El, I've been quiet for a while but have decided to post today. Law Dog has added some great Intel to the message board as always. The latest law suit is not pointed at Ron and his company and in fact GPSI is not a defendant in the law suit. The suit is pointed at 2 individuals in particular and the rest get lumped in as a scare tactic and there is no consequence or penalty to the plaintiffs in doing so.
To prove 'racketeering' in general means that the 2 defendants set up a business front for the sole purpose of defrauding investors/ people out of their money and that will be tough to prove. Ron and his brother have not been successfully sued and that's another fact. They have been building their brand and running their business and are stand up guys. The state of California thinks very highly about GPSI!!! And their Kiosks are going to be in every courthouse in So Cali real soon.
Well Surf, you are obviously under the impression that there is wrong doing involved but in our country its always been INNOCENT until proven guilty not the other way around. In any event, this law suit drama is a good 2 years away easy until it gets a court date. There are so many people involved, (10 plus their attorneys),that was a cluster before the ink even dried. And that's a fact.
El, The law suit is not affecting the company in any way nor holding anything up. Jail side is sold. Plain and simple. The lawsuit is still in the 'discovery' phase and has just as good a chance as getting dismissed as it does going to trial. Filing a lawsuit is the easy part of litigation...collecting and proving wrong doing is the hard part.
Stanley, well said. I certainly do enjoy myself and never forget how precious time is. Enjoy the weekend brother.
El, deal is done and no turning back. Ron is on to the court house spaces now and that is on his radar.
Penny, I think Ron is over 50 but I can tell you when I saw him at a trade show a while back he was fit and in shape. He looks like he can kick someones ass.
KP..OK...Put me in touch with your rancher buddies.
El, I love the banter on the board today. the folks suing are disgruntled because they bought some licensing rights to the Kiosks but never got any contracts in that area. Just bad luck and now they are claiming racketeering. I think they watched the movie good fellas and got carried away, it's all good fun to read though.
Eleniak, I only post info that I know to be true. I know for a FACT that James Sylvester is no longer employed by GPSI. Hes been gone for quite a while.
El, you can rest assured that GTL poured over GPSI's records and finances and books to identify how much the Jail side was worth. It took months to sort through this data and in the end what happened? It was all good and they went through with the purchase. Yes there are still PRS needed to have create full transparency but it's a comin!!
Just because some guy who owns $1000 worth of stock says he's not satisfied or convinced or whatever he is claiming now'( it's hard to follow) it doesn't really matter because they are not waiting for his approval or blessings and anyone new to the message board is going to be really excited about this stock.
GPSI is out of tha gate now and I agree that it's only up from here.
El, i said last week that this news was gonna 'sting' the NaySayers on this board. No matter what great news is released a few of these dudes will keep coming back with nonsense like this. When audited FINS are released these guys will say they are fake, when the price soars past $1 they will say it's blood money, etc, etc. Its the nature of broken people to behave like this.
Stanley, thanks for the praise. I did predict for the 31st.. and if you re read my posts I don't make predictions about PPS or Press releases but it was an attempt to gain a little clout here on the board as someone who has accurate information. I share info when I believe in it and can back it up. I won't advise to buy or sell or hold or sit on the sidelines...to each his own. This board is starting to get really good now and a place for positive info to be shared...love it. OMG I just saw Hodge drive by my house in a new Winnebago...I guess now we know where the proceeds from the sale went. damn it.
That's right sister.
El, the sale of the jail side is a smart move. Jails have limited potential because there are only so may beds/inmates per facility but the Court house and municipalities have UNlimited potential because of the amount of people that can access these Kiosks and also the various types of bills that can be paid through the Kiosks. Remember, fees are collected every time a transaction is completed. It's big time revenue..
El, you are right my friend...not a one P&D from this company...Also,I do know what you are referring to regarding other material events taking place and it's really going to be fantastic. I don't know that the stock price will really do too much though until they hire a PR firm to start getting the word out about the company. I said before I would guess there are under 100 stock holders in this game. I'm going to be buying more week and every time I can add to the war chest...I will.
El, well here we are .. talked to some folks today and there is some real good news in the pipeline. Hodge is crushing it.. I'm real proud of him and how he has pulled this off. He's smarter than anyone knows and he's street smart and those types are relentless when they have a goal set.
Stanley, it's all good brother!!! I'm buying more next week so I hope news won't come out until after next week. Nonsense.
Hey El, are you aware that SECURUS bought JPAY a few months ago? Right...I talked to some peeps today and the telephone companies are now controlling the Jail Kiosk business as well as commissary too and so that's why JPAY and EZCARD sold out..
