Sure hope so.
I agree but I think one of the problems is that buying is still way too low and not continuous enough. It gives mm the perfect chance to do whatever they want. I think they will have to trade between each other sometimes to provide the sufficient liquidity of the stock. I'm long but I just don't think the situation would change if there isn't a buying force.
Averaged down to .54. Let's see what happens.
Pumping finally restarted
I'm not always wrong just like you are not always right
I feel you. I still think there is certain overreaction - yes there was too much pumping them, but there is too much bashing now. I think it could bounce back just as how fast it went down. We shall wait.
Imo they would start with making or mixing or packaging liquid/ juice in the country of sales. For example, holo boasts that their liquid is "premium made in us". That could 1. Improve product perception. 2. Moving some finished goods inventory to row material or WIP, hence reducing total inventory cost. 3. Reduce supply lead time.
Maybe I am crazy but I feel a bit more confident about the company now than before the 10k. Main reason is that the problems are pretty much all on the table now for the public, at least from quantitative standpoint. Now I could confidently guess what type of leader Brent is and what difference Dan could make to the company. Dans initiatives make me feel he truly has fortune company mind and given time, he is going to steer it into the right direction.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see more frequent communication about progressive improvement. I think those plus the dilution and shorting will be the primary drivers of short term pps - the next 6 weeks.
I think 75 cents or 5 cents pre ps is still a magic number, meaning pps won't dwell below that for a long time. I think volatility will remain. I believe we have learnt a lot from the last 3 months and a new round of opportunities are ahead of us.
Good luck to us all.
He didn't buy any shares. The about 4 million "shares" were options, not accounted towards OS.
He has 10 years to exercise it. He could still choose not to exercise it though. It was given to him by ECIG as part of the compensation.
They are options. .04xx x 15 is the exercise price
Good point - an extremely low baseline is good for any new sherif in town.
I think most people were expecting a much higher q4 revenue. Possibly people were just hyped. I don't know how q4 was compared to other companies and i don't know how much seasonality there is in this thing.
I could understand much better from today's news release though Dan is trying to make the company leaner. This is the right thing to do absolutely. It's just when revenue grows crazily, usually ppl don't care about efficiency and productivity. Probably they have realized that growth won't be as fast as some investors think.
Reading their news release again. I think inventory turns, sku rationalization and ap/ ar terms will be the ones they are gonna see the quickest return. I wish they talk more about how to increase revenue.
The biggest disappointer is q4 revenue. I don't know. I think the worst has passed. I don't wanna take a loss yet. I believe there will be an better exit point in a coupe of weeks. We shall see.
I don't wanna sound like I have figured this out, but I like your conspiracy theory. I believe the company is holding 10k on purpose. The answer to who is accumulating and who is dumping will determine the short term fate of this stock. Can only guess at this point, but will find out soon enough.
They know 10k and they are not holding... That would be a problem.
Plausible theory. I also firmly believe the timing of was planned. And the interest of powerful/ painful note holders was the primary driver of the series of events.
One thing still puzzles me. Why were so many shares dumped Friday? Converting doesn't mean the converted shares must be sold in the market. Either the 10k is horrible and the holders wanted to be out now, or the convention price is still tied to market price somehow - and the 10k is great and they want convert to as many shares as possible.
The latter means some players intentionally sell as many as they can to drive pps down. But 7 million shares... That would certainly be a big cost of there is going to be a very good 10k very soon to drive pps up quickly.
Maybe I am missing something, but it feels like a bad 10k coming.
Appreciate others insight.
My Charles schwab account shows converted Ds Friday after hours. I was able to send in a sell order just now. Looks like ok to trade unless it gets cancelled by them tomorrow. Let's see.
Very well said. I'd like to add one more: in otc, the higher it jumps, the harder it may drop. Manage greed and curb enthusiasm.
I remember this from jan feb 8ks. Another poster did point that the new 8ks didn't come with the VWA clause. I'm trying to figure out why the post RS pps movement is occurring. Especially today's with record volume. Converting is the only explanation I find plausible so far. Would love to hear other opinions.
It is a good lesson for sure.
I read in the 8ks that conversion price can be adjusted to VWMA of x numbers of trading days. So if the price is lower, it is likely for holders to use a lower conversion price. Thus get more shared. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Well, the new mgmt was put there by senior note holders. I think it's reasonably to say they work for them. I believe whatever is going on is significantly beneficial to them. I think unless these holders walk away with cash, they will need the pps to go up some day to dump them for cash. So I believe that day will eventually come. It's just we smaller investors are played in the process.
There is nothing in otc as "interests are all aligned" I wish I realized that a few days earlier. I will probably wait for my exit and my chance to become a flipper as well. There is just no other way.
This is the post that makes the most sense in weeks.
I'm pretty frustrated as well. However I don't think retail will be able to or have the interest now to absorb all these shares though.
So why bought all these shares and why?
How about to allow note holders to convert at lower pps?
Anyone would agree mgmt is holding 10k on purpose?
Not 1/6, already close to 1/4.
Completely agree. From what we have seen in the last weeks, anyone who buys and holds this long term is either a fool or a saint.
Today is the highest volume day so far.
I don't think they wouldn't wait till Tuesday.
Not sure if today's price means a bad 10k.
True. Investing is never easy, especially for retail investors. Need to keep refining skills. OTC is brand new to me. I'm learning.
You got a key point right: volatility. I don't know how many people will keep holding through the waves. Playing it right, the waves will very possibly help a long possess more shares. I don't think long and flipping are 2 completely opposite things. I believe the industry will continue grow rapidly. And ecig is one of the major players in it. That's why I am in it. I just hate to see profit come and go. I could have well doubled my position if I played it right in the last a few weeks. Selling at every peak and buying at every bottom is impossible. However sitting out of every one of these huge waves is not the best strategy.
Volatility will remain I believe. It makes sense to be long and be strategic imo.
I am prepared for heavy selling right after 10k. I think it will happen no matter how bad or good 10k is.
One thing for sure: otc stock could jump as dramatically as it drops. I do feel like gambling at this very moment - as if I were playing black jack and already have a 8 showing. Could hit a 3 and a face next, but still could get a bitch 6 or 7.
Sure hope so but just speculation so far.
I don't think I lost interest in ecig. But need to play it in a smarter way.
