This is Excellent News...
CTC probably donated the cable, it can't be that long of a piece as it is contained within a sub-station...
Arizona Public Service Engineers and the Electric Power Research
Institute (EPRI) will be monitoring the 69 kV line to document the conductor's
performance throughout changing seasonal conditions. This data will help
further characterize the high-temperature performance of the ACCC conductor.
Bob Pitts, APS Section Leader responsible for the installation of the
conductor, stated, "The conductor installed very easily. The installation of
the deadends and splices went very smoothly with a very short learning curve.
The Compression fittings went on as easy as, if not easier than, ACSS
compression hardware." He also stated that "He is excited about its potential,
and anxiously awaits the results of the EPRI testing."
Phoenix is the best location in this country IMO to test the high temp characteristics of ACCC. It's the hottest big city in America with summer temps 100-115 degrees every day during the summer.
Notice our CEO is using the word "novel":
"Our novel technology solution offers the transmission
industry an immediate opportunity to increase circuit capacity and a reduced
cost per delivered kilowatt, while improving system safety and reliability. We
are confident that the completion of this project will be instrumental in
establishing future installations."
Leading to future installations with:
Arizona Public Service is Arizona's largest and longest-serving electric
utility, serving more than 931,500 customers in 11 of the state's 15 counties.
APS, with headquarters in Phoenix.
All around good news IMHO. Go CPTC!!! GLTA Longs....
Thanks pennybuster...
TRBY is looking very interesting about now...
Give this one a little more time to marinate, and it could really begin to move, with volume, agreed...GLTU PP
Any thoughts on TRBY.OB anyone??? TIA
Keep an eye on CPTC Tomorrow...
The rumor (I can't find anything that confirms this...) is that Bill Arrington: is to receive a "Businessman of the Year" Award at the National Republican Congressional Committee's Tax Summit, between 11am-1:15pm
Apparently there is more than one category/winners...
I'm still hunting for a link to the news coverage this event will have.
This will bring a lot of attention to CPTC, but doubt it will have an immediate impact on the pps...though it may...
The end result is a lot of very good, and very free PR for the company, and should bring CPTC to the attention of a lot of people that have never heard of them before, and bring us new investors...All JMHO
CMGI Huge Gap UP This am!!! YES!!!

Another fluff PR this a.m. about drilling another 1000ft. in the last 24hours...The drilling should be finished this weekend, with test results out Monday hopefully. This one has done a complete round trip from the breakout at around .90 to 1.08 back to .92 Talk about volatility!!! I'm staying in this one, a real gamble, but hoping for the best...GLTA
green--I posted my first use of Swammi Oil...
On the RB and IHUB SWME Boards this morning.
I got my first order of 024 yesterday...
A one ounce spray bottle. It arrived sooner than I thought it would. Shipped from Texas to Oklahoma. Good packaging, though the plastic seal was a bit hard to cut off. I hear they have a fix in for this issue. I had to get a magnifying glass to read the printing...Took a hot shower first, as one poster recommended, and applied liberally to my neck, shoulders, and lower half of my back. I put way too much on I think...The smell was overpowering though not that unpleasant. It made my eyes burn and water. Cleared up my sinuses too. Then the tingling began. Pretty intense...Then the warming sensation, went outside to smoke one, and it felt very cold in the wind. This stuff penetrates deeper than anything I've used before. But the bottom line is--I think it works pretty darn good on pain. I was hoping for something a little more miraculous, like total absence of pain, but I know that's kind of unreasonable. It reduced most of my pains considerably. I like the fact it's 100% Natural. It is a bit expensive though, but if used in moderation, I'm pretty sure it will last a long time.
I like it!!! And will highly recommend it to others. I'm buying more SWME today at these lows, hoping for the best...GLTA Longs! Go SWME!

The only question is: How do we get it to him? We each send a money order "Snail Mail"? If he had a P.O. Box, that would be ideal, otherwise not sure he'd give up his home address...Any suggestions? EP? Oh yeah, you're out of messages today...lol
I felt the countdown to liftoff start again too...
The Pres's speech is a good thing for CTC.
A funny post on RB today stating Bill Arrington was at the White House to accept the "Businessman of the Year Award" from Bush last week...It would be nice if it's true, but am rather suspicious of the source...Wouldn't there've been a PR or something mentioned about this at the SH Meeting???
OK, I got the HDWR hint too, thanks...I heard what the Pres said about more coal ("we have 250 years of coal reserves right here in America".) and nuke vs. oil power plants.
The question is: what do we do after 250 years???
"U.S. Needs To Upgrade Transmission Infrastructure"...
The Pres just said...Yes!!!

re: EP running out of posts daily...
Let's chip in and buy this guy a paid subscription to IHUB so he can't run out of posts...I'll chip in $5.00
His information is too valuable to be cut off in midstream like this, with almost 3 hours left in the trading day.
C'mon fellow Booshers, chip in...we've all profited by the prophets input! It's time for our input... GLTA
Strongwell also has "transmission" sized poles:

IMO, they are much stronger competition than Resin Systems.

Biophan's CEO Pens Column for Nanotech Briefs Magazine, Discusses Convergence of Nanotechnology and Biotechnology
Thursday March 3, 6:00 am ET
Highlights Include Breakthroughs in Healthcare Enabled by Nanotechnology
ROCHESTER, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 3, 2005-- Biophan Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:BIPH - News), a developer of next-generation biomedical technology, has announced the availability of an article authored by the Company CEO, Michael Weiner, in the January 2005 edition of Nanotech Briefs, an industry publication that focuses on nanotechnology and its applications. The article appears in the issue's "Perspective" column, and is entitled "The Convergence of Biotechnology and Nanotechnology."
In the article, Mr. Weiner discusses the accelerating progress in medical and technical knowledge that has come as a result of the convergence of the two disciplines of biotechnology and nanotechnology, in combination with other advances during the past 30 years.
"Miraculous breakthroughs will soon abound as a result of the overlapping and accelerating knowledge and innovation explosions as nanotechnology and biotechnology converge," Mr. Weiner writes.
Mr. Weiner cites authorities such as Andrew C. Von Eschenbach, M.D., Director of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services of the National Institutes of Health, who has said that innovation in nanotechnology can bring an end to cancer by 2015.
Mr. Weiner adds malaria, heart disease, and diabetes to the list of serious diseases that nanotechnology can help combat. In addition, he writes, nanotechnology is contributing significantly to the battle against emerging potential health threats, such as the evolution of new viruses or bio-weapons.
The piece can be read in its entirety on the Biophan website, at www.biophan.com/NB_Perspective_0105.pdf.
