To investors, management is either awful or excellent. To me, they've made the right moves. They are much closer to "Power the next cloud" than ever before.
Stockpro,,I hope you're right and the next 6 months IMO will tell it all..
Here's what bothers me,,PT,stated on the last CC that the 10--20 mil contracts they thought were sizable are now gonna be considered small..So having said that, then we should expect some 50--60 mil contracts very soon....REALLY..Where are they..It's been 7 weeks since that CC and nothing to report,,and you only make that statement if you feel they're imminent....Again,Hope i'm wrong...
One last thing,,If these 10-20 mil contracts(over 3 years mind you) were considered sizable 9--12 months ago then how the hell were they going to attain a run rate of 160 mil ...The numbers don't add up unless they had 20--30 contracts lined up....
Either they were flat out Lying or a lot of these so called companies they thought they had in the bag fell by the wayside.....I don't want to believe either one, but think the latter is more likely...
I couldn't disagree more...That's NO EXCUSE....Maybe so in the past month or 2, but over the course of this past year and beyond,IMO,ANY actually went against the flow of the market.....,If the market tanks this year and ANY is hitting on all cylinders,Investors will seek out those diamonds in the rough.....IS ANY a DIAMOND or a CUBIC ZIRCONIA.....?...Time will tell.....GLTA....

I haven't posted in quite sometime but must ask Jermys, after ardently bashing Any and it recent financial raise as to WHY you'd purchase 10k shares at all,, AND before the news , after you gave us a sermon on how this stock will lose 60--80% of its value in the next 3--6 months...This makes NO SENSE to me AT ALL.....Your months of DD told you to stay as far away from ANY like it had the plague.....Something tells me you've been posting on this board for quite sometime under another name,after all you mentioned the name Keubiko ,only you abbrev it in one of your post ....

So let me get the numbers straight here....400 sites at 5---20 million according to you...thats an average of 12.5k to 50k per site on average.(.from Little dinky rehabs to I'm sure quite a few monster hospitals) and ANY will take away a mere 200k which is approx 5k per site on the high end......Those are pennies...I think you're out of your mind......IMHO
I'll take your word for it MAC,,,If there strength is problem solving then leave them doing just that.... Moving forward,i certainly hope this so-called management team they've coordinated to increase shareholder value would run the next CC....
Lets put it this way,,,He purchased these shares a few weeks prior to earnings report...EK knows exactly ANYs earnings are gonna come up well short of analysts expectations and going to get pounded like a punching bag ,so he thinks its an opportune time to purchase 1 mil shares at 5+ .....If that's the case then i don't want him running this Company.....
SE...I love your post,the articles you provide and your enthusiasm ,but there is simply NO WAY EK paid 5+ for his shares.....IMO,If he paid market value then he would've said so when confronted with that question.....It would certainly make me feel a bit more comfortable if he had paid anywhere close to 5.....

Esad,,Danross is exactly correct...We're not going to see ANY significant increase in revs until the 4th Q or 1st Q of 016....Anyone expecting an increase of rev next week will be extremely disappointed ....I'm hoping investors will realize this and not result in a massive sell-off....S3D is transforming there entire company to making GW/snapcloud the face of the company...Why do something as foolish as that if GW is so called Vaporware.....I guess ANY just pulled the wool over one of the WORLDS biggest software companies...NOT.....

I sincerely doubt you are correct. This does not likely need to be sold as it is already sold. I was administratively responsible for many of these types of agreements in multiple hospital departments over a 35 year admin healthcare career. My longest association with any one department was with Radiology (my last 22 years) and its complex imaging agreements. The agreements we fashioned with imaging companies always included refresh clauses for software to the latest and greatest. At least one software refresh was in every agreement I was involved with. Keeps the vendor from springing new software on you soon after purchase. The cost was included in the original agreement so no selling to the hospital or clinic is needed. In other words, the transaction for the software will likely be between Novorad and Sphere and already has been determined. Novorad will pay Sphere as the refreshes occur.
I read this as a big endorsement of Glassware, with the multi-device solution physicians demand in this day and age. Also, in our agreements there were accession charges - for each and every image accessed through the system, so it is quite likely structured in this way which provides recurring revenue.
In the last agreement I was a party to there were also charges for storage - a flat fee for the first 2 million images and then decreasing cost/scan tiers beyond that. The word image is key - in CT and MRI scans there can be many images for one patient. For instance a routine brain scan (nothing special) can be about 60 images. And you keep them all as, once taken, there are legal ramifications and restrictions in getting rid of any as you might do with your digital camera.
Storage will be interesting as to how it plays out. The trend favors the integrated solution Sphere offers but it may not be built in to a refresh like software commonly is. My last agreement handled this as a separate negotiated issue in the contract. Still, the integrated solution will be attractive and, in my experience, facilities will likely want it. It was alluded to in the CC. Even if a facility does not start with the whole package they may well end up there as the inexorable need for good storage solutions, preferably fully integrated, becomes pressing.
It is a huge oversight, and actually naive to not see the import of this announcement. I worked in a large hospital but our bill for these services when I left 3 years ago was about $3.5 million a year. The refresh alone will be huge as I can't imagine the 400 facilities left refresh out of their agreements with Novorad. Just doesn't happen. The tab to refresh 400 facilities is going to provide substantial cash upfront and on an on-going basis.
Also, Novorad benefits with the refresh as they gain new healthcare facilities with state of the art technology their competitors cannot offer. They will likely use their early refresh sites as demo sites. This will open the door for Sphere to obtain new Novorad sites. Novorad's competitors will take notice and may come knocking on Sphere's door too.
No doubt-the biggest announcement by Sphere yet and Peter noted that in the CC. He said to his knowledge he had never seen a contract of this scope in the virtualization space or something to that effect. Just huge.
