No way does Coke go to Nbev over ACB... No way IMO is that going to happen
You have my respect now - Ill admit I have posted negatively after seeing your charts. Mostly because it feels like another spam for personal gain.
Hang around and chat with us
In theory you could short a position and never cash it out/in if you could hold that short position forever? Maybe I need to read more on Shorting in either regard. I appreciate your info
My apologies - but I must ask if it is true that short positions can be held indefinitely. I thought that at any time regardless of the holder, brokers can demand the "borrowed" back.
Shorts have 2.4 days to cover according to Short Squeeze. There are about 30 Million shares that need to be "bought" back on borrowed shares from my understanding in this time so those who can, try to push stocks down to accumulate back and make their money. Big impacts on stocks.
This is all from my own understanding and Im definitely not a financial adviser. Ill even toss in the "always do your own due diligence and never use what I say as financial advice!"
SIMMER DOWN NAW! - Bounced back - healthy and ok after so many days of green. Shorts collected back, as price fell people definitely got scared or stop losses kicked in. I know absolutely that there are people who sold at 8 hoping to save and just ate out of their profits
Yup - turn off your watcher IMO - this is where people bail out and sometimes regret it. I thought about taking some profits at 9 but wasnt worth the risk to me. Ive done it many times over the years - jumped ship due to my shaky hands and the big dawgs ate me alive - only to watch the stock jump back up.
Maybe!! I was thinking based on if they were gearing toward "wellness" vs "highness" we likely wouldnt see an alcohol based company but who knows
3 beverage companies... Pepsi / Coke / ?
Think US units sold for .25 per Ausa or that it would have happened after market open and somewhere between this $8-14 range its at? I was a bit grumpy about thinking I got .25 for every 34 ACBFF I held, but if it actually gets sold at these ranges I think Im pretty happy!
Whats AUSA for US investors? I am wondering what its trading at, and if its possible to buy for US - what is ticker?
BREAKING RESISTANCE! RICK FLAIR WHOOOO
If we see great Quarter release next week, once the uplist occurs I think this might surprise even the most wishful thinking of us!
CHOOOOOO CHOOOOOOO
9.40 looks like new support? If we break that today we should see 10 IMO
GL Brother! Same. Trying to stack some chips and double down on rental properties. Given some health stuff and family history I dont have time to wait till Im 67 to relax :)
Heres to hoping I can enjoy those Infused Rum and Cokes sooner than later!
Yeah - hindsight is always 20/20! Balls for sure, and while I love investing, I always know theres a chance you can lose everything lol. This has been my biggest holding out of a dozen stocks, and definitely the one I feel safest on.
I wanted to be able to put mine several years ago into it but unfortunately my 401k management wont let me select individual stocks. If I was able to do that when initially started buying in at .35 cents I could be retired!
DEA approves imports for Tilray - could be something to do with that?
Depending on how big of news, but typically in the past could be an hour, or few hours.
It doesnt ALWAYS mean something good - I am assuming its good, but you never know!
Well, I remember one time in Mexico years ago "someone" I met got way more bud then they thought so they and their buddies ate it and chased it down with rum and coke. Definitely did more than they thought it would and sounded like it tastes pretty nice. I imagine if you "infused" it better, it would be even greater!
Coke would aim to receive benefit of this deal as well, and the highest benefits would be received if this deal takes place AFTER Aurora is uplisted, resulting in more investment money flowing in
I expect we will need to be on the US exchange before that deal is shown. Next month...
Yeah - CBD Coke, with CBD Rum, with CDB chips.
Welcome to the future
I grabbed a coke this morning and smiled on way to work! WHEN we uplist next month, its off to the raises.
I might quit my job by 2020 and use my investments to add another rental property - then sit on a beach sipping a CBD Diet Coke + Rum
CHOO CHOO!!!!!
Using my crystal ball without any chart reading, Im betting after the estimated Q report on Sept 25th we see $9.47
Well said - brand new investor here and the first response is an attack
24 small house lots?? I own a two unit rental property on .5 acres. An acre is almost a football field.
4000 acres is definitely a lot -
US Investors - Anyone receive your portion of sales from the merge yet? I reached out to IR and they havent gotten back to me. Do we need to do anything to get this, or will it automatically sell our portion of shares and deposit it into our accounts?
Should I expect to wake up one day and have more cash in my TD Ameritrade account? There really hasnt been a clear instruction on this that I have found.
I keep reading that an independent broker must sell them for us - who do we reach out to??
4000 acres in the US is small. In comparison to some countries and total acreage in Europe or other locations it can be huge in regards to land set aside for agriculture.
How much will be delegated to things more needed, such as food / animals / food for animals must also be realized.
lol! Top 7 tomorrow. Definitely been a shortsqueeze with them buying back
Exactly - lets look at the "Market cap" of EACH of the companies they are currently involved in. If anyone has some handy financials skills and the time ( I unfortunately have to finish work and then head out to a property )
.... Slap together some market caps for each of the companies we are involved in, factor in the ownership stake of aurora, and all of those fun things.
Look at options for coverage. Worse case, and this is not "advice" I am just suggesting what I would do....
I would rather have cash on hand in a few years and live off my cash vs having great credit because I paid my hospital bills (that wont hit credit right away anyway) and have no cash.
In either regard, my best wishes to you and your family.
I would also like to remind people, and perhaps Chicago Paul already has in the past as hes definitely a smart one here to listen to:
Soft Gels... Aurora is going to go after the Soft Gels market.
People who dont want to, whether it be for health, stigma, whatever, all "smoke or use oils".
Most people reach in the cabinet and take aspirin. Imagine instead of aspirin you have a variation of a product that DOESNT destroy your kidneys or liver if you drink a beer with it. Or if you do have liver/kidney/organ issues where toxicity impacts you....
Reach for your Aurora Capsules, bang headache/migraine/hangover/broken arm pain on the mend.
Share buy back would adjust for this, one thing to consider. You also have to add in the valuation of the varying "businesses" involved with Aurora as you cant just compare it to Canopy and say this vs that and toss market cap numbers.
Marijuana has varying playing fields, and factoring in what all of the companies do that are partially owned by Aurora now, its really not so black and white.
We wont just be making profits in aurora for "selling pot"
I still dont entirely know how US investors get their cash from "sales" of ours. Does this happen automatically and TD Ameritrade will deposit it for me when it is sold, or do I need to contact someone?
***CHART-8-27-18*** - Just kidding, but look forward good weather tomorrow for ACBFF
Theres Tornadoes here in MN too but I still live here :)
I wouldnt live there ALL year round, just the good times!
Chicago-Paul - I am riding the same plane as you.
Catch you in Paris, or perhaps the Dominican - the later of the two being the place I am eyeing up my retirement home. 150k for a 5 BR Villa 7 minutes from the airport next to the beach.
While I am only 33, I expect to have that home paid outright within a few years, on top of my rental properties. Whats helping with that? Hard work, investment properties, and getting "high" returns from MMJ Sector
It would, but I also dont mind know people are shorting hoping it goes down causing loss for investors - only to find out they are wrong and lose their own money :)
Quite honestly, I dont want Big Pharm to touch it. Perhaps thats a generational thought instilled in me but I support MMJ because of personally knowing its positives. I question everything about Big Pharm regardless of any studies they do, funded by them...
