Sad day for Canopy. Thanks for the good times Bruce!
Well I'd be ok If I can still get Tweed buds then. Re-read the email and it says this "When adult use legalization does come into effect, you’ll be able to explore all of our recreational products on Tweed.com, including Foria, DNA, and Leafs By Snoop."
So its Snoop and DNA that will be hitting the rec only channel. Makes sense. Sucks that I probably wont get Sunset for 9 bucks now though.
Emailed to me as I'm a client
Ugh Tweedmainstreet is being changed to spectrumcannabis.com. Medical users will only be able to get spectrum products now. All Tweed and LBS and craftgrow will be on Tweed.com for rec users.. Spectrum is not very good weed imo. And now I get to look forward to rec prices for the good stuff. Yay.
Yeah you might want to make sure your grammar and sentence structure is on point before you start playing Internet spell check.
Wheres this #1 you want me to see? I only see titles referenced as first or second..
CGC would never get into the alchohol biz. Doesnt make sense. But STZ is in the biz of brands. The takeover makes more sense. But who knows really.
Oh for sure. I dont think they are selling any. They would be smart to buy more!
Hey Ya'll, just thought I would post a lil information from the Constellation conference call in relation to Canopy.
-CEO has stated gains of more then 700M has been recognized from investment in Canopy Growth.
-Further investment in in Cannabis will be done in Q2.
That's all.. Happy Canada day everyone!
Were both invested with Canopy as well, so we know how to pick quality!
Tweeds new Blue Cheese is such a beauty. Very impressed with the quality on this strain!
We would need lots of Tweed buds for "research"
Keep me in the loop!
Lmao we all deserve real parm
Thanks! Fun fact. I bought into GLH when they announced a LOI to buy juju in the US. By the time it was clear JuJu was NOT going to be bought I lost 50% of my money.. ha.. good times. Good times.. Welp turns out all I ever needed was Canopy once again lol.
I just heard on Twitter Canopy Growth acquired the Canadian trademark to juju joints and related trademarks. Can anyone confirm this?
Arguably Canada's most renowned MJ researcher. As always, Canopy hires top tier talent only.
25% more efficient
I'm sure they will get a chance. This week may be short notice though.
I still call it CGC at times.. it's familiar.
Wow what a great close!
Giddy up!
I get it varies, but don't advertise 21.5% "coming soon" for a month of your going to deliver something significantly lower. I waited out for this release and now I'm just going to buy something else.
14%? They were advertising as 21.5%! Boo!!!
I'm so happy you put this "on the record"... weeeeee indeed. Eat your humble pie.
It will be fine for a long time. Worst case turn it to extract and build up the inventory in that.
Hahaha gold
I only own one MJ company. The best one there is! You may know it... Your opinion on Bruce is yours to have. I have a much better opinion of him.
Also flaunting about your stock picks is pretty lame. You have no idea what I own or my returns. You make x% on LEAF while I make y% on another stock.. who cares.. I don't know you.
Buying your way to #1 with shareholder dilution is short sighted. Canopy is much more diligent with shareholder capital.
I like that Bruce said were beyond the stage of acquiring production space in Canada. At this point he is moving onto growing our international footprint and value added capabilities. Always a step ahead. Always the leader in a industry full of followers.
That would be epic.
Snoop is going to bring some promo to Tweed on Rec launch. Mark my words.
I haven't noticed any change in timing. Its probably an issue with your local Canada Post outlets.
So you disagree with me? Your a "do what you love" guy too?
Canopy gets some love from CNBC

"Find your passion and do only that".. what a load of cr@p. Somewhere along the line people seem to have grasped onto this idea. That's why everybody born after 1990 wants to be a video game tester. You know what, the actual people that test video games for a living are sick of their work too. I love to cook at home. But throw me in a kitchen for 15 hours under the heat of the kitchen, prepping, cooking, cleaning all day. The novelty wears thin.
Do you know how many people have a passion for art, sports and music compared to the actual chances of working in that field and making a living? Competition is pretty stiff in dream jobs. For every rockband that makes it, there will be thousands that never make it out of the garage.
Sure some people live a blessed life, and manage to do work they love. But that's winning the life lottery of sorts. You would have to identify your passion, master it, then monetize it. That takes focus, and time. When I was a kid I just went through the motions. Had a great time playing as kid. Focusing on girls and getting in trouble in highschool. Then it was time to decide what too do for a living... ugh.. I guess Ill goto IT. That pay well. 3 year later and *BAM* I'm an adult now. With adult responsibilities. Bills. Groceries. Mortgages. Kids. Frig, what was my passion? I have no idea. Even if I found it, I'm a grown man now, and my passions have changed.
Reality sucks sometimes. Reality is about compromise. I'll settle for working a job I'm good at and pays well enough to get ahead. Even if that means I'm in a little gray cubicle for 30 years staring at a screen. Don't get my wrong, I enjoy my work for the most part. I'm competent, get my work done on time, and enjoy my colleagues. But I don't derive an endless source of pleasure and motivation from it. Sometimes you got to just grind through the rough spots.
The real secret, is not to do something you hate. That is a waste of your life.
Maybe your future is a stay at home day trader. You got a good head start with Canopy, and a passion for the market.

A great breakdown is in here with Canopys international footprint and ownership %.
Another 10M customers waiting to be served. Excellent..
17 years experience is nice. But I still do not think that experience will lend itself to Aurora Sky. And ACB is depending on Aurora Sky to deliver their product on time, and with high quality. At this point all we can do is wait and see how their harvests turn out.
