAD to be 11 buys as well.
You can not sell anything, anytime without a buyer.
Simply impossible.
You are correct about the hearing being what is important now.
I can only wait and see what happens.
Holding on as well.
Public information provided by the SEC states that they did not respond.
The links have been posted here multiple times.
If BLTA was on the verge of good news, why did they not respond to TWO letters from the SEC?
I don’t understand.
Now there is a blatant, probable lie, right on the home page of their web site.
It states they are working with the SEC when in fact they are not.
It can be proven by public SEC documents that they haven’t even responded to at least two letters sent to them by the SEC.
I don’t see how they could possibly have anything up their sleeve.
If they had anything at all going for them, they would attempt to rectify this situation.
I am saddened by this and very disappointed but it is what it is.
Lesson learned.
I shall take my loss and move on.
The only acceptable move by the company is to file the financials immediately.
If that happens within the 10 day period, can normal trading resume?
Working capital has nothing to do with the stock price.
Incorrect.
Any shares being purchased to cost average down or any other reason are being sold by the general public. (The market) And are coming from and going to the current float, not adding to it or diluting in any way.
The company gets no income from any market buys or sells. (Trades)
Now knowing this, maybe you can see things more correctly.
Thank you for this information.
You mentioned 6 hours.
What is your opinion on how long it will take for them to complete and file with SEC?
I know this.
But the bid/ask from the market makers are always there.
It was different today so I thought I would point it out.
I never said anything about pre-market or after market trading.
Update:
TD Ameritrade is showing the bid/ask normally now.
I don’t know why it wasn’t earlier.
This is interesting.
I checked on TD Ameritrade and the past news stuff is still there.
I did notice however that there is no bid or ask on level 2.
I check this every morning and it always shows any GTC Limit orders that haven’t filled and a bunch of bid and ask orders at different levels from the various market makers.
This indicates to me that trading is halted on BLTA.
The most likely reason for a trading halt such as this is a halt for pending news.
Again, most likely that the Songbird deal has closed.
Other reasons could also be a ticker change or reverse split. — I see this as unlikely because I doubt the SEC would allow either of these without all SEC filings being current.
Feels like the day of the last mini evac.
Any silence tomorrow will be deafening.
You appeared confused about the information your smartphone was showing as the 52 week high and low of BLTA.
Trying to be helpful, I gave you the correct information.
Others advised that the source of your information may be the issue and to only rely on information from an actual broker.
I don't know what you mean by "in the crapper".
Today's close of $0.0057 is an incredible gain from the 52 week low.
The correct 52 week high is $0.01
The correct 52 week low is $0.0003
.005!
Yay!
Volume up a bit too!
Um, whatever the amount of shares, the same amount was bought as was sold.
That link doesn't open.
The same thing applies per my earlier post.
If for whatever reason the news or progress doesn't sustain and the price drops 50%, in both cases, Reverse Split or not, your stock price will be cut in half.
It is the same distance to zero, only on a different scale.
The move back up would be the same as well. (Same distance, different scale)
Always the same end result dollar wise though.
Some folks here do not understand the Reverse Split Completely.
I will try to explain it as best I can.
Lets say you have 1,000,000 (1 Million) shares.
Lets say the current price is $0.0085.
Your investment is worth $8,500. (1,000,000 X .0085)
Lets say the Reverse Split is 1:25.
You will now have 40,000 shares.
These shares will be worth $0.2125. (just over 21¢)
Your investment is worth $8,500. (40,000 X .2125)
-->>Same as before the Reverse Split.<--
Lets say there is some good news shared at the Stockholders Meeting this Thursday.
Lets say that the Market (this is all of us shareholders) decide that this news adds 15% to the value of the company.
If no Reverse Split your share value will go up 15%.
$0.0085 + 15% = $0.009775
Your 1,000,000 (1 Million) shares would now be worth $9775.
(1,000,000 X .009775)
$9775 is 15% more than your original $8,500
If there IS a 1:25 Reverse Split your share value will still go up 15%.
$0.2125 + 15% = $0.244375
Your 40,000 shares would now be worth $9775. (40,000 X .244375)
$9775 is 15% more than your original $8,500
-->>Same as before the Reverse Split.<--
As you can see, in either case you have the same amount money as the value of the company goes up.
I hope this helps anyone who is not sure or does not understand how this works.
My mistake on how I formatted the split.
I do believe you know what I mean though.
Your are incorrect.
If your shares to a 25:1 split, your amount of shares will go down by that factor.
What you don't seem to understand is that the value of those same shares will by MULTIPLIED by 25!
SAME amount of MONEY!
If the stock splits, you have the same amount of money.
If it goes up 10%, you would gain the same amount of money, split or no split.
Pretty simple.
It seems to me that holding the SHM as soon as possible would take care of that.
Great post!
When I first asked if anyone remembered how long it was between when the security tape was put on and the last mini, I was trying to get a feel for how long it would be until something happens.
I was thinking either mini #8 or more likely a one-door slide deployment.
I have since been made aware that putting on security tape could also mean that the plane is in a ready state and could save time on pre-flight stuff if it is not broken when they go to fly it.
In any case, I looked back and found that LT first mentioned the security tape being put on by the FAA on Friday, June 24th. On Tuesday, the 28th, the mini took place.
That is four days from I learned about the security tape and something happening.
What is unknown is how long the tape was on before LT reported it and if it was the FAA or Baltia that put it on this time.
Do you or anyone remember how long it was from the taping of the doors to the last mini evacuation demonstration?
I woke up on July 29th looking for the same news as I am today.
Beyond ridiculous.
So we are waiting on the FAA to pass Baltia on a not perfect mini evacuation demonstration.
The appeal to FAA Washington is based on the idea that what went wrong is out of Baltia's control.
First question: Did Baltia and the FAA discuss the possibility of passing on a not perfect demonstration if the reason(s) could be proven to be out of Baltia's control BEFORE the last attempt?
I ask this because of the extra measures used this time such as the security tape on the doors.
Second question: Is Baltia currently contacting the FAA on a regular basis to find out the status, or are they just waiting for the result?
It seems to me that regular contact asking for the status, AND inquiring what is a reasonable timeframe for the end result is would be a top priority.
No one except Baltia can do this, I am just curious if anyone knows if this is being done and if so, it would be nice to know the FAA's answer to what is a reasonable timeframe on this issue.
Done.
Thank you!
The problem is:
We WILL hear if it was a PASS.
We will NOT hear anything if it is not a pass.
How do we decide when to assume not a pass?
Mr. Lieutenant,
Thank you very much for this and all of the information that you provide to the folks here.
I am very hopeful that you are correct and a PASS will be coming soon from the FAA.
I am concerned about what happens if they do not allow a pass. After past attempts, there was no news for a bit, followed by a reason for not passing.
Then no news for a LONG time until rumors of the next attempt being scheduled.
Is there a way we could find out in a timely manner if a pass will not be issued?
And if so, what is the new plan moving forward from there?
Thank you again for your efforts, insight and sharing of information.

I saw the plane on Tursday.
It is fully intact.
I was at Willow Run a little after 9:00 PM tonight.
I saw the plane.
No activity.
No Mini Evac tonight.
I would be happy to post the picture but I can not figure out how.
If you can help, I will try.
Finally there is something that I am 100% sure of.
The plane IS at Willow Run and it has roll-up stairs at the front door.
Nothing else.
No other activity.
I have a photo.
Taken today at 1:45 PM EDT.
It looks like I won't make it tonight.
Maybe I'll do a day trip soon just to see the plane.
Please keep me posted on any observations.
Thanks!
