You were the second person to recommend that other stock in a 2 day period...honestly, I have not looked closely at it...no cash for now.
I've been hoping short covering alone would get SCMI to .19.
Fundamentals should get it there soon enough otherwise.
EAG ran mostly on Satmax expectations which have not been met.....EAG could still run on coming Satmax news...but when? And they have way more shares out now.
Good luck with SCMI.
I originally loaded up on SCMI to try and dig out of my EAG hole...I held on the way down and lost my gains and now have a paper loss....but, the more I learn, the more I see SCMI as a long term super star stock pick.
The johnboy on yahoo had good timing with EAG....I think he bailed with a nice gain.
I had intended to sell half my shares as they doubled from various buy points...but as news unfolds, that may change....why sell too low?
gap, millionaire has a nice ring to it. Johnboy, were you in EAG before the big rise back in '03? Somebody used to post with that id on the yahoo zoo.
I agree to stay here fwiw.
Welcome back to .07.
Up on low volume is nice to see, only because it normally goes up on higher volume and they drop it on lower volume.
Based on news out recently and what I expect to come out soon, I expect to see some short covering rally any time.
Hope so.
Is it next week yet??
I'm not sure why my friend got the email and not me.....and I'm not sure if SCMI puts out a press release like this today....good chance they do I guess. On Yahoo, when looking up SCMI headlines...last I checked, the BMG news was not there yet....
Maybe Shazam will change that?? It would be nice to see that news where so many retail traders look for it....
btw, that was the content of an email from Shazam stocks...a friend received it Sunday at 10:30am and forwarded to me this evening.
LOL, another poster suggested SCMI might be worth more per share than EAG soon. Wouldn't that take the sting out of my EAG pain??? I don't think he will post that on the EAG board though. :~) The EAG BB4 board has become a shell of its former self...kind of sad how angry they are...the best thing about EAG being down is seeing bryant suffer with losses.
I think "lady" luck will be smiling on you greensmachine. Enjoy it if so....don't be to quick to take profits IMO.
It sounds like Apple may be much bigger for SCMI than just iPod compatibility. I hope so....I'm bullish and SCMI might even exceed my near term expectations.

Sony BMG Ramps Up CD Copy-Protection Plan
Click to Read Story!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The entertainment industry has lost billions of dollars to unauthorized reproduction and distribution of their products. Amazingly, the culprit is typically the girl or boy next door, your neighbor or even your spouse! They don’t have CD duplicators or electronic distribution networks. They simply make 2 CD copies for friends using their PC who then each make 2 copies and so on… This casual illegal copying expands exponentially with no limits and presents the real piracy problem!
SunnComm has the proven solution to digital piracy - MediaMax!
SunnComm International is the undisputed leader in digital content security and enhancement in the United States. No other copy management and enhancement product has been so widely accepted by both the record industry and CD buyers. MediaMax was designed in direct response to input from the largest record companies in the world with the goal to achieve an important balance between copyright protection and an optimized consumer experience.
SunnComm has consistently been first-to-market!
SunnComm currently has international licensing agreements in place with three of the four major record labels including Sony BMG and EMI. The company also has formal agreements with many independent record labels including KOCH Records, which is the largest “Indie” record label in the U.S. and sometimes referred to as the fifth major label.
SunnComm has been first to market with solutions that work technically as well as from a business standpoint. The MediaMax suite of products has been embraced by these entertainment organizations because they have clearly proven that commercial CDs containing the technology have a substantially smaller sales drop off in the first critical weeks of an album’s release resulting in hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional sales on a major label release! The record labels have discovered first-hand that consumer acceptance and sales of CDs containing SunnComm’s technology are not impacted by copy management, even when the packages are clearly labeled as protected and enhanced by MediaMax. A recent example is Velvet Revolver’s “Contraband” album, which reached the #1 spot on Billboard's Top 200 Album Chart the first week it was released. “Contraband” went on to become a Platinum album in addition to earning the honor of the first copy protected CD to reach #1 on Billboard’s Charts.
SunnComm receive royalties for every CD produced with MediaMax!
These results bode extremely well for SunnComm because they receive royalties for every CD that is produced with the ever-evolving MediaMax technology. The entertainment industry has been searching for a consumer-friendly solution to the piracy problem for a long time. MediaMax has become the one solution that record labels, artists and millions of consumers across the board are embracing and SunnComm has proven it repeatedly!
Hardware and software technology available today has made it far easier for the average person to make copies of CDs on their own personal computers. One out of every three music CDs purchased last year were pirated products, according to the IFPI (http://www.ifpi.org/site-content/library/piracy2004.pdf). A huge number considering that there were well over 2.4 billion audio CDs sold worldwide in 2003 representing $32 billion in revenue. Huge song-swapping services, which trade in pirated music such as KaZaa, have reported as many as 218 million users. SunnComm and its record label customers have proven that the use of MediaMax helps control illegal copying of recorded CD music without getting in the way of the consumer’s listening experience.
