The power companies have to upgrade. This fact is not in issue. The question is where to get the money required? These guys will look first to government. Corporate welfare is the American way and Bush owes them bigtime payback anyway. The states are broke. This leaves the feds holding the $$$ bag. Enron is all but forgotten so I look forward to big government handouts to re-build the grid. But, to do it right and get political capital out of these handouts, Bush has to get Iraq out of the spotlight. Social security "reform" is the big federal budget buster for sure so I don't see how he can promote this program and add the energy bill costs to the budget all while he continues to incur the Iraq war expenses. Even republicans have government spending limits.

Thank you. Do you think impact strength is a critical issue in the use of composite poles? The poles market has unlimited potential throughout the world and Bush's mention of the power grid upgrade in his stateoftheuniuon speech would seem to bode well for anyone in this business. Also, in most states, power poles are required by law to be retrofitted to meet environmental standards and any upgrade in the grid will necessarily include pole replacement. Politics aside, my only concern is where Bush thinks we'll get the money to accomplish this very necessary albeit expensive domestic agenda. Iraq is draining us dry.

I am new to this board it is true. I came here at the suggestion of many(including you, I believe) on the Raging Bull board where I've been lurking and postingabout CPTC for over two years. I hadn't been warned about the initiation requirments for this board so I'll just return to RagingBull with my tail between my legs. But by the way Derx, is correct in that the Goldsworthy composite housing technology I mentioned, has been around a while, is not in any way competitive with CTC's product and if brought to market would only serve to enhance CTC's image and credibility as a Goldsworthy progeny.

As for your challenge to my credibility etal,fine, go for it. But did you even take the two minutes required to check the Housing.nu website? Apparently speculation as to my intent is sufficient for you which hardly inurs to your credit vis-a-visy our opinions so oft expressed here as to CTC's value and performance. For the record, I own 225K CTC shares which I acquired at .10 two years ago. Trust me, I have no interest in seeing the value in those shares do anything but increase.
