On ESPN-radio
Carpe, In thelink from ozz112, can you explain this entry:

I ate all the donuts an hour ago.

When you use a new sponge, you should allow it to really get full of water before you do the first squeezes. Then you squeeze it 3 or 4 times and the flow will start. Just squeeze as needed. You don't have to be frugal. You'll get a feel for it real soon. I don't know if the bumps are therapeutic as they claim. I do most of the massaging of the soap with my fingers.
I got the pet sponge from PetSmart.
I have used it on my Bichon (who loves to dig in the yard). He's of course white. The pet sponge did a wonderful job. It really cleans him up. The smell is removed (grass and dirt stinks). The tears marks on his cheeks are helped a lot, but I still use the whitening shampoo as an addition to get rid of that mess, which is never-ending.
The pomeranian showed very good results also. The tight undercoat was softened and brushes out really well. I expect it's the conditioner.
Try it, you'll like it.
Andy
EpicStocks,
I have been nervous about all the gyrations in my SPNG shares, till today, I did a weekly chart and looked at what has happened since I bought into it. A trend line encourages me to sit back and enjoy it for a while yet, since the best is yet to come. I already took out my investment and it's working elsewhere. Just my observation.

That' great.
We don't want Hollywood.
Scup's house is just fine.
Andy
Jazzer,
I learned a lot from the BIPH explerience. Especially in the area of selling shares.
I have started over with a new bank. I am up 20X now and I am seling them along with the experts.
GLTY,
Andy
Hey, Jazzer,
Good day to you. say hello to 10hdcp.
I guess we'll have no more evenings in the pub.
Andy
Rocket, been there, done that.
Started over again. Now I got it right.
Anyone can, but you gotta learn.
Andy
Thanks Bill,
I agree with your cautions to the un-initiated.
I have direct experience with getting married to a stock.
It is very disturbing to hang on and on and wait for that perfect idea or perfect product to catch on or be accepted as the share price continues to slide down from $3.50 to .018 over three years before you give up and sell. Of course that is after initially buying in at $2.90 on the way up. It's a lot like watching your ice cream cone melt on a hot sidewalk. The best you can do is step in it and cool your toes for a few seconds while it melts.
Capital preservation is much more important than extreme profits in a hurry. Do recover the cash you invested in the flurry of instant profits. Remember a 5% profit is much better than a small chance of making 500%.
Be careful, all of you, and great good luck to you all in your choices.
Andy
Thanks for the reply,
I am on free shares since .02. I took my original cash out and have made more profits elsewhere with that. I am not yet in your league, since I started with a small bank four months ago. I'll be looking for the next SPNG in about a year to make the big profits. Of course, even at my level SPNG will be significant. It's better than a CD or T-Bills.
Andy
Wadirum1,
Thanks for your candid response. Note taken.
Question:
Whether you have a stop or if you attempt manually to sell after the top has rolled over, you stand the same risks. Is it not better overall to notice that the price has well exceeded the top of the BB and begin to dispatch batches of shares so you will be lighter when it rolls? In this case of SPNG, it was feeling toppy at the close at .14. The next trading day was was a hanging man which would indicate a change in trend. That signal was ignored by the market and the price became extremely toppy. I could not see it going higher than that, but I let myself get into the Wheeeee of the moment and let myself get surprised by the calamity. No one to blame but myself. Just need a proper defense mechanism.
Your further comments are welcome.
Thanks,
Andy
frischi,
Very sensible conclusions, Thanks for your efforts.
Andy
If the stock is at $4 you just set a stop in at 3.75. If the price falls down, you minimize your loss, take your profits and wait for the next leg. The share price does not continue up continuously on any stock, even those with a long upward trend. You can adjust your stop higher if the stock continues above the last setting.
You can then replace your shares at a lower price or buy more shares with the same dollars.

Andy
I've been using that indicator for one of my scans for a while now. It has been very reliable. Most of my trades are paper only since I still operate on a small bank.
That "kiss" can be disappointing. Have you found any confirmation indicator to detect that possibility?
Andy
That's within 10% of that sponge thing.
You're right Harleyboy. Investing is a JOB. You've got to study it like it was your only income.

buy the 12 unit case of WC and throw
in a couple more items. Save shipping.
Andy
Deerfield,
There is plenty of room in the market for both.
The sponge eliminates shipping expensive water around
the country/world.
Since we use water to dilute WC, I assume it's water based
too. We can put that in a sponge as well. Water based
product is the only requirement.
Let's push for the success of both great businesses --
WB first, of course.
Andy
I missed getting int SPNG at .006 -- but got it here.
I am boardmark 561 and SPNG is approaching 700. Let's move ahead.
Andy
I just took out my original SPNG investment. It now lives in WNBD and I'll ride the SPNG rocket and watch this one. GLTA.
Andy
When the share price goes above the upper bollinger band, you will almaost always have a down day or two to get back inside the bollinger bands. Just look at the last two consolidation periods on SPNG. This one should look about the same. The consolidation strengthens the next leg up.
Is this pincher finally ready to make a pop? KDKN
I'm still learning.

That's great. I have now boardmarked it. Will
catchup over the weekend.
Thanks,

I-B-N, Thanks muchly. I am determined to win.
Any technical advice is supremely helpful.
Just reading the jabber on this MB is super.
Thanks to all.
Andy
SPNG broke throught the wall at .04.
Maybe it's going up again.
Andy.
I-B-N, This is my "piece out of the middle scan" what's your opinion??
[type = stock] and [country = us] and [daily sma(20,daily volume) > 100000]
and [close >= .01] and [close < 2.00] and [daily sma(20,daily close) > daily ema(50,daily close)] and [daily ema(5) x daily ema(13)] and [daily sma(5,OBV) > daily sma(10,OBV)] and [obv < [1 day ago obv*1.1]] and [obv > [1 day ago obv*1.02]]
Yeah, I could use a few days off the right hand side of the chart too. Guess I'll have to take I-B-N's advice and put my nose to the grindstone.
Andy
CTB, wish I had your list 3 months ago.