Stanley & El, I have no doubt that Bell is a day trader and that he knows what he's talking about and that he makes a good living doing what he is doing. But I just don't think it's cool for him to keep coming on this thread and making fun of the folks that want to buy into this stock and keep telling us all the things that are wrong with this penny stock and how the big boys do it. I too day trade/swing trade and I definitely don't consider myself part of some elite investing crowd. I'm just a guy with an Etrade PRO account. I never have the desire to log on and post my 'daily gains' when I have a good trading day either. But that's just me. He says he's here to learn but he can learn just fine what happens with this company without all his bullying of the board. Just my thoughts.
Stanley, hang in there brother and soon you will have your redemption. You can't argue your point with these um 'stock pros' so let the fate of GPSI run its course and that will be better than trying to debate your side of this coin.
The company is GTL and they are the leader in jail communications and now the Kiosk payment space as well. Stanley posted their website.
Stanley, I concur with Eleniak. GTL just recently closed escrow on the GPSI purchase.. It is my belief that they will be sharing this news with the shareholders very quickly as they should. They never had any good news to release before this event and they NEVER released any fluff BS during the long silent period like those scam stocks so in my book a PR now makes them look golden!!
I agree with that thinking. The thing with this stock is that it's unlike any penny stock I have ever seen in that it has never been pumped or promoted by the company, in fact it seemed like they fell off the map.
But when news comes out and a PR or two and a promotion company involved to spread the word... look out.
El, it's gonna be a big surprise indeed. I honestly think that the naysayers have a good reason for being so skeptical...totally understandable. It was frustrating as hell to watch this play out and to wait years for them to turn it around but its happening....but I can wait another week for a PR before I really celebrate.
El, I too have been buying whenever I can since 2012.
El, a few more days and this ship sets sail. The naysayers are gonna have a tough time with this one. It's gonna sting.
Stanley, don't let Bells comments get to you. Let him have his fun...it's all good.
Stanley, the website is the same because it may take a while to streamline/ redirect it into their Touchpay model
...anyone's guess. Important thing here is that the number you call will confirm that EZ card has been sold and that is pretty solid evidence to go on. Did ELeniak rig up a fake number with operators standing by to say these things?? Probably not. So we have to accept that it's true and my guess is that GPSI releases news by the end of the month...which is by Friday. That would be icing on this chocolate cake.
No, old toxic debt is gone now...they are debt free now and moving forward lean and mean!!!!! Get in there Surf and get you some shares!,,
El &Stanley, I said that the naysayers would take this news hard and it's starrting. No matter how much good news is discovered or released you will never get them to just admit that it's looking pretty good right about now for the company. A huge company like GTL certainly was satisfied with whatever numbers they were provided and they bought the jail side. Enough said. News will be out soon and then we can all move forward. Keep in. Ind that Naysayers will be moving along with us...that's just the nature of this game.
El, I just called and INDEED you are correct. I just spoke to a nice gentleman and he informed that the JAIL Kiosk business has been bought by a new company. Here's what I learned... GTL bought 'TouchPay' and announced that on feb 2015 here: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2015/02/prweb12496104.htm
and they bought the EzCard & Kiosk jail accounts as well. News forthcoming..Good link my friend... This is the best info in years!!!
Naysayers are gonna have a hard time with this one.
Surf, just the employees who handled the phone lines regarding the jail Kiosk business are gone. The employees who handle installation and maintenance of the Kiosks are not in their actual/physical offices like the phone support employees were. That's what he meant I believe. He can verify that or not.
Stanley, you are exactly right. So now someone has to figure out who bought them out and then check that companies website and that will put an end to all the mystery.
KP...You are wrong brother. Heifers do not get ground up...steers do. Heifers grow up to become cows. Surf quoted that 'Cows' come and go but the bulls stay and that prompted me to make my reply.
Cows stay around twice as long on a cattle ranch than bulls do because they can produce a calf every year up to 15+ years old...whereas a breeding bull
only has an active life of 6-8 years on a ranch (depending on breed) and then they are off to the butcher. Just facts. Disclaimer: all bovine will one day become part of the food supply.
I have never heard that saying Surf..Good point.
Surf, actually on a working ranch the cow stays around much longer than the the bull.
KP, That's some good DD my friend. GPSI is no longer needing the services of installers because they have sold that portion of their business. Good
post!
El, Yes sir indeed I heard the news. Like the Stevie Wonder song: Signed, sealed, delivered...I'm YOURS!
El, all is good on the GPSI home front. The news about a lawsuit has given the haters some ammunition to toss around the message board and it looks like it will keep coming for a long time. Its all good though because it will make them look even more silly when the price rockets on news.
GPSI the company is not being sued and is in no danger of losing anything.
Stanley, I'm sure the specifics of this case could be argued pretty heavily by both sides and that is what the courtroom is for. It's like when Facebook was sued by the Twin brothers who claimed that it was all their idea ..the company went on regardless of the outcome of that lawsuit. The main thing here to remember is that this is NOT a criminal case ...it's a civil suit between parties and the courtroom and jury will decide how it ends.