No competitors are even close in the U.S. – the most lucrative market!
MediaMax has been used by over 25 record labels on more than 75 commercial releases generating over 10,000,000 copy managed CDs so far! SunnComm maintains the flexibility to continue to develop and refine digital security solutions within a continuously evolving industry and to benefit from the close strategic partnerships with the major record labels that have been developed over the past five years. These pioneering accomplishments have been achieved with a fraction of the investment capital consumed by SunnComm’s closest competitors.

test eom.
I hope all the regulars stay here for now....at least until we have a new ticker for MediaMax. It just keeps things simple for all....including newbies who may want to read the messages for SCMI, current ones and older ones.
Its great that there is another board for MediaMax...but with the QTIG board, we already have two. Personally I only read this one and another private board that has one for SCMI too.
I couldn't agree more. Now if the rest of the aggressive investors could just put the puzzle together!!
I think you are right on...and if things work out I may meet you at the shareholder's meeting.
The post of mine that triggered such animosity between us is proving to be right on target.
Cheers.
Randy
I agree with all that. Now let the shareprice run to .19 so I can justify time away from the family to go to the shareholder's meeting.
Open house. iPod. iPod??????
Did anything come out on iPod code.....compatibility? Kiosks?
Interesting thoughts.....
Isn't anyone going to give us a report on the open house today?? Did they all go out for happy hour?
I agree. Everything I see points to MediaMax being on the otcbb by July....after QTIG and SCMI merge together in an equitable fashion.
Timing looks perfect too....in that big news and big revenue will keep coming while this process works thru the hoops.
Absolutely. The huge breakouts on no news are the best ones. Most likely SCMI will just catch on fire when we don't expect it...I think it is extraordinarily undervalued relative to where the company is and where the market cap is.....based on where it's been in the past.
Look at ERHE today.....
I sold mine too low today for a nice profit on yesterday's buy, but have done really decent with that one.
The stock has rallied a few hundred percent several times on the pinks before. This is just odd.
I understand all that....but revenue growth and projected earnings should cut thru that, at least with the aggressive growth oriented retail investors.
I can't wait to get off the pinks!!
Unreal how nobody is paying attention to this. SCMI and QTIG are ramping up with exponential revenue growth in a very high margin business....and the stock market is not noticing.
I think most investors are brain dead sheep. LOL.
Good luck today....the market will figure this out someday soon...maybe NEXT WEEK. :~)
I hope to see some comments from those who can make the open house. TIA.
At the open house, look for any Apple clues. iPod iPod iPod.
If we get iPod compatibility, Sony's brand x is burnt toast and Universal Music Group will be following BMG's lead....just felt like stating the obvious.
Shorts may have a few days to cover below .10. I hope there are a LOT of them. Since pinks were yanked off the SHO list, we have not had much trading volume...insignificant really.....
Mario. This is about the best day yet since I've held SCMI, in terms of confirmation of what I believed I was getting when I loaded up on the stock.
Macrowho??
Who's going to the open house tomorrow? Let us know if you smell fresh baked treats.
Have fun.
As usual, GREAT stuff GAP, YOU ROCK! :~)
Now, when will the market figure this out....this time I hope we see some real short covering. SCMI needs a 10 million ++ share day to get things started.
Didn't Sony just rename the MediaMax software to save face?
LOL, let the rat fart. I'm more than ready....what a great day its been for us....things we thought we knew are being confirmed "fast". Next week is our week. :~)
Macro who???????? LOL.
Wow....excellent find. Thanks.
Exactly. Like SCMI said, its over 10 million SCMI to zero for MVSN.
Excellent. Thanks. Watershed year for copy management of CD's and DVD's.
Finally it hit the Ameritrade streamer. No real interest in either stock though. What a bummer.
I wonder how progress is with Apple iPod coding?????
That's right...non reporting companies were yanked off the SHO list. SCMI is not protected by that...YET.
Bummer, no real market reaction to the news yet....just more HOLDING. Beats a sharp stick in the eye...but boring.
Its one more victory for SCMI and one more loss for MVSN.
Gotta love that.
I'm pretty sure QTIG can vote to increase the authorized share limit without holding a real vote...like they did for the name change. With SCMI shares, I do not know if they have enough friends with large blocks of shares to control the vote without going thru the whole process...I doubt it.
I think the shares of QTIG owned by SCMI will either be paid as a simultaneous dividend when the companies merge, or the shares would be eliminated....lowering the share count and increasing the value of all shares. I think the dividends will be paid after the merge, otherwise it appears like a lopsided deal in favor of QTIG holders IMO.
