OCT 10, 2000, M2 Communications - Brighton -- Viatel, Inc. today announced the launch of its reseller channel in Europe, offering UK resellers the chance to provide voice services in France, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.
The European Reseller Service will build on the success of Viatel's UK operation, which recently ranked number one in an NOP survey of resellers' attitudes to communications companies. Commencing in France, Viatel will provide a switched access, national, international and mobile voice service and national ISDN employing its own network.
Viatel provides a secure, Web-based provisioning system that enables resellers to provision new customers and make changes to existing customers' telephone numbers. Resellers will also be able to download fully-rated billing data on a daily basis over the Web. Full call itemisation is available on a monthly basis and billing is available in the relevant currency. Viatel will provide Customer Care support at local level in each country.
Symphony Telecom - part of the 365 Corporation - is a UK Reseller that is currently trialing Viatel's reseller service in France.
